Great house close to Salzburg

The stay was very nice. Pauline is a very friendly and nice hostess. The apartment was clean and had everything you need (as described), even a walk-in closet. The bathroom is modern. In 10 minutes on foot you can reach two supermarkets, a bakery, a snack bar with pizza, kebab etc. and an Asian restaurant. Munich is about 30 minutes away by car. I highly recommend a stay with Pauline and will certainly be a guest with Pauline again in the future.

We had a very nice stay. The tiny house is cozy and very clean. Everything was super equipped, so that the most important utensils were there for cooking. The communication was also great and our questions were answered quickly. Gladly again!

Our stay in the mouse nest on the Rupertiblick farm met and even exceeded our expectations. The converted circus wagon is really beautifully decorated and we felt very comfortable in the four days. In addition, Rupert and Monika were very friendly, uncomplicated and accommodating. We are already thinking about when and how we can come back.

Rustic, cozy accommodation in an idyllic location Communication with host David always worked very well! Arriving in Surberg, we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. Particularly beautiful was the lovingly planted garden (which we could use in parts) and the balcony with alpine panorama - perfect for a small breakfast! A quiet, peaceful, comfortable cottage near a small farm, the place has a lot of charm and a rustic feel to it. You can see the Austrian alps from the living room window. We felt very safe and secluded here, and there’s ample room for 1-2 cars. Josef and Helga, our hosts, made us feel very welcome right from the start. The village is walkable, and offers a couple of restaurants and a live theatre, and is less than 1/2 hour drive from Salzburg and all that this lovely, historical city has to offer. Whether your interests are hiking, history, museums, castles or even a 500 year old salt mine, this home in Holzhausen is a great place to stay.

Perfect location for our stay in Salzburg. Great house, nice and clean. Ray was very helpful with recommendations. Easy to get around on public transport from the house. We had a great time in Salzburg!

We had a lovely time at Carmen's home It's easy to get the bus to city center which is just 10m ride away.

Very friendly hosts, great and very quiet location in nature. The apartment was clean and well equipped, but sometimes somewhat outdated (TV not smart, i.e. no Prime, etc.), the sofa should be replaced. If it doesn't bother you but still a clear recommendation and we would come back again. A few points are incorrect in the description (no oven available, no washing machine - we were still allowed to use the host's machine). In addition to the hospitality, the details, such as a small plate of homemade cookies, also fit to welcome you. For us, the wallbox was very convenient (fair billing at €0.55/kWh), so our electric car could always charge at night.

We had a fantastic stay at Christina’s place. It was an easy walk or ride on the hotel shuttle from the parking area and we were given very clear instructions for check in. Christina was a very responsive host. The apartment was so cute and comfortable and the view was even better than in photos. We loved our visit to the Hallstatt area and would not hesitate to stay at Christina’s place if we returned. Thank you!!

We were at Heidi's a week ago and had a great stay. The apartment is quietly located, super and stylishly furnished, clean and has everything you need with children. The surroundings are fantastic. The children especially liked the in-house chickens and rabbits. :) Heidi is wonderful in communication and a great hostess. On the next trip to Italy, we will gladly stop by Heidi's again. Christian was very friendly. He greeted us when we arrived and spent time showing us the suite, and checked in with us when we left as well. Good communication and very accommodating. The suite was cozy, felt like home, and very spacious with everything you need. The location is peaceful and the view of Salzburg from the balcony is picturesque!

5/5 stars! This place is an absolute secret for anyone passing through! It is clean, nicely decorated and has great amenities. But what really makes it special is the proximity to the Bärengnadenhof - an absolute highlight! Perfect for one to two nights. We will be happy to come back :)

Absolutely the nicest apartment that we’ve been to. Has a really nice view. But the thing is, the apartment has a veranda with a ceiling. We spent a lot of time there, also when it was raining. We ate breakfast there. We could see the view without the interference of a window. It was something. Birgit the host was fluent in English. This is not the case always with an Austrian host. In summary, this apartment was a true find. Could be the best deal in Flachau

I had a wonderful stay at the penthouse in Obertraun/Hallstatt. Everything was just as pictured—if not even better. The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. Andrea was very responsive and helpful whenever I had questions, which made the whole experience even smoother. I felt completely safe and at ease throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday getaway.

Holger was very communicative before we arrived and was sure to find out how best to prepare for our arrival. The home was spacious and so clean for 5 of us. He had a Nespresso machine filled and ready for us. We loved the place!

Wonderful, responsive hostess. Bea’s apartment is cozy and chic. Apartment was clean and well equipped for our 9 day stay. Bed was comfortable. The apartment is in a private home, situated in a peaceful neighborhood. Wonderful views of the mountains. Salzburg is a quaint town where the locals are friendly and the surroundings mountains are magnificent and the nearby lakes are emerald green. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This apartment was spacious and within 20 minutes walk of historic Salzburg. A bus stop is conveniently located across the street. We appreciated Gregor’s responsiveness to our questions. We had the opportunity to meet his parents and found them to be lovely people. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and coffee. We would stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at Nora & Peter's property recently. The apartment looks even better than the photos and the view is absolutely breathtaking. We have enjoyed our tea in the balcony watching beautiful sunsets. The apartment is very well equipped and very thoughtful designed by the hosts. Everything is exceptionally clean . The kitchen was also very well stocked which was helpful for us to make meals occasionally. We also were in love with this town, loved to walk by the lake. Its so peaceful. In the summers, this lake is filled with water activities, swimming etc. There is a small convenient store 2 min down the road. Nora and Peter were constantly in touch with us and were very helpful from the start to the end. This is one of the best properties we have lived in and Nora & Peter are absolutely the best hosts which made our stay so memorable. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
