Cottage holiday rentals in Jefferson County

We rented Nikhil's place for my wife and I and my 2 son's families while we were in town to hold a celebration of life for my parents. The place was a great accommodaion and met all our needs. The 2 living spaces gave lots of room for us to spread out. The room overlooking the bay was bright with so many windows. We wish the weather was more favorable to be able to enjoy the outdoor space, it looked like it would have been a treat. Everything was clean and well stocked...we lacked for nothing. Highly recommended!

The cottage was the perfect place for our annual girlfriend's weekend. Drove up to James St each day for shopping and dining with ease. Took the boat tour of the islands with the stop at Boldt Castle. The house was ideal. Plenty of space for the 4 of us, SUPER CLEAN!! Adorable decor. A relaxing night after the boat ended with a quick dip in the hot tub. I cannot tell you enough how clean the cottage was. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, including Coffee and tea that Ryan left for us, along with a bag of goodies to make S'Mores. Thank you for some wonderful memories!

The house and grounds were great, Such a wonderful find for a weekend getaway. Gillian med us upon our arrival and gave us a third walk-through of the property. A very kind and welcoming host. There was an incredible amount of space in this country ranch, both indoors and out. A hot tub was clean and large enough for my group to hang out, picnic tables outside, made for a good barbecue. It was such a short trip to downtown Alexandria Bay, five minutes, it really was a great place to be right next to the heart of it all well not being stuck the rest of the visitors. We all look forward to looking this place again and enjoying the thousand islands

We had a great time hosting our family from out of town at Morgias Beach. Lisa was very kind, the house was spacious, and the deck out back was stellar.

Absolutely gorgeous view in a beautiful and comfortable cottage. We enjoyed fishing throughout the area and ending the day with a stunning sunset. We hope to visit again soon!

Our Family and I had a Wonderfull Stay! Robert was such a great host, he meet with us at the house and wanted to make sure we had everything! Plenty of space for the whole family and your pets! We would definitely come back and stay!

Staying here was an amazing experience from the time we arrived, until the time we left. Chris, Melissa and Betsy always responded to my questions and went above and beyond the call of duty meeting and exceeding our needs. The place is cozy and comfortable. The views from the living room are amazing and we don't normally bring our dogs with us, but since the dog sitter fell through, we had to bring them. We were concerned about how they would acclimate and it only took a few minutes before they knew they were home! I was stunned. They had some nice touches like a huge Keurig with the pod and coffee maker, coffee filters, sugar, half & half, Dunkin' (Dunkaine') ground coffee and a water cooler. DG Market is only eight minutes away, so grocery shopping was easy, and Sackets Harbor is a quick drive away If you want to get away from it all (but still have cable and wifi of course), recharge the batteries, get some R&R, I HIGHLY recommend staying here. We look forward to coming back soon.

For the third summer in a row, our stay at the cottage did not disappoint! As expected, Barbara and her team were wonderful hosts, the house was clean and well maintained. Check in was a breeze and of course after coming back for a third year, we certainly did feel right at home. With two adolescent/teenaged kids with busy summer schedules, a week of peaceful quiet, family game night every night and beautiful sunsets is exactly what we all need to recharge!

Super easy check-in process. We arrived much later than planned, took a bit to figure out the parking situation but once we figured out where we were supposed to be the rest of the stay went very smoothly. Fantastic location, very peaceful, if it had been a little less windy that weekend we would have totally started a fire in the fire pit and sat by the water to enjoy the view. The cabin itself is very cozy, in a good way; efficient kitchen (not exactly set up to cook a full dinner but plenty fine for breakfast, though you wouldn't want to with Mimi's place not even 10 minutes away). One thing to note, the shower head is pretty low (I am under 6' and had to bend down a bit to get my head wet; on the plus side, I finally know how tall people feel!). Cabin had two full size beds, not ideal for a family but it worked out with the little one slept on the couch. Wifi was reliable for the most part, signal did drop sporadically. Overall, awesome place, will stay again.

While it would be easy to stay right there in this cozy cottage on beautiful Pillar Point , it is also a great location to go out and explore. Parks, hikes, restaurants, boat tours, and more are a close distance. We did Clayton for shopping and lunch at Bella’s, lunch in Sackets at 1812, Uncle Sam’s 2 National boat tour in Alex Bay, Salmon River Falls, and Robert Wehle State Park in Henderson. Erin was an excellent Host!!

We had a beautiful stay. Brooke was very responsive and provided lots of great information prior to check-in. We had no problem finding the place. It was private and peaceful. There was a really nice grill, which we appreciated and used a lot.

Melissa’s cottage was as advertised. Very comfortable with a great view. Saw a couple awesome sunrises. The cottage is set in a protected cove making kayaking enjoyable, and she had kayaks available for use by guests. The deck above the boat house has chairs and a picnic table with umbrella for use by both properties they own. We saw and visited with neighbors all of whom were very nice. Kitchen had everything we needed for our week stay. There is a DG market conveniently nearby. Would definitely stay again.

For those looking for the quintessential island stay in the 1,000 islands, look no further. A quick boat ride directly across from Clayton with a beautiful view of the village and other notable landmarks like Calumet island in the Saint Lawerence. During our stay, my wife and I saw a ton of wildlife, beautiful views and enjoyed nearby Clayton. We enjoyed the peaceful cottage experience. Alice is a helpful, responsive host that knows how to make sure her guests enjoy their stay and have everything they need. Highly recommend.

Tara's cottage is so charming! It was furnished with everything needed to have a relaxing and peaceful vacation. My husband and I were visiting family in Sackets Harbor. We enjoyed coffee on the porch overlooking the water in the morning, and a glass of local wine purchased at the Farmers Market in the evening. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, utensils, and dinnerware for us to cook and enjoy dinner together every night. We recommend Tara's cottage to anyone visiting the area who enjoys accomodations close to town but far enough away to offer plenty of peace and privacy.

We loved the cabin. It was the perfect size for our family, with room to spare. The water access was amazing for jet skiing and fishing.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location! The house is adorable and it is located in a quaint little community where everyone was so friendly!
