Our wee cabin is a mixture of container and add ons. Outdoor covered bbq, private outdoor area to sit and reflect the wonders of nature. Cabin is situated on our son’s land adjacent to main house, fully fenced cabin area private off-road parking. Working dogs on main house property area(friendly and love attention.)

Sit on the deck and watch the whales and dolphins or rest your eyes on the mountains. Close to the whale, dolphin & seal watch boats, and boat launching facilities. Recently redecorated and comfortable beds. Fully fenced for child and pet safety. 5 minutes drive from town. Sorry no wifi. Bring your own linen and save $25 each.

Black Mountain Rukuruku

Black Mountain is situated in the foot hills of the Kaikoura Seaward Ranges and 6km North of the Kaikoura township. The home is designed for short and long term stays, is very private and enjoys a rural aspect. Bedroom, living, dining, bath and deck all enjoy mountain and garden views and it is possible to see the ocean from the surrounds. On arrival you will find freshly some freshly prepared provisions - probably enough for a little breakfast for two on me for your first morning!
