Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

We had an amazing time! The airbnb was a perfect base for us with a breathtaking view. Highly recommend getting a sleeping mask for people with light sensitivity in summer. Thank you, Lilian, it was a pleasure!

Elin and Hans were friendly hosts. The location was super peaceful & close to the waterfront, the house was so beautiful and cozy, their hospitality was really warm and welcoming including fruits and drinks for us. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Lisbeth's. The apartment corresponded to the description. Lisbeth was an excellent host, totally sweet and friendly. We were able to check in a little earlier and a fruit plate was ready for us. Coffee and tea were also available. After a great sea eagle safari, we enjoyed the sun on the terrace and the view. The apartment also offers a sauna, which we also used on the rainy day. The bath in the ice-cold water was an experience. We were able to leave the car in front of the door for the way to Svolvær center. Everything was within walking distance. Overall, we can only recommend Lisbeth's apartment.

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The view was stunning and we truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Highly recommended!

Beautiful house cozily furnished. Thanks to the beautiful weather, we could even had the chance to bask in the sun on the lovely terrace. Absolutely quiet location at the end of a dead end road.

Hilde‘s home is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in. It’s elegant, cozy, warm, beautifully decorated, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make yourself feel completely at home. There are baskets of sweaters so you can sit warmly on the balcony and watch the water and the light change. She has thought of every detail you might want to be able to relax fully and enjoy this unusual island. She even has binoculars for you to use to watch the birds and any sea animals that might come by. She was helpful, kind and timely in every interaction I had with her. I could stay here happy for a month and perhaps I will another time!

Very pleasant house centrally located in Kabelvåg! We ended up being a family of 10 who had a very good time.😊 Tidy and clean. Kaia responded quickly to all questions and was very helpful. Would highly recommend!

The host is very responsive. The unit is easy to locate. The place is quite, with 1 car parking slot available. The floor is a bit sticky.

Our stay in this apartment was lovely. It is so well equipped, really extraordinary. Everything you might need is there and more. The view is just amazing and the location was perfect for hiking. The bed was a bit too soft for our liking but that was the only drawback. Totally loved it.

Excellent flat within 15 min walk of downtown, Laddawan was very responsive and helpful, the bed was comfy, the shower was excellent, the kitchen was well stocked for you to cook at home and relax. Highly recommend! We would happily come back and recommend to friends.

The stay in the cottage was great. The house was equipped with everything we needed, and even more. Very well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. A washing machine and tumble dryer are a great convenience. Comfortable beds, good, dark blinds on the windows. Sometimes you can see hares behind the house through the windows :) Private parking and plenty of space in front of the house. If I were to fly to Lofoten for the second time, I would definitely stay in this cottage. Nusfjord is a beautiful town to spend your holidays in Lofoten. It is very well located, it is close to all popular places, and Nusfjord and its bay is an attraction in itself.

What a great place to stay! Unlike many other listings on Airbnb, this apartment felt like a home and not a holiday rental. It’s very nicely decorated with among others beautiful plants, the bed has the greatest comfort you could think of, the kitchen has everything you need; pots and pans, plates, etc are all of high quality. Everything in this apartment feels premium. And on top of that, Hilde is a perfect host. She even passed by to ask if everything was ok and we had a nice chat. If I could give this apartment and Hilde more than five stars, I would be glad to do so. I highly recommend staying here!

A great stay at André’s apartment which was very clean and comfortable. The walk to the apartment is about 30 minutes from town but the scenery en route is lovely so it’s ok! Very quiet and nice neighbourhood. André was very accommodating and responsive too! Would recommend to anyone :)

This is a great place to stay. Spacious, well equipped and centrally located. It has everything you need for a year round visit, and is really handy for public transport, shops and the town centre. Kjersti is a wonderful host - kind, friendly and very helpful. I will definitely look to stay here again.

Karina’s place was clean and comfortable. Perfect spot about a 10/15 minute walk from the center of town.

We had the pleasure of staying 8 days over Easter at Roger's apartment in Ballstad. We have traveled home incredibly happy and satisfied. The apartment is lovely and central with walking distance to everything from shopping to hiking routes to bus stop. Check-in was super easy and no problem. The apartment lived up to the photos. The bed and duvets were great. The bathroom had a great shower and was clean and tidy. The kitchen lacked nothing and the living room invited for coziness. Outside there was a table and bench we had lunch by and enjoyed the view. It was a great luxury that we didn't have to clean the head, just put the towels in the laundry basket. Thank you for that. All in all, we felt incredibly at home, and could have easily taken another week. We would recommend the place and Roger as a host to anyone who would like to visit Ballstad. Roger was a great host who helped us get home as no buses drove from Ballstad. 100% worth a visit and a place we want to come back to.

Practical and cosy stay in Henningsvær! Easy to find and self-check-in to. Compact yet well-designed apartment in a peaceful private area. The place was modern, sparkling clean, and had everything we needed for our short stay driving around in Lofoten (parking right outside, kitchen with dish washer and bathroom with laundry machine were especially appreciated). Would stay again and recommend to everyone. The host was also very kind, helpful and fast to respond when we booked at short notice. Thanks!

Such a wonderful place to stay for a trip full of outdoor adventure and midnight sun in Lofoten! The apartment had everything we needed, was in a beautiful and quiet little cove with a stunning view, and just a short drive away from all sorts beautiful beaches, hikes, and quaint little towns. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to explore the area!
