Cozy Riverside Apartment with Private Backyard

CarolineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Patrick was welcoming and so helpful. He and his wife have created an oasis. Out the back door is a patio overlooking a River. They have planted beautiful flowers. I sat and watched a hawk the first AM and a chipmunk the second. The apartment is complete and not lacking anything. I’d return in a heartbeat.

Bonnie made it so easy to check in and to use all amenities. She sent clear directions prior to check in that really helped me find the place. The site was beautiful and peaceful. I would definitely go back!

Corn Crib at Graceful Acres Farmstay

MorganRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Staying at the Corn Crib was such an idyllic experience - it was the perfect, dreamlike, home away from home for a long weekend away. As someone who loves camping/glamping and exploring the outdoors, I had a lot of fun cooking on the campfire, walking around the trail, taking a cold shower outside, and sleeping to the sound of the bubbling brook. The farm store was not only a convenience for any odds and ends we needed, but it was fun to see the kinds of local farm goods that were for sale. It was hard to keep myself from buying everything! Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the experience for the price I paid. I would definitely stay again, and hope to!

The apothecary farm stay was the perfect weekend getaway in Vermont. It is located on a quiet plot of land allowing for a peaceful, relaxing stay. The small farmhouse is neat and quaintly decorated. Country setting. The Lane House.

Mary LouRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Skip and Mary were very accommodating, especially when our plane was delayed and we got to the place around midnight. They were friendly to talk with and very nice people. They even worked on some bikes they had to make them rideable for us and we had fun biking around Cambridge, a very cute town. Some caveats: There is a steep full staircase to go down from the bedroom to the bathroom. The a/c units (one upstairs in the loft and the other downstairs) are free standing and noisy, but work fairly well. There isn't a kitchen, just a small microwave and some dishes. No water, you have to use the bathroom to wash dishes. The kitchen is connected to their kitchen so you can hear each other and their dogs which they did try to keep quiet. They have a large jacuzzi in the bathroom but it was difficult and treacherous for an older person to get into to take a shower. Overall, I'd say the house is not geared for older people like us. There is a gorgeous meadow out the window.

Iconic "Kreffer's Crossing" covered bridge cottage

AntonelloRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We spent a wonderful weekend at the Kreffer’s Crossing Covered Bridge Cottage in Sandgate, VT. Crossing the covered bridge feels like entering a peaceful, hidden retreat. The cottage is cozy and well-equipped, with a spacious kitchen, a comfortable main bedroom, and a relaxing living room. The outdoor space is magical—a beautiful porch with hummingbirds, the calming sound of the river, and a fire pit by the water, perfect for roasting marshmallows and unwinding. What truly made our stay unforgettable was Thomas, the host. He is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and always available if you need anything. His warm personality and attention to detail made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. This was our first visit to Vermont, and thanks to Thomas and his beautiful cottage, it won’t be the last. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return!
