What an absolutely lovely place! The home was perfect for our group and located close to town. The house was incredibly comfortable for everyone with plenty of space. Very clean as well! I would definitely stay again.

The view and roperty were amazing and we really enjoyed the first 1/3 of our honeymoon when we spent a week at this lake side beauty. You have a beautiful fire pit and can watch the lake or the sunsets and it is absolutely breathtaking and that alone is worth the price of admission. We went and visited the black river Harbour waterfalls and they were amazing. Quite a hike but worth it. Bond Falls south of town is the best one we went too by far. However, alot of the restaurants and activities that were recommendations in the book were either closed temporarily, permanently or only open THUR-SUN. The town of Ironwood, during the summer, does not have many options. Also, the is no wifi and no cell service for the most part. Be ready for board games and fires which kept us entertained. All in all we had a great time and would recommend googling the activities around before you go to make sure they are open.

For just a quick one night stay this had everything we needed! Convenient, clean and especially liked the shower. The description is very accurate about the stairs. I was a bit surprised that there was detailing going on even on a Sunday morning but that is mentioned in the description too, not super noisy but noticeable once we were up and around. We used both beds and the futon one is not as comfortable as the big bed, not a big deal for a short stay. WiFi worked great!

Beautiful, remote home. The generator allowed us access to WiFi as needed but also gave a great “off grid” experience. We had our three kids there (2 months, 3.5 years, and 16 years) and it worked perfect for our needs!

Very nice apartment and Yan was friendly and easy to work with. We’ve had some unseasonably hot weather this week and the AC unit hadn’t yet been installed for the season. Yan cheerfully brought a large tower fan that cooled the place down well. I will book again for my next visit to Ironwood.

This old farmhouse was just what my friend and I needed to get away for a girls weekend. Secluded and full of birds, deer, HUGE woodpeckers…Close driving distance to the famous Little Girls Point. Public Service Announcement: Do NOT attempt driving down Powers Road further than the farmhouse in the spring! It is dangerously muddy! I thought we were goners! LOL

Sundance at Little Girl's Point

We had a wonderful time at Donna's place. It was easy to find and check-in was simple. The house was beautifully decorated with Native American and Celtic decor, dried arrangements which Donna herself made, and local finds of rocks and driftwood. It was homey and welcoming. If you are big into the internet then this might not be the place for you as signal is spotty across the UP but this is what we wanted- to get away from it all. Even the neighbors are all super nice and helpful with anything that you need. The views from Lake Superior are FANTASTIC with Little Girl's Point just a 1/4 mile walk down the road. Its a rock picker, yooperlite extravaganza and agates can be found as well. We just enjoyed the waves, the sky, the peace and Saxon Harbor beach is also close if you'd like a more sandy type beach. Donna is very nice, quick to respond and helpful with whatever you need. We definitely would love to come back again.
