Great house. We loved the walk to the sea. Very scenic.

As an extremely picky traveler, I HIGHLY recommend The Cheese Loft. The pictures simply do not do it justice. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the area, it’s clean & quiet, Ewan and Leslie could not be more friendly and accommodating, and their 2 dogs and cat are the sweetest pets ever. To top it all off, Dunnad Fort is literally next door, offering stunning 360 views of the landscape. I felt at home and didn’t want to leave. Fresh eggs from their chickens was an added bonus!

What a wonderful place. I have been coming to the island since I was a boy and this was the first year I could bring my own child to enjoy the most magical place. The house is perfect. A stunning location, clean, warm and spacious. We had a wonderful week and made some truly special memories. We will return!

Charming home oozing with history and character. The comfortable furnishings made for a cozy stay, and we loved the authentic touches throughout. Watching the lambs graze around the property was such a delightful experience—truly a peaceful and picturesque retreat. Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape to a charming, rural setting with a touch of history.

My husband and I had an excellent stay at Skye cottage. The views over Church Bay are spectacular and the cottage itself is very clean, cosy, and the beds are really comfy. Alan and Hilary are excellent hosts. Hilary contacted us before our stay to inform us what would be open on the island, and Alan gave us a lift up to the house once we arrived. They provided recommendations for wildlife viewing across the island and were very informative and passionate about Rathlin. We unfortunately didn't get great weather during our stay, but we still had a great time and will definitely be back.

Wonderfully comfortable house in a magical spot by a loch. Great for a family group with a big kitchen and sitting room. Lots of space for everyone.

We had a lovely stay in Gigha, beautiful beaches, great cycling, lots of wildlife and friendly community. It’s a special Island to make lots of memories. Kate’s house is ideally located near the local store, cafe & restaurant & easy access to the whole of the island. The house is great with everything you need for a relaxing holiday….. we didn’t want to leave! Many thanks to Kate & Nicola.

We had an amazing stay at the Doll's House. Marie & Ellis are lovely hosts and we instantly felt right at home. The cottage is the perfect size, with a lovely view from living room and front porch. The kitchen is well stocked which is sometimes a rarity with Airbnb. Located close to the Gigha ferry it's a perfect spot to explore the rest of Kintyre. Highly recommended and we hope to return soon.

Had a lovely stay, with amazing weather. Beautiful and well equipped, which was above and beyond, cottage, stunning views. Very relaxing. Ideal for exploring the area. Friendly and helpful host. Hopefully will be back one day.

Lea’s place is great. I am an Airb&b user and her place was one of the best. Very clean and organised. Large apartment near the city centre. All the instructions you need easy to understand and free on street parking. I would give her 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if they would be available. If you want to book the place, just do it! Would highly recommend Beach view cottage. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The location is also ideal for staying on the beautiful island of Gigha - an easy short walk to the beach, Achamore gardens or for a drink at The Boathouse. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This beautiful home is right at the heart of Kilmartin village so perfect for exploring this amazing region. The house is really exceptional: comfortable, stylish and with just about the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen in an airbnb property. Highly recommended.

David and Clare’s “The Drum” is a real gem! It was the perfect sanctuary for us to relax and unwind for 6 days. We enjoyed their supper club (exquisite, fine dining) (the best) by Clare and perfectly hosted by David. We loved swimming in the Loch opposite through the golden gate, lighting fires in the evenings. And the incredible silence. Peace. Beautiful experience. Check out the Crinan canal and go for lunch in Crinan. Spectacular views. Take a short cruise up the canal. Thank you so much.

What a wonderful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ederline Farm. The cottage and surroundings were beautiful. A real home away from home feel. Willa was a wonderful host and the kayaking on the Loch was one of our favourite activities to do. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful holiday, we are already looking to plan a return visit!

Had an amazing time in the Rusty hut. Everything was exactly as described and Pi's directions were very helpful in finding the place. Super cozy inside with the wood fireplace and an absolutely tranquil back garden where we could watch the birds at the feeders. A short drive from the main town, so easy to get to and from the ferry. Will definitely stay here again!

Amazing place to stay with lots to see in the local area.

This is a lovely house in a fantastic location. Most rooms had brilliant views over to Arran. There was loads of room for all the guests and it felt very safe for the young kids we had with us. It was a very peaceful stay, we would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Staying at the bluebell cabin was lovely. The place was super clean, warm and inviting, and the space was better than the photos online. As I was travelling for work, I wasn’t able to check in until late at night this was no issue and Karen was very accommodating and was quick at responding every time I messaged . I also was travelling with a Work van and she allowed me to park on her private driveway to ensure I could park the van overnight . In the mornings Karen pops over for a chat which was so lovely and it’s just that little bit for of a personal touch with her customers. The cabin smelled amazing and she even shared which scent of air freshener she used LOL. Even though on that occasion I was travelling for work I still enjoyed my stay however I will be back next year to stay leisurely at the cabins. I would highly recommend this place!

Karen's tiny house property was fantastic and made a good base to explore the area around Port Ellen, while being out of the way and not too busy. Karen was very friendly and helpful throughout. The only downside was the bed being, due to space constraints, a mattress on the floor and not very comfortable which made it hard to sleep. A floor bed frame would make this tiny house a perfect Islay getaway.

Absolutely stunning place to stay! Me and my partner booked two nights at The Barn for my 30th Birthday. Catherine’s instructions on how to find the property was spot on! We loved sitting outside and listening to the surroundings. The sea view was lovely to look out on to! On arrival the property was spotless & wood was ready for us to use the hot tub! The handbook was very helpful on things to do in the area & how to start up the hot tub! You wouldn’t think you were on a working farm, we heard nothing & felt so private. Travelling from North Yorkshire was definitely worth it!!! We will be back again!

We couldn’t have picked a better place to finish our week exploring Islay and Jura. The cottage is an absolute dream. A mixture of back to basics and quality amenities. Located a 10 minute drive from Craighouse but also with great walks straight from the door. The paps right on your doorstep gave us the most magical sunset sight. Rain or sun whatever the weather Jura wears it well. And Mrs Leonard’s cottage is the perfect place to come back to and either warm up in front of the fire or sip a wine or a touch of the hard stuff in the garden. I hope we will be back
