Such a special place to wake up in - right on the water with snorkelling & a surf break just there. My three kids loved their bunk room and being right on the water. Heidi was amazing and endlessly helpful. If you don't want a resort in this area and appreciate good old school Hawaii - this is the place for you.

We had an amazing time at Joe and Anna’s place! The location was ideal, tucked in a quiet area but still close to shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything you’d want in an Airbnb. The kitchen had all the utensils and essentials for easy cooking, and the pool was perfect for our kids, especially with the fun pool toys that were already there. Joe and Anna were incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to answer any questions. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. It really felt like a home away from home, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

There is very little to add to the already glowing reviews of Zhe's place. Everything you read in the description and reviews, and see in the photos is totally accurate. For perspective, we stayed in Oahu at a luxury resort before flying to the Big Island and my two teens said they enjoyed this AirBnB more than the resort. A few notes, we had a Jeep Rubicon and had no problem navigating the driveway, there is a grocery store, drug store, ice cream shop and restaurant five minutes by car. The neighborhood is very safe and peaceful with stunning landscaping. The home itself has everything you need - shampoo, conditioner, first aid kits, beach gear, laundry, tea, packing tape, house slippers, etc (truly everything). This stay was absolutly perfect. Book it!

First of all, the area was amazing!! Manini beach was literally a 2-3 minute walk down the road for great snorkeling (gear is provided, if you need it) with a path for some amazing sunsets. There are a couple of fruit stands in the neighborhood, which was great for my mother’s daily banana stroll. You can see the bay from the amazing lanai that we spent so much time on to watch the snorkelers, kayakers and dolphins. The house itself was great! Split into half, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on either side, separated by an open concept living room and kitchen. The dining room is outside…where else would you want to sit down and eat? There were A/Cs in the bedrooms if you needed them, but the ocean breeze was usually enough for most of my party. There were lots of spices in the cabinets for cooking and some staples leftover from past renters. The long, winding and narrow roads make some great scenery, but also make your trip to anywhere else a bit long. I would definitely stay again.

The perfect place to launch all our adventures. Central to every activity we planned on the Island. The spectacular sunsets were a great way to end each day. Super quiet except for the crashing waves! When we return, this will be our first choice to spend the nights.

We loved our stay. We did have a window air conditioner go out and they replaced it within a day. The layout was as described so with 3 couples we had to knock before entering bathroom and walk through bedroom. There were limited supplies in the kitchen and bathroom. The views and location were perfect. Thank you for having us!

This was a great place to stay on the big island. The property was fantastic. I would go again. The beach shown on line is not on the property or near the property but there is a small area on magic sand beach to wade into about 1000’ away that is a public beach. You need to drive 15 miles north to find a nice beach.

Lee’s home is perfect in every way imaginable. Our family of four had a spectacular vacation. We are already planning our next stay.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lennis’s space, along with her thoughtfulness to the space and a being a great host. Her space is very airy, clean, and so many thoughtful details. Such as, beach accessories, many bathroom and kitchen necessities. I stay in a lot of home rentals, and I am really happy when there are items left behind for others to use, like spices, oils, condiments, and there were here. Lennis’s place was our shortest accommodation of our Hawai’i visit(unfortunately), so we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool( which is just a couple of steps away). There are so many flowers and plants on the grounds. We loved that the parking was right in front. It was nice that the condo is a single level apartment. Also, the front porch is lovely, I wouldn’t say it’s very private, but we are city people, so I didn’t mind. And it is not an active road. Stay here!

Our stay in Kona was absolutely amazing! The Airbnb was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Waking up to ocean views and enjoying coffee on the lanai was unforgettable. The location was perfect—close to beaches, shops, and great restaurants, but still peaceful and private. Our host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making sure we felt right at home. We’d return in a heartbeat. Mahalo for an unforgettable stay!

we stayed four nights. the home had all we needed in kitchen and beach towels, snorkels, and buggy boards. Pool was delightful. Close enough to easily drive to restaurants, beaches and stores. A little difficult to find in the dark. The beach was closed since the coral was spawning. I would stay there again.

This was perfect for our family vacation with our adult children! We loved having morning coffee on the lanai overlooking the golf course while watching the sunrise over the mountain. The beautifully landscaped community is pristine and offers well maintained amenities. The pickleball/tennis courts and one of the swimming pools are just steps from the front door, but it was so quiet and peaceful. The townhouse was ideal, VERY comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully outfitted for our family to cook meals together. The lanai was also ideal for hanging out, reading and playing games in the evenings after days of activities. We also appreciated Jeff had nice quality beach chairs and snorkeling equipment available for our days at the beach. Perfect distance from downtown Kona, kayaking & snorkeling excursions and variety of activities. Jeff and Allison were great about providing suggestions. I would absolutely recommend!

We stayed in the apartment with four people (two couples). The accommodation is exactly as described. We felt completely at ease and the communication was great. The fantastic sunset from the terrace was a particular highlight. The whole of Kona and the surrounding area is easily accessible by car. We would love to come back. Thank you!

Our group absolutely loved our stay. The host was extremely responsive and the pictures don't even do the place justice. We loved the view and relaxing by the pool until it was time to hit the beach. The location is ideal; it is not too far from Kona (8 minute drive) but you feel like you're in a jungle oasis.

WOW WOW WOW!!! 11/10! We stayed at Barb’s oasis for a week (5 of us) and it was absolutely perfect. The house itself is amazing - very beautiful and spacious. We spent every morning and evening relaxing by the koi pond. The location of the house is perfect - access to wherever you need to go but not right in the middle of everything. The snorkeling at the bay right there is unmatched! Barb was amazing with communication and recommendations! Would absolutely, 100% stay here again! Mahalo, Barb!🌺

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Justin‘s place. It is very spacious and we were a family of five. My mom, my husband and my two daughters. The kitchen was fully stacked, and the mattresses were super comfortable. The snorkeling gear was a little old so we ended up buying our own gear. The area was great. Very close to a swimming beach and a beach for snorkeling. Justin was very responsive. Always replied right away and very helpful. We hope to come back someday soon!

Our stay was incredible. They had everything you could want or need. Beach umbrellas, chairs, snorkel gear, water shoes, sand toys and so many beach towels. Our large group was comfortable and the home was spacious with many lovely outdoor areas to enjoy. We had the most wonderful relaxing stay and would recommend this home to anyone.

Chelsea was out of town yet was immediately responsive to messages dealing with a couple of minor glitches; it helped that the owner lives nearby. Place overall was great. Lack of air conditioning (it was not hot, but the upstairs did warm up in the April afternoons) was offset by the private pool, a better way to cool off than by refrigerating the house. Nice layout for two couples, one upstairs with the larger bedroom and large en suite bath, the other downstairs with two smaller bedrooms and a bath, so we each had good private space. Only drawback was the downstairs rooms seemed a bit enclosed, although all had windows. Nice large lanai and the landscaping around the pool made it feel especially private. Be sure to investigate the pantry and shelves before shopping...the place was very well supplied when we arrived. We would definitely stay again if we're in Kona!

Great place for family. Gas and charcoal grills with the pool is a huge plus. Beautiful view. Prime location if traveling the island. Not too far from everything. Would highly recommend this place for large family.

What a delight to stay in Janine’s home for a month! Most mornings we would sit out on the ocean viewing lanai to eat breakfast and watch the birds, look at the flowering trees and bushes, see the surfers off in the distance. In the afternoon, there may be a nap or reading time in the little nook in that same lanai. In the evening during dinner, we watched sunsets. Another lanai awaits off of the living room looking down on the yard. And if we needed another napping place, the lanai off the master bathroom has a hammock. Her home is very spacious and decorated with Hawaiian charm. Ceiling fans are in all of the rooms; only a few evenings did we put on the air conditioners in a couple of the bedrooms. Janine gives local information for groceries, eating establishments, beaches and house instructions to make the stay pleasant. If we needed anything or had questions, Janine was quick to respond. Definitely a great place to stay and call home during a visit!

We loved it there, super nice hosts! Beautiful views of the ocean right from the patio. Great place to walk down Ali'i drive, and magic sands was super close.

Loved this place! We stayed here with two other families and each family having their own bathroom was what sold it for us. Also loved the simple decor. I find that many air bnbs overdo it with decorating and feel very cluttered once luggage is unpacked, but this one was perfect. We appreciated all the provided amenities for traveling with infants and small children, and also appreciated Kevin’s responsiveness and recommendations! ***there are nighttime wildlife sounds. People debated if it was a frog or a bird, but either way, we loved it. If you are sensitive to sounds at night, this might not be the place for you. Also there’s daytime construction going on at the house next door, and it occasionally woke our baby up during his daytime naps, but we would’ve still stayed here even if we knew about it, as it wasn’t too bad with his noise machine on***

Enjoyed as advertised and more…perfect location next to the beach and away from the busy tourist area. The ocean environment did not disappoint. Great location to go anywhere on the Big Island. The unexpected leisure items were also a welcomed plus. Thank you so much for hosting us…could not have asked for a better stay.
