The house has everything you need and appears today as a new exclusive modern house. It has 2 bath, bathtub, 4 bedrooms with a big (200cm x180cm) nice bed, modern kitchen, very good WIFI, 65" TV, washing machine and dryer, and an exclusive sauna. Cozy old cabin in the forest with 12v electricity. Located by Kjerringnesvatnet in Vesterålen, 15 km from Sortland. Suitable for families or couples who want nature experiences. The cabin is located by a river and water. The canoe can be used freely if you want to paddle in the river. Kjerringnesvannet is salmon-bearing water and you can fish in the water if you buy a fishing license. The cabin is located in the forest with lots of great hiking areas near the cabin and around Vesterålen.

A cozy cottage with an ocean view in a tranquil island, a place where you can start to explore the beauty of Vesterålen. My husband and I started our project in 2017 and finished it in the end of July 2024. I’ve been obsessed with the bay window where I can see the beauty of the view through all the seasons which give me such a different moment in every season to take on. I would love to share those moments with all of you. Welcome to our place and make your own memory to bring home.

The Blue House - Blokken

A genuine and cozy house from 1900 with an amazing atmosphere and view. The Blue House is an optimal base for hiking, skiing, kayaking, snowshoe trekking and mountaineering. Fishing in the lakes or in the sea is right outside the door. Maps, first aid kit are available free of charge. The house is just renovated, and painted in colors chosen by the “blue city” artist, Bjørn Elvenes. Charger for electric cars is available for an extra fee.

House by the sea, beach, sauna

Holiday house (2015) for all year use next to the sea on the Hadsel island. Right by secluded beach facing spectacular mountains, perfect for hiking, fishing or just slow living under the midnight sun or northern lights. Wood-fired sauna (extra cost) and two small canoes (not in use autumn/winter) for guests. Several design classics from the 1960's and selected personal objects give the house a distinct look and atmosphere.
