Cabin holiday rentals in Jenks Lake

This was the second time we stayed at the Alchemist Retreat! It was even better than the first time. This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at and we will continue to return every year. Jennifer is an amazing host and truly thinks of everything. She will ensure your stay is very smooth and comfortable. This Airbnb holds a special place in our hearts.

This was an wonderful place for a big bear getaway. we had everything we needed and the home was cozy and clean. the projector made movie night a blast and the location was close to everything. With our hosts recommendation we hiked up to casle rock and the views were amazing. we also got to swim in the lake. 10/10 would stay again.

We had such a beautiful stay! Kaitlyn is super responsive and a thoughtful host. The home is thoughtfully decorated, the beds were super comfortable, and the view was peaceful and serene. The location was perfect — close enough to everything we needed, but tucked away just enough to feel like a true escape from our typical LA hustle. We especially loved grilling dinner and relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. A perfect weekend getaway spot!

My wife and I spend our anniversary weekend at Ben & Natalie’s A-Frame and wow was it an amazing experience!! Perfect for a weekend getaway, located in a peaceful part of Big Bear and had awesome Amenities! Would highly recommend staying there. They were also incredibly communicative with anything we needed! 5 star stay 100%!

great little cabin right up against the tree-line to the San Bernardino National forest. great cabin for a small family. provided a lot of peace and quiet. the cabin is well cared for and the instructions for maintaining it were clear and reasonable. all of the amenities are well cared for and in perfect working order. very friendly and responsive hosts.

Beautiful Cabin , looks just like the pictures. It’s so peaceful and such a vibe. I loved the hot tub it was honestly my favorite part lol

Great location in town. Apple map navigated us to the shopping center next door when we arrived late at night. Fortunately someone there gave us directions for the condo complex. Comfortable bed and quiet complex. Pool was well heated!

Keara’s cabin makes you feel right at home. The kitchen has loads of good cooking equipment and utensils. The interior is beautifully decorated, the beds and pillows are super comfortable. It’s walkable to a few restaurants and drivable to all Big Bear’s and Lake Arrowhead’s activities!

This home fully lived up to the high ratings and reviews. It's a beautiful location, and the interiors are well appointed and stylish, without feeling precious. As a family with a large dog, we were especially grateful to have such a lovely home with a fenced in yard that allowed us all to travel together. Aside from the house itself, Stephanie was an incredibly responsive host and responded immediately to any questions that came up. Overall, a delightful stay at a beautiful property, we would absolutely love to return.

This house is a sanctuary. I definitely want to return for a private retreat. The deck looks out onto the forest and rolling mountains. The beds were comfy and amenities were great. Very comfortable and nicely designed.

Josh and Dons place was exactly as the pictures appeared. It was the cleanest and one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at through Airbnb! You will not be disappointed. I appreciated their house manual as well and the food recommendation for the Joshua hookah lounge did not disappoint! We enjoyed the proximity to Joshua tree national park and the quiet atmosphere around the property. Truly a place to relax and disconnect from all the other distractions of life.

I had an amazing time at Ben's cabin! It was very quiet and nestled in the woods. It had all the amenities of home and a great place to come back to after going out to town and doing activities around the lake. There was so much room to spread out and the couches and beds were extremely comfortable, which made decompressing easy. I would definitely stay again.

Peggy & Christopher’s Dala Haus was absolutely incredible. From the moment we set our foot inside the cabin, we were mesmerized by how beautifully the space was decorated. Our favorite spot was the loft media room, with a huge comfortable sofa, and the big windows to look out to the backyard to watch birds, squirrels and bunnies running around. The backyard that leads to the trails was what we were exited about and it did not disappoint. Our last night we set by the fireplace and played a board game with some wine and ended the night. We’d like to return to Dala Haus and explore the Big Bear Lake next time! Highly recommended!

I had an amazing stay at Sam’s place! The home was exactly as described. It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything I needed. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway, and the neighborhood felt safe and quiet. Sam was super responsive and made check-in/check-out easy and stress-free. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Had a wonderful, healing stay at this peaceful mountain cabin. The space was exactly as described—clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully prepared. It’s the perfect place to relax and recharge in nature. The space had everything needed and more! The balcony, surrounded by trees, offers the best view of the mountains—especially beautiful at sunset. Instruction manual was thorough and the guide book as well. I can always appreciate hosts that put a lot of thought into making your stay comfortable and fun. Just a heads-up: there are quite a few stairs, so pack light if you can. Overall, a beautiful and restorative getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay with our family of 5. We loved the fact that we were able to be close to the stores. The area is nice and quiet with a BBQ area that our family enjoyed the evenings talking, listening to the birds, and listening to the wind rustling the tree leaves. The host kept in constant contact with us to make sure that everything was running smoothly. It was a very de-stressing experience for us and we look forward staying there again in the future.
