The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

A fantastic week spent at Otters Den. Max is a great host, the house is absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean & everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The pool , games room & petting area is a fantastic addition & kept my family entertained for the week. We didn’t venture out much as we wanted to have a relaxing week but the walks we did go on where beautiful. Max & his family are such kind hosts with the little extra touches, late check out on Easter Sunday, an egg hunt for the kids with chocolate eggs being delivered to our door, supplying us with fresh eggs & topped us up with fire wood when needed ! Communication was great, Max always replied to us within the hour. I would highly recommend Otters Den

place was as described, access was a little tight, which is the only slight negative. Owners were brilliant, could not rate then high enough. Nothing was too much trouble for them. pool was warmish even though cool and windy outside, lovely and clean. I had use of the electric charger overnight to charge car up for journey home, cost was very reasonable. Was a great base for Saunton sands, Woolacombe and Croyde. 5 out of 5 for this place, 12 outfit 10 for the owners

The place was spotless and well maintained. Beautiful location with a route to walk/ trek nearby too. We had a great time during the stay.

Katherine and Tino’s place was just like the pictures but better. It had lots of little extras like children’s toys, books, high chair and cot making travelling with (slightly!) less clutter so much more helpful. They responded to all questions before and during the stay super quickly. The pool on site was an added bonus and booking system easy to use. Although there were quite a few houses, it seemed very quiet and private when we were there.

Epic views and surroundings at The North Hill Cottages. The friendly host family has an amazing spot the perfectly situated property lifts you high above the world to a place of tranquil peace and beauty. The cottage was perfect for us and the property offered as much or as little as we wanted to do. The hosts were responsive and available, the other guests were respectable and friendly as well. Highly recommended!

The place was absolutely lovely, clean, bright and cosy! Everything we needed was there, the bed was comfy and I had such a good nights sleep. The shower was lovely! Next time I head to Devon to see my family, I most certainly will be booking again. The hosts were very responsive and checked to make sure I had checked in ok and to see if everything was ok. Had no trouble parking. The hosts left a packet of biscuits on the table for us, which happened to be my favourite biscuits so enjoyed them dunked in my morning cuppa whilst looking at the stunning view! Very much appreciated and added to our lovely stay.

A beautiful cottage only a stones throw from the quay. Fabulous lounge with log burner, a beautiful private garden and everything you need for a weekend or week away. Great communication from our hosts with flexibility on arrival time and a lovely welcome. Thanks for a fantastic weekend!

We had the most wonderful week at Jon’s place and absolutely fell in love with it and the area!!! Jon communicated brilliantly with us throughout our stay and we felt help and advice was on hand if we needed it! Us and the dog settled in immediately and we felt it was like home from home from the start! The cottage is extremely spacious and very comfortable. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and the beds were extremely comfortable! Gorgeous gardens too! For me it was the kitchen! We didn’t want to eat out as we do enough of that in London so to have a fully kitted out kitchen was fantastic! They have thought about everything!!! It was so peaceful in the cottage - the dog hardly barked the whole week! I walked quite a bit and the stunning putsborough beach was a lovely walk (less than 10mins)or if I’d prefer less than 3 minute drive where the dog had endless hours of fun! It is dog friendly all year! I cannot recommend jons place enough! It was utter perfection!

Southerly is a beautiful house, with great dog safe grounds and everything you could possibly need for a stress free stay. The beds are really comfortable and the linen is fresh and clean. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. The living areas are large and uncrowded with comfortable sofas and an enormous dining table. It is the best equipped kitchen we have ever had in an Airbnb property! The garden was attractive and well furnished with loungers, table and chairs, bbq and sofa and table. Janice and Leigh were welcoming hosts who always responded promptly to any queries from the moment we booked until the moment we left the house. The recent acquisition of an EV charger was the ultimate accessory! Thank you Janice and Leigh.

Had a wonderful stay at the Hayloft and enjoyed several amazing meals out at places Lucy recommended. We loved the outdoor bath and spending time relaxing in the deck chairs on the little terrace. This area was also perfect for drying our wetsuits after surfing at Westward Ho! With Westward Waves surf school! The wet room bathroom was fab and there was plenty of room and storage in the house. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend to our friends!

We had a great time staying at the Old School house. The house was clean and well equipped to a high spec. The bathrooms seemed to have been very recently refurbished and the living areas were large and airy. Yhe kitchen was very well equipped with lots of preparation space.

I booked this accommodation on behalf of colleagues working in the area, and it turned out to be a great fit. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout the booking and stay. My colleagues were very happy with the experience, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a reliable and pleasant stay in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay in Appledore. The house was a great base, and was home from home. The house was well equipped with everything that we needed. Comfortable beds. No parking at the property, but we always managed to find somewhere. Parking for 24 hours in the car park was £5.50. Dog towels, bed and bowl was a nice touch. 😊 We had a lovely meal at the Flame Factory, and would recommend to others. We received a warm welcome in any of the pubs/ restaurants that we visited, and many had live music on different nights. We would return again.

Well what can I say. Holly & Oliver are absolutely brilliant. Very kind and got back to me messages quickly. The house was absolutely spotless. probably the cleanest Air b&b ive stayed in. The house had absolutely everything you needed. And also very sweet gift in the fridge. We will be staying again, and have recommended the place to family and friends 🧡

We had a fabulous half-term week at Snookers. Very spacious, clean and tidy - perfect for our family of five. Sarah was very helpful and informative - responding within minutes! Location was ideal as a short walk to the quay and town where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants, booking recommended. Our favourites were The Beaver Inn and Flames. There is also a ferry service to Instow which was great fun and the food at The Instow Arms was amazing. Appledore was a lovely little coastal village from which to explore North Devon. We will be back!

Perfect accommodation in a fantastic location with great views over the Atlantic ocean. Watching the sea whilst enjoying a glass of wine in the hot tub, after a long day exploring this beautiful area was just perfect. The host, Sharon, checked in on us via a message to make sure everything was OK We visited Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Bude during our stay and this holiday was made all the better in that the sun shone down on us all week. 🌞🌞☀️☀️🥂👍👍

We had a wonderful stay at the cosy cottage. The first hours unfortunately were quite cold, because the house wasn’t heated when we arrived. But we escaped into the warm jacuzzi :) When the house was warmed up it was perfect. The surroundings are beautiful, you can do great walks in and around Lee. We totally recommend it!

Luke is a fabulous host! Not only is the cottage idyllic, peaceful and charming, but Luke left us some goodies for our arrival. These included a bottle of fizz, some delicious bread and eggs from the chickens he keeps on his small holding. There was loads of good recommendations for walks and activities within the cottage and Luke trod a wonderful balance between giving us our space and being there to offer advice and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside!

Beautiful views, nice walk down to the beach, restaurants and a range of things by the beach. House was clean and perfect for a trip away for 8 of us.

Cracking little find and something different with an upside down house . House was lovely and clean and for the first time staying in Croyde, we had water pressure for the shower .YAH THUMBS UP FROM THE TEENAGER .BIG WOOF Caroline and Richard were very response hosts and very kind. Was nice being away from the noise of the thatch and being a noisey neighbour looking at people in the camp site. back in Croyde In 3 weeks ,so let's see if it's free again. BIg woof from my dog,as even had bunnies In the garden to chase.

We had such a lovely stay. Plenty of space. Great location, 15 minute walk to the beach and a shop. House was clean and had everything we needed. Jilly was a great host.
