With it’s rustic charm, laid-back vibe, and being dotted amongst lush greenery, it almost feels like you could be staying in a treehouse. Villa Yumigahama is located just a minute’s walk from the picturesque Yumigahama beach, which has been designated one of Japan’s 100 most beautiful beaches. Our cottages open onto spacious terraces ideal for that BBQ,pizza oven. under the stars, whilst listening to the sound of the waves.

Private 5 min walk to Shirahama beach, BBQ, Deck

This house is a traditional 20 year old Japanese house. It is totally private as it's surrounded by trees. There is a walkway 5 minutes down to Shirahama Beach which is arguably one of the nicest beaches in Japan. We have added a large deck to the house for outdoor living. The bedrooms are very traditional Japanese. The kitchen is large and easy to use. We have a coffee machine, rice cooker, screen with HDMI chord (adapter needed for your device) and blue tooth speaker for your use.

The huge living/dining entertaining it great for home cooking, hosting large BBQ/Dinner parties. The interior is "modern beach pop" making you enjoy your stay in a house that matches the beautiful beaches of Shimoda. Pool table, Large TV, Bose sound system, Apple TV, Netflix Outside, private deck with sofas and Weber Charcoal BBQ.
