Come down the long private drive along the pasture to the little cottage perched on the banks of the river, surrounded by large oak trees. This past weekend, my partner and I celebrated our wedding and needed a welcoming space to host my adult children, their families, and one of our officiants. The Pearly Oyster proved to be the perfect choice. From the moment they arrived, they were captivated by the home's thoughtful layout, breathtaking views, immaculate cleanliness, and the delightful abundance of board games. Lindsay and Randy’s communication was impeccable—keeping me informed every step of the way, allowing me to seamlessly update my group without ever needing to follow up. I cannot recommend The Pearly Oyster highly enough—an exceptional experience all around.

We stay in about 3-4 Owner rented properties a year for the last 14 years and I can honestly say that this home is one of the most beautiful I have stayed in. It had been impeccily renovated and updated. It is beautifully decorated. It feels so clean, spacious and warm. The house is well maintained and appointed. Kelli is extremely responsive. I highly recommend.

The house was in immaculate shape with all the necessities provided, all furnishings/appliances were new and the beds were comfortable. The pool and view was outstanding. Three different cooling zones kept the house cool. The dock was really nice. The pool was really large and very nice. What we liked: My daughter said she really liked the big dining room eating and looking out at the pool and the water. One son said hes bringing the boat next time. Another son said the bay location was exceptional. The son in law said the dock was awesome and he could have spent all the time there. My two daughter in laws and Wife said the interior was so comfortable and the pool was great. I like it all, the house was the nicest rental house I have stayed in over the last 40 yrs, the furnishings, the beds, pool and the Dock made it a wonderful place to stay. It was obvious to me that the owners truly care about their rental and they want you to have a nice stay. This is a really nice!

Talk about being sad 😢to leave! Sometimes a location for an air BnB just hits it out of the park, and this is a great example. We LOVED our stay and took advantage of the yard and beautiful view daily! We fished off the dock and shore. Tip, since it is tidal water as long as you are on the shore or dock you don’t need a fishing license. Our pups loved the yard and going for a swim. There are a lot of great places to eat within a 30min drive. We were on a work trip, but would love to come back when we could take advantage of everything this place has to offer. It’s a gem! The surrounding area is fun to explore if you like antiques and boutiques. We loved the local vibe! You will have a great time.

What an incredible home! The setting was magical and the space has everything you need. The kitchen is so well stocked and there are so many thoughtful touches. Rolled beach towels in baskets, helpful signs, kayaks, cheese boards…. We had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend!
