Use it as a base for sightseeing Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival venue is 3 minutes by car It is used by backpackers, young surfers, workers, etc. on solo trips, There are two family baths in a minsu, and it is a natural hot spring, so it warms up to the core of the body. The room will be 6 tatami mats, it can accommodate up to 4 people, but please note that if you lay 4 futons, the room will be full, it is basically for 2 people. The view from the room is also bad, so the price is set cheaply, thank you. Thanks for your hospitality!I used it for my graduation trip with college sync, but I relaxed without worrying about other guests! There is also a BBQ on the nice kitchen terrace, and I am very satisfied! The space like Europe is also very cute and we would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing time visiting Shimoda. We are from Southwestern Virginia and this was our first time in Japan. Our host helped us feel welcome and was patient with all of our questions. The room was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. Our host suggested a resturant that was within walking distance. It had amazing food and the people were so kind. The spot is also very close to a beautiful beach.

Meiqin’s B&B is very charming with a lovely communal area and onsen. It has a great view of the lake and is a short walk to town/the cable car/ pirate ship. Meiqin offered complementary shuttles to/from the bus stop as well as the restaurant for dinner, which was so helpful! Unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to a medical issue, which Meiqin very generously offered to refund (which we did not expect at all given the late notice). We had a great stay, thanks Meiqin!

Very clean and tidy room, very good view outside the window, the house is also very distinctive, the private hot spring is very comfortable, slept well, the two hosts are warm and hospitable, providing us with food recommendations and travel guides.

If you are concerned about the lack of reviews like I was before then theres no need to worry! This hotel room was the best airbnb I’ve been at before. However, would only recommend if you have a car. The room was brand new. Complimentary wine bottle, beers and snacks. Spacious, luxurious and modern. Warm foot bath on the balcony with a view (not breathtaking but a view nonetheless). Massive bath and toilet, with hotspring bath with adjustable water heat. And a sauna (although we didnt get to use)! Free parking with plenty of spaces. Self-check in easily. Only regret was not spending more time there. Although it is on the more expensive side being a hotel, definitely worth it to wind down from the hustle and bustle of the city.

A great, very nice host family. Maki's breakfast was very tasty and the onsen a great relaxation in the evening. Maki's husband even drove us to the train station on the last day, very nice! A beautiful ryokan!

We had the most amazing time at Rakuten. The place is very comfortable and beautiful. As Japanese do, details of the room well thought out. In particular we love having our own onsen in the room and our own private cinema. We’ve certainly made the most out of it. Price is slightly on the pricey side but certainly worth the private experience. Cannot recommend it more!
