Our wee cabin is a mixture of container and add ons. Outdoor covered bbq, private outdoor area to sit and reflect the wonders of nature. Cabin is situated on our son’s land adjacent to main house, fully fenced cabin area private off-road parking. Working dogs on main house property area(friendly and love attention.)

Seaward Pottery is newly renovated from a pottery studio and shop to a dream holiday home. Located on the pacific ocean next to renowned NZ surf breaks. This home is set up with everything you need, designed to relax and entertain while enjoying quality time with friends and family. While parking is available onsite, the steep driveway may be challenging for larger or low vehicles; roadside parking is also an option.

Just a short walk in either direction along the new beach path takes you either to the Pier Hotel, or past Hiku Restaurant and Encounter Kaikoura Cafe if walking towards the town centre which is approx 15 minutes away. Easy walk to the playground. The Cottage is small but cosy with everything you need, recently renovated, a secluded place to relax and enjoy Kaikoura.

Dolphin Cottage by the Beach

Great for a couples getaway or a quiet working space for a business person. Located on a large section that fronts the Esplanade. A 30 second walk down the driveway to Gooches Beach where you can look across the bay to the Kaikoura Mountains, take a dip, kayak or paddleboard. This property shares a driveway with the hosts that live in the property in front. A great walk along the new beachside pathway to the Pier Hotel and town. A cute cosy, comfortable cottage with everything you need.

Black Mountain Rukuruku

Black Mountain is situated in the foot hills of the Kaikoura Seaward Ranges and 6km North of the Kaikoura township. The home is designed for short and long term stays, is very private and enjoys a rural aspect. Bedroom, living, dining, bath and deck all enjoy mountain and garden views and it is possible to see the ocean from the surrounds. On arrival you will find freshly some freshly prepared provisions - probably enough for a little breakfast for two on me for your first morning!
