Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Johnston

Great lodging for a large group of teenagers in town for a conference in Des Moines. The house was very nice, very very nice! The host was very accommodating for our size of group. The neighborhood is super nice.

The house was clean and comfortable!! It was perfect for what we needed! We will definitely stay here again!

The home is very clean and as described. Elaina is quick to respond with any questions and very helpful. There was an issue with our initial home we rented that was unexpected and beyond her control and she went out of her way to help us get into this home. We are very grateful for all she does!

We had a great time. 5 cousins that had not all been together for over 10 years. The house was very spacious. We spent most of our time on the beautiful back porch catching up. We never even made it to the game room in the basement. Justin had a book that told us about the home and how we could take care of it. So much better than a hotel and Trang to find a space for us all to congregate!

This was among the best air bnb’s I’ve ever stayed. We traveled with two teens and a three year old. Quiet street, amazing playground within walking distance and fenced backyard. Inside was wonderful. Updated nicely, very comfortable beds and good bathroom/shower.

Julie's place is beautiful! We walked through the front arch each day and experienced the beautiful smell of the flowers! Great location with amazing houses around to admire. We spent a peaceful breakfast and dinner using the spacious front and back porches. The house had everything we needed and more! I highly recommend this home to stay at if you are in the area!

We had a wonderful stay at David’s place! The home had such a cozy, welcoming feel that made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up for comfort and convenience. My family and I truly enjoyed ourselves—whether we were relaxing inside or exploring the area, it was the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect. David was a great host—responsive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

We have stayed in many airbnbs, in many countries, and many states. This may jave been our favorite. The property was perfect, secluded, and so relaxing. Just loved this place!

My daughter and I visited the Pella Tulip festival and wanted to extend our trip so we came here to see/hike the high trestle bridge & visit the arboretum. Renee’s place was great for our visit! Easy to find & get in, the place was super cozy and comfortable! Private outdoor space with the balcony was nice. The bathroom was clean and functional. The kitchen has everything we needed - a stove/oven with plenty of cookware, fridge & microwave, coffee maker, plenty of dishes. Beds were comfortable with good blankets and pillows. The only negative I found was that the keys were a little difficult to lock/unlock door. I would recommend and return!

Staying with Susie is now a yearly trip for us. She is an amazing host and you cannot beat the charm of the town. My daughter looks forward to this stay more than any other we take. Can’t recommend staying here enough.

Felt like home! Didn’t use the kitchen except for snacks, we ate out our entire stay, but if you were to use the kitchen it was stocked with all your needs! I personally would suggest eating at Bluebei sushi & Grill right below the Air B & B I suggest trying EDAMAME & CHARRED EDAMAME & SHISHITO PEPPERS OMG everyone was happy with their orders ! This location is perfect, no car need, there’s something for everyone in walking distance! If I could give more the 5 ⭐️ I would

We had such an amazing stay! Super easy to find and in a great location. Close to Jordan Creek Mall and restaurants. Check in was super easy. They do leave the door unlocked prior to your check in. I do wish they had a keypad entry as that was a little strange but understandable. Unit was extremely clean. We have family that live right in this area and plan to stay here again in the future when we visit. Unit itself is roomy. Two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and a separate half bath in the living room which was amazing! Very homey overall and the host was very quick to respond.

Absolutely beautiful place! It was so quiet & peaceful with beautiful views! Beautiful apartment with plenty of space for us & we loved the deck too! Perfect place to rest right above the winery! The host was amazing to work with too! We will definitely stay again!
