Welcome to Hummingbird House, where you can rest and relax in your own container home in the country. We have designed two containers with your comfort in mind. Whether you want to relax inside the bedroom and listen to our record collection or chill out in the large outdoor tub surrounded by our lush landscaping we will make sure you have everything you need. White Horse Ranch

White Horse Ranch offers a special space to view both wildlife and farm animals. Take a walk and discover white horses grazing or visit a local small town restaurant or boutique. Located between two small country towns so there is a lot to choose from.( At least for small towns!) This newly built tiny house is just an hour outside of Austin & is perfect for a couple or single adult to clear their heads after a busy week in town. Gaze at the stars over Texas, you can actually see them out here!

The Package Store

Relax at this early 20th century former package store that now nestles among post oaks and pines on our family ranch in Bastrop County. The Package Store was built by my grandfather in the early 1930’s overlooking the Brazos River in the East Texas community of Washington-on-the-Brazos. “Old Washington,” as it is locally known, was the site of the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence from Mexico on March 2, 1836.
