Holiday rentals with a kayak in Jalisco

We stayed for just three short nights in April 2025. Our family of 5 — kids aged between 4 and 8 — had an absolute blast! Staying in Villa Pearl was incredible. Located right next to the pool and directly facing Sunset Island, we made the most of every day and night. The villa is spacious and beautiful, matching the photos perfectly. The infinite pool and open sky made for total relaxation, as did the side entrance to a small beach. There were no bad places to sit — you can tell that the builders thought primarily of the sun's location throughout the day, providing large palapas and multiple sunshades to sit under during the hot hours (crucial for kids), allowing you to pop out for a swim or a beach walk. We are happy to make this a recommendation for similar families with young(ish) kids — the town of La Penita is either a 10-minute walk on the beach (if the tide is low because there is a tricky section to cross) or a 15-20 minute walk via the road system. 5 stars!

El departamento estuvo increíble, se apega a la descripción totalmente. Fuimos con toda mi familia, niños pequeños, adolescentes y adultos y todos disfrutamos enormemente. El servicio de Karina y Raúl (personal de apoyo) nos facilitó muchísimo la estancia. Muy atentos, serviciales y amigables. La ubicación con la alberca, y el mar enfrente no tiene precio. La vista al mar de las habitaciones, es HERMOSA!! Gracias por todo, regresaremos.

Excelente rancho con habitaciones amplias y muy bonitas, la cocina cuenta con todo lo necesario para cocinar. Todo estaba muy limpio y ordenado, las áreas verdes estaban muy bonitas. Un lugar muy hermoso para convivir con la naturaleza en compañía de familia. Muchas gracias por la bienvenida! 😍 súper recomendado. Sin duda volvería a reservar con ustedes!

Great place to relax and enjoy the wonderful view! The house is nice and comfortable. Given the location, the access to the beach is a little tricky, but ok! Spent a week there with the family, everyone had a great time.

La casa está increíble. Es muy espaciosa, limpia, con un diseño hermoso y todo muy cómodo. Nos encantó la alberca, pasamos mucho tiempo ahí, y la atención de los dueños fue excelente, siempre al pendiente y muy amables. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para disfrutar. Lo único que mejoraría es que había algunas hormigas en la cocina, pero fuera de eso, todo estuvo genial. Definitivamente recomendaría este lugar y me encantaría volver.

La casa amarilla fue muy agradable, tenía acceso a la calle para pasar directo a la laguna, y por otro lado pasabas a la alberca y a una zona de jardines muy linda, tienen cuidado de la vegetación, hay personal al pendiente de lo que se necesite. Muy cerca hay varios restaurantes que incluso puedes pedir a domicilio. Me he hospedado en otras opciones y la relacion costo beneficio esta magnífica, menor costo plus de la albercavy de lugares cercanos para comer. Lo único que podría mejorar es la conexión de Internet. Me encanta subir historias y estuvo lento tanto en el cel como en la tv.

Andrea was a great host, she was very nice and very responsive, the home was very peaceful and private. Chelo was so sweet and friendly, the kitty was cute and friendly as well. My family and kids loved our stay and would definitely come back and recommend La Casa Villa!

En el campamento no hay señal para celular pero ni falta que te hace porque hay tanto por hacer y explorar que nunca te aburres. Es la combinación perfecta de estar en contacto con la naturaleza pero con instalaciones y comodidades para que no batalles en nada. Puedes llevar tus alimentos y cuentan con un refri y una cocina común que tiene todooo lo necesario. Cuentan con asadores en distintas áreas y lugares para hacer fogatas. Una sala de juegos de mesa y billar, ping pong, futbolito, etc. Es el lugar ideal para desconectarse del mundo y de lo digital. Definitivamente volveremos.

Honestly one of the most unique and private stays we have ever had. The place was immaculate and beautiful and open to the ocean. It was incredible. We had all surrounding beaches to ourselves our entire stay. The host was helpful in arranging transport and extra groceries for us! Definitely for the adventurous. Jumping out of a boat into waves on arrival, hikes up and down terrain to the beaches (not more than 10 minutes). Just short of an hour hike to town where typical groceries are scarce (so bring what you need). Great restaurant in town and very friendly locals. Be prepared for some extra fees. We paid 200 pesos to cab from PV, 400 pesos to water taxi from Boca to Chonchos, 500 pesos tip at the end of the stay, another 500 for a donkey ride into Chimo to catch the boat back. The locals charge another 100 just to row you out to the taxi and then you pay the same amount to come back into the mainland. I would pay that all again for this incredible experience! Must visit!!

Esta fue la segunda vez que mi familia y yo decidimos hospedarnos en casa de Constanza… ¡y no nos equivocamos! El lugar es una joya escondida en medio de la naturaleza, ideal para desconectarse, recargar energía y compartir tiempo de calidad. La casa es cálida, acogedora y se siente como un verdadero hogar. Todo está pensado con detalle y amor: desde las hamacas bajo los árboles hasta los espacios comunes que invitan a la convivencia y la tranquilidad. Constanza, como siempre, atenta y amorosa. Nos vamos con el corazón contento y con ganas de regresar una tercera vez. ¡Gracias por crear un espacio tan especial!

This Airbnb is an absolute treasure and was our highlight on the trip around puerto Vallarta. The hosts are both amazing and made us feel welcome from the first second we arrived. They were always making sure we had everything we needed. Although we only stayed two nights, we will miss them, it felt like family right away! The cabin: I have no words to describe how beautiful this little home is. It’s paradise, from the little decoration details, to the outdoor kitchen, and the bed (I need this mattress at home!) It was just a dream and we were very sad that we had only booked two nights. Thank you Benito and Chris for offering this beautiful place to people - it is truly a place we will remember forever! A side note: the snorkeling along the rocks in the bay is super beautiful - as a scuba diver I can highly recommend. Lots of pretty fish, we saw an octopus, lots of colourful reef fish and pufferfish alongside other cute fishies that made our days here even better.

Muy bonito el lugar, la cabaña está preciosa y sin duda es para despejarte, lo recomiendo y volvería sin duda.
