Great place to stay in Kaikoura. Neat , clean and with great views of the sea and within walking distance of the beach. Near city centre. Will recommend to friends and stay here again if an opportunity presents itself.

Great location, with a great view of the mountains. Very spacious and comfortable room. Spacious bathroom. Great water pressure in the shower. About a 15 minute drive to see the fur seal colonies on the peninsula. Quiet, lovely to hear the birds in the morning. Wish we had stayed here in Kaikoura for a few more days.

This place was perfect for us. It's bigger than it looks in photos and has a separate living space that's so cozy. The view from the porch is unreal- we loved it. It's in a great location as well. We would definitely stay here again!

I highly recommend Caitlin’s place! The house is brand new, spotless, and beautifully maintained—everything was so clean and tidy when we arrived. The bed was incredibly warm and comfortable, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The towels were soft, fluffy, and felt like hotel quality. The home is fully equipped with everything you might need, from kitchen essentials to thoughtful touches that made our stay feel extra cozy. Caitlin was also a great host—very responsive and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

Jennifer's place home away home. Felt so comfortable away from home. Each and every thing, she has given importance for the comfort of residents. One need not worry about any thing. She is a wonderful host, waited for us to reach the place and given all the information needed for us and left. She has maintained that place so neat and comfy. We would love to return to Kaikura and stay in Jennifer's place and also recommend this place for every one. Home away home. Wonderful break fast with lots of variety and no one is left out in that spread. She has even taken care of small details for us, when we reached so late. Great place to stay in Kaikōura! Steps from the beach and Esplanade. Night sky was amazing; we could see everything there is to see. Comfy place with a kitchen, which was great to have. The host was very friendly and helpful when we had to check in late, leaving on the light and heat for us. The shower is not the best for tall folks, but plenty of hot water! Overall a fantastic option and we'd definitely stay again next time we're in the area.

Jo and Rod's place is very cosy and homely. The house is beautiful with a huge garden and the view is beautiful. Besides, they are also very friendly and kind to tell us what to do around the area.

I have been using Airbnb for 8 years, and Peter and Tuti’s home is the best experience I have ever had—one I will probably remember forever. There are so many highlights about the place: the rooms are super clean, tidy, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and carefully maintained. Tuti is a chef herself, so you will enjoy top-class kitchenware along with fresh eggs and milk from their farm. The wooden furniture adds a lovely touch, and the mattress is very comfortable. Peter is very responsive and always replies to messages within seconds in a helpful way. In a nutshell, Peter and Tuti love their home, and they prepare it for guests with so much heart—you can truly feel it in every detail. We had a lovely chat with Peter and Tuti on the day of our departure, they are such warm and amiable people. I genuinely believe everyone will enjoy and love this place as much as we did!

We travelled from Christchurch to Kaikoura and had the best stay at The Pink Palace. Super clean and comfortable. Had everything that we needed for a stress free family getaway with thoughtful touches. James is an awesome host and clear with his comms. Looking forward to staying again. Cheers!

A beautiful place to stay, with a stunning view of the hills… Complete with a whirlpool, sauna, and fireplace… All appliances are high-end and fully equipped Wishing we could have stayed longer…
