Excellent weekend stay! The place is peaceful, and the location on the Mississippi doesn't disappoint. It was so entertaining to watch the tugs and barges navigate the bridge out front. Wonderful fenced-in yard for our dog. Sabula is a quirky island, fun to walk around and discover. Thank you, Peggy!

This place is an absolute gem! You’re staying right on the Mississippi, a little ways from town, but not too far. It is absolutely gorgeous to wake up next to the water and Laura was AMAZING! Definitely going to be looking to stay again

We had a great time at this location. Our host, Margaret was extremely helpful and welcoming. The house and the property were beautiful and what we were looking for. We had plenty of space for our family to celebrate the holidays. Margaret was very responsive and kind when we had any questions. She even brought a family member's lost coat to the house when a business called her about it. She went above and beyond. I definitely recommend this property and the host.

My husband and I with our 4 kids and 2 inlaws had plenty of space to move around and still have private sleeping quarters. we would recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit this area. Also had easy and great communication with host. wendi

My friends and i had an amazing time! The house was very clean! We’re a busy bunch and there was so much for us to do at the house! The location was perfect everything around us was no longer than 10 mins. Lisa was very kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Would definitely stay again it was a blast!

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean. The home was spacious. Pond was nice for fishing and a very peaceful place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. We would like to rent again next year.

Our second time at this property. Love that each bedroom has a bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Lots of towels in bathrooms. Very quiet at night. Nice you added a coffee bar and huge sectional in living room Highly recommend this property. House while spacious is also very comfortable.

This is our second year here and we can’t wait to be back. It’s a beautiful, peaceful area with privacy from other lodging. Steve checks in to make sure everything was going okay, he was friendly and helpful.

We came to sleep! The train was expected. It woke me up but I wasn’t surprised. Comfortable beds. Me and the kids loved walking to the lock and dam to watch the action! Also the one block walk to be on the Mississippi’s edge was nice. The kids skipped rocks. Game shelf and cards were played with (no regular deck that we found only pinochle deck). Every thing was as described.

Beautiful cabin near restaurants, and close to many attractions. Perfect for our group.

This place is a beautiful little getaway. Right up the road from the river, it is peaceful and quiet. Lots of fun architecture to see in town and the river walk is lovely. Our dogs were welcomed which made the trip 10x more enjoyable. The house is cozy, warm and feels very much like home. Sue has an entry table in the home with suggestions for local activities, eateries, shopping which was nice to refer to. Overall we were happy with the space. It was nice to know that Sue was in the house next door for questions, but she very much provided privacy unlike some places I’ve stayed. I highly recommend!

This place was beautiful. Very peaceful. It was nice that the owner stopped by and talked and introduced himself.

My husband and I had a great stay at the tiny home! Even on a weekend when the weather didn’t cooperate, the home was equipped with games, a tv with streaming services, and lots of local shops and restaurants nearby. The views were amazing and the hot tub was the cherry on top. We would love to book another stay in the future and will recommend it highly to friends!

Your place was so Retro!! We loved it !! Needs a fire pit and more outside backyard chairs. We really enjoyed the town and loved the view of the Mississippi River. The park across the street was amazing!!! We had the other guests from the other unit walk into our unit 2 times while we were there.

I really loved how cute these loft cabins were. I appreciated the view and the convenience of having a place so close to the palisades. The price was solid too. I'm thankful for the dogs being able to stay with us in the cabin.
