Pet-friendly holiday rentals in John o' Groats

Once again. Our second visit to The Noddle. Top review for this wonderful property. Lots of quirky lovely additions to the decor. The hosts fabulous artwork on the walls throughout were a delight. All we needed was at hand, and plenty of room for all 6 of us on our mahjong game tour. Clear instructions for all the carefully maintained heating units and other electrical appliances and all wall switches/sockets clearly labelled. Lovely maintained house and garden-including the 'secret garden'. A great decking with comfy chairs to sit in the sunshine and listen to nature... and count the bunnies! What more can I say.? Thank you Tony and Penny for letting us stay in this wonderful place.

We had a magnificent stay in Alness. Beautiful surroundings and the home was a real treat to stay in. Enjoyed learning about the local history and taking walks in the area. Love to return!

Sheila’s place is beautiful, clean and very close to all amenities. Sheila was very helpful and took time to show us the house etc. Sheila is always responsive. The house is nice and the decor was amazing. We cannot thank enough to Sheila for making our stay lovely and comfortable.

My friends and I loved the space and light and comfort of the Kirk. We came all the way from Norfolk on trains and ferries and fell in love with the land and seas and community of Hoy. The peace is deep here ... no background hum. I love to see the sea around me. We cycled over to Rackwick Bay which was exhilarating and went to cafe church at Emily's which was connecting. There aren’t enough words in English or Gaelic to describe how much myself and my friend/support worker LOVED .. staying @Brough Farm @ South Ronaldsay … i Love rural isolation , waterways, wild walks , seabirds and cows, stone walls and buildings ✅✅✅✅✅✅, not necessarily in that order … the capacity to self cater , with resources easily sourced from Stromness and Kirkwall , including fresh sourced fish , lamb , beef etc … have a bath after a big days walking and sleep in comfy beds , obviously adds to the bliss .. and then the cherry on the cake of our 10 night stay … was of course our timing was perfect for the Orkney Folk festival … which was sublime … Two Australians … left very sad .. from ‘our’ Orkney Island home … Mel and Graham were the bestest hosts .. and I’m deeply grateful for all of Grahams patience with sharing his farming knowledge about the darling cows and calf’s .

Great place! Good stopping point for road trip from Edinburgh/St Andrews area

We felt we'd found the perfect place to stay. Very comfortable and clean and a breathtaking view. All we needed in the kitchen to self cater and we preferred to eat at home and enjoy that spectacular view. Our dog was very happy with the garden and the chance to chase rabbits. Linda and Gary were extremely helpful throughout both prior to arrival and during our stay. We'd love to return one day.

We loved our stay! Beautiful caravan with stunning views! The caravan was like new so clean! The host has been fantastic with communication & was very kind & helpful letting us know if we could get in any earlier too. We would love to come back it was a lovely treat!

Had a lovely two-night stay at Badger’s Den with a few friends. The bedrooms are very compact, but the living area was nicely spacious. The kitchen was well-stocked and two toilets (one with shower) were appreciated. It’s a short walk to the absolutely stunning beach, though the caravan park pool was an extra charge. Overall, a great small place for a short stay.

Just returned from a 2 night stay. We had a wonderful stay. The caravan was spotlessly clean, well stocked with utensils, and was in a great location. Our children loved walking over to the park. The beaches are superb. We will be back. Thank you!

Sarah was a fantastic host and really friendly. She kindly delivered new garden furniture which was really appreciated given the lovely weather. A great caravan with everything you need.

Stayed for 3 nights with my partner, just before Christmas as we were visiting family in Lossiemouth. Lindsay was super helpful and communicative as soon as we booked. The caravan was perfect, bigger than expected, very clean and comfortable. It was a wet windy cold weekend but once the heating was on, the caravan was lovely and warm. Gorgeous location right on the beach. We will definitely look at staying again (hopefully in the warmer weather!) so we can enjoy the location a bit more. Overall a perfect stay.

Had a lovely 2 nights stay at Jenny’s place with my little dog. The place has everything you could possibly need and I particularly loved the view. I would totally stay here again! :)

Great place, spotlessly clean and well maintained. We only stayed overnight though since on our way to the Orkney Islands. The ferry port is just five minutes drive away and five minutes drive out of Thurso.

What a delightful cottage with stunning views. So peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were exceptionally helpful. We had a great time and throughly recommended this cottage. Dog friendly was a bonus too.

Great flat in centre of Wick. Lots of space to relax and good amenities in the kitchen

These pods were perfect for our family. It's about 15 minutes to John O' Groats and plenty to do around the area. Gillian sent recommendations for things to do and places to eat around the area which was super helpful. My son befriended the sheep that are in the field next door and spent hours out there feeding and petting them. Gillian also offers a range of extras to purchase including a BBQ package and grill kit which was all very delicious. Overall we had a great time and would recommend these pods to our friends!

What a beautiful location. So peaceful and right next to stunning blue sea and an inquisitive seal. The house is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It's got great walks from the door . It isn't far to the shop and is right next to the moving Longhope lifeboat museum.
