House holiday rentals in Jefferson County

This was a beautiful destination that is private and away from the road, but close enough to all major shopping. It was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in and had all amenities that you could think of. The host was very friendly and responsive. He even had coffee and breakfast in the Airbnb for us in the morning. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need for cooking. The bathrooms had everything you need for a shower or bath and even had toothbrushes, toothpaste and makeup wipes. The pictures almost don’t do it justice because it is such an amazing gem. I can’t wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the pool and outdoor deck area. I would say it is perfect for a family or even a romantic getaway for a couple as there are standup showers and a Jacuzzi jet tub. Better than a hotel and amazing value for the price. We won’t stay anywhere else when we come in the area and we always come back to this property.

My family is native to the 1000 islands. I have been coming up my whole life. We have stayed in various locations and always been pleased. This was our first time not staying waterfront. The rates as a whole have gotten so high. This place was reasonable priced and perfect accommodations for my large family. We enjoyed all the amenities and was very comfortable. Close to town. The house was exactly as described. I would recommend to my family for future visits.

The price was a little high however we booked a little last minute and it was clearly the high season, plus can’t complain when the cottage was VERY clean, great accommodations. The AC worked super well especially considering how many windows and how hot it was, and the staff were super nice and helpful!

The house is spacious and clean. Plenty of room to spread out. Our family came to see the eclipse and were amazed by the views from the house, of the river, the islands and Boldt Castle. Sunsets were incredible. 4 of the 7 bedrooms have their own baths attached. The beds are firm and linens new and clean. The 4 seater hot tub was clean and ready to go. The house is surrounded on the non river sides by a hotel and marina, but the place is oriented to the river. Once in the house or on one of the multiple decks you wouldn’t know. The hotel next door provided us with any help we needed. There is a kind of charm to how dated the place is. The kitchen is big enough for many cooks and we had fun making meals. That said, we were warned by previous reviews about the two old ranges. They were right. Two of the burners didn’t work and one oven wouldn’t come up to temperature. All in though we had a great time. If we come back to Alex Bay with a big group we will stay here again.

Amazing gone to stay in while we traveled back home to visit friends and family. This house had a lot of historic charm and was perfect distance to so many of the attractions that make Sackets Harbor special. The hosts were incredibly helpful…even assistance us when our son lost something out in town. Can’t recommend them enough. You’ll love staying here and being hosted by Jaclyn.

The cottage was spotless and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful, making it a perfect getaway. Highly recommended!

Sarah and Rickey's place was great for my family and I to stay for a week in Sacket's Harbor. It is easily walkable to town and the historic battlefield museum. The pool and hot tub hit the spot for the sunny summer afternoons. The interior was spotlessly clean, the master bedroom suite is immense, and the refrigerator was even stocked with water and soda. And, it has the biggest TV I've ever seen to unwind after a day of local adventures! The area is great too; only about a 20 minute drive to get to various boat tours of the thousand island region / Boldt castle. I also really enjoyed cycling on the long and fairly not busy country roads. I'd come back again for sure.

Maple lane was a wonderful stay, we felt right at home in the rural surroundings and the home was larger and more spacious than expected , the place was private, cleanly and serene , can’t wait to come again soon!

Very nice place to stay. Well laid out floor plan with open concept. Conveniently located to Fort Drum and local attractions. Very responsive hosts. Will stay again if in the area.

Loved this cute little cabin on the river! It was spotless and had everything we needed. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Lorrie was a great host!

Amazing spot to catch a sunrise in Chaumont Bay! Wonderful, tranquil spot in a tight-knit neighborhood. Spacious house with room for a few parties. Host is super great to work with. Will be back soon.

For the location, the price was well worth it. Overall great visit, very peaceful mornings. I did bring my own foldable chairs, which worked out even better so I could sit next to the fire pit and look at lake Ontario.

The house is very nice and clean, It old farm house i belive so surrounded by farm land. I would say it was the nices place i had in my rental experience so far. We were fishing so drive toBlack River is under 20 minutes, Sandy creek is about same 25 minutesand Salmon river is just above 30 minutes. Wewere very happy with the choice we made. Thanks ,Marcel

Clean and comfortable home with a stunning view of the St Lawrence River. Jacqualine is a great host! She responded quickly to my questions about the area with suggestions for places to visit. Highly recommend this vacation home!

Clean and uncluttered space with huge comfortable couch, a big dining room table to accommodate the entire group, and radiant floor heating. Lots of open floor space for the grandchild to run around. Easy access to post, Evans Mills, Carthage and Watertown.

we had a small family reunion with siblings, and cousins not seen or hugged in decades. This property was simply perfect for a large family. Everyone had their own bed, towels, etc. The home is well insulated and the house is clean. We had sufficient hot water for showers etc. The coffee pot pretty much ran most of every day. It has a nice big fridge. The view and the beach are spectacular and the beach is very walkable. We would definitely recommend this property and we would definitely rebook with Michelle in the future.

We were completely enamored by the beauty of the inside and outside of the house. Clean, tidy, comfortable and a lovely collection of decorations. The hostess was very accommodating. You will have a very peaceful and restful stay. We are already thinking of booking another reservation.

This place is the perfect getaway for a peaceful time. Our wonderful host Paula was very responsive and made everything so easy for us to feel comfortable! 10/10 would recommend.

Great host. Debbie responds to messages quickly. The home is perfect for a weekend getaway or a comfy place to stay for salmon camp. It’s only 10 minutes away from the Salmon River.

We had an amazing stay at Sean’s place. The host was fast to respond and very helpful. The location was beautiful and we loved being able to have a fire or two while we were there. The house was perfect and everything was very clean! I would definitely stay here again!!
