To those who love the outdoors. Hikers, bikers, golfers and any who just want to soak up the majestic coastal alpine mountains that’s uniquely Kaikoura. Cabin is 7km north of town. Our wee cabin is a mixture of container and add ons. Outdoor covered bbq, private outdoor area to sit and reflect the wonders of nature. Cabin is situated on our son’s land adjacent to main house, fully fenced cabin area private off-road parking. Working dogs on main house property area(friendly and love attention.)

Coco's Cabin

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Coco's Cabin is a small home on the Kaikoura Peninsula with amazing sea views. Watch the moon rise over the water from the comfort of the couch. And get ready for truly spectacular sunrises. If you're lucky you might even spot a humpback whale/ dolphins. A swimming beach is a short walk away, and you can drive to the town centre in 5 minutes. There is a small bedroom with a double bed/ensuite and a loft with an Ecosa sofa bed. There's no tv.

The bi-folding windows at the dining table open up to the ocean & the backdoor opens out onto a deck where you can view the Kaikōura Mountain Ranges. Electricity is supplied by our quiet & modern generator, which quietly hums away in the paddock. The generator is a simple pull start & is filled with fuel to power lights & appliances. Shore Break

Centrally located on the beautiful Kaikoura Esplanade with the beach and stunning mountain views at the end of the driveway. Just a short walk in either direction along the new beach path takes you either to the Pier Hotel, or past Hiku Restaurant and Encounter Kaikoura Cafe if walking towards the town centre which is approx 15 minutes away. Easy walk to the playground. The Cottage is small but cosy with everything you need, recently renovated, a secluded place to relax and enjoy Kaikoura.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A beautiful private self contained downstairs flat, with private balcony with ocean and Kaikoura views. A nicely themed master bedroom with an ocean & seaside cabin feel includes a great & very comfortable double bed. A small kitchenette and dining area means you can dine if you are looking for a night in, or make an enjoyable breakfast. A new leather sofa gives you quite space to read and relax. Coastal Kiwiana - Hilltop Views!

This grand old lady, resting upon the hilltop in Kaikōura just had a facelift. Full of character and kiwi touches, this is the perfect place to bring the family, ditch the car and enjoy all Kaikoura has to offer. This kiwi ‘Bach’ has been enjoyed by hundreds of families over the years and is now under new management. Luxury linens, kitsch nick-nacks, family games and plenty of space are some of the highlights of the house. 2 bathrooms keep the queue short and the views won’t disappoint!

Black Mountain is situated in the foot hills of the Kaikoura Seaward Ranges and 6km North of the Kaikoura township. The home is designed for short and long term stays, is very private and enjoys a rural aspect. Bedroom, living, dining, bath and deck all enjoy mountain and garden views and it is possible to see the ocean from the surrounds. On arrival you will find freshly some freshly prepared provisions - probably enough for a little breakfast for two on me for your first morning!
