We stayed here while visiting family in the area, and it was a perfect place to unwind each evening. Everything was as described, and we had plenty of space to spread out. The beds were very comfortable, and the place was squeaky clean!

Vickie's home was an amazing place to stay during our trip to Galena. The home was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. It was close to restaurants. We enjoyed sitting out on the peaceful porch, and it was great that we could bring our dog. Vickie is a wonderful host, and we would stay here again!

This house is a hidden gem! Absolutely beautiful inside, every room was comfortable, well-appointed, and filled with details that made us feel like we were in a five star property. The kitchen is fully modern and everything in the house has been redone. Bedrooms are huge! Bathrooms are new and spotless. The linens are upscale, and I really can't think of anything that was not up to expectations. It really was perfect and Joshua's communication and attention to detail were noted and appreciated. We will certainly return!

She was an amazing hostess. The house was extremly clean. Friendly and quick communication, kept available for any and all needs. House had essentials and a couple family games as well. Will definitely recommend and return on future trips!

We loved our stay here! The house is huge and there are so many great amenities that make this an amazing value. We made use of the theater room, game room, hot tub, and the pickleball and basketball court outside. The setting is beautiful and private - surrounded by big trees and right next to a sprawling golf course. The location is good, although I do wish it was slightly closer to the downtown area since we went back and forth a lot and it's about 40 minutes round trip each time. But it was worth it for the privacy of the location and the quietness that it afforded. We loved our visit and would happily return!

Perfect stay for our girls’ getaway! We stayed here to celebrate our bride-to-be, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The place was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was amazing—just a short distance from the shops in Galena, which made exploring so easy. Robert's place was fantastically decorated and had all the comforts of home. The home was so clean and inviting and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maquoketa is such a friendly town and the location of the home allowed us to walk to restaurants and activities with our kids. Great deck and backyard as well. The beds were very comfortable and my kids loved that each bedroom had a TV. The home was so unique and we loved the character and charm of an old house with all the upgrades as well. This home looks just like the photos and was very nice! The location is perfect for walking to places to eat. There are lots of places to explore within a 20 mile radius. The neighborhood is quiet for being right in town. There was some traffic noise but it was just neighbors coming and going. We would definitely stay here again!

This was my fourth time staying at Sandys and each time is just as enjoyable as the last. Her new wallpaper in the kitchen, bedrooms, and master bath are beautiful. She has a real knack for decor. She's always super helpful, kind, and her breakfasts dont disappoint! If you're looking to relax in a peaceful setting, but still be close to downtown Galena, this is THE place to stay.

We have really enjoyed our stays & in a few weeks will be staying for the third time since April. It feels like home away from home and we could tell a lot of thought went into the small details.

This condo is perfect for a little getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The bed was comfortable! The jet tub was relaxing and perfect for 2 people! Downfall is that the shower head is VERY small and there’s a weird clunking behind the toilet, in the plumbing.

This was our second time staying at the Pearl Loft and my wife and I felt very comfortable. The loft is very clean, the bed very comfortable, and the view of the sunrise over the Mississippi is breathtaking. Anytime we will be traveling through the area, we know the best place to stay!

I was a solo traveler returning to my hometown area to see family and friends and this was the perfect place to return to both nights! Tastefully decorated and very spacious. Very comfortable bed. Appreciated the little thoughtful touches like a basket with snacks, blackout curtains and plenty of outlets throughout. Easy to walk to several restaurants and a brewery. Only negative is the street noise as it is right on the main intersection downtown and some large/loud trucks rumble past but that's the tradeoff for the convenience of the location so I didn't mind. I will definitely be back!

This place was absolutely B.E.A.U.T.F.U.L! The staff were super sweet and friendly. So many things to do at Galena. Also, there was a table with “to do activities” That was very helpful. I would 100% come back. Thank you all staff for being such a good host.

Jan was great!! The place messed up our room but she did her best to make it right. We appreciate her attention and her desire to fix the situation.

Jan’s condo is a perfect location for galena. It’s not far from downtown or Eagle Ridge. It’s like the comfort of home without being home.

The view from this apartment is everything you would want. The river is right there! We spent many hours on the balcony, watching the joggers and walkers on the path, watching the barges and tugs. Inside, the unit is just perfect. I wouldn't change a thing.

Great place to stay while visiting Galena especially if you plan on golfing at Eagle Ridge!

A great place to stay that was about 20 minutes to chestnut and 15 minutes to Galena. Fireplace makes for a nice touch when it’s snowy and cold outside
