Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Indiana Dunes National Park

My wife and I have stayed at many vacation home rentals over the years, this one was one of the very best! First, I booked they house late afternoon on the day we wanted to arrive. Sarah responded immediately, accepted our booking and got me the access code to the property. It was all done within a few minutes! The house was beautifully decorated (my wife loved it and she is a designer!), well appointed and located very conveniently to all of the places we wanted to spend our time. We loved the hot tub, used the sauna almost every morning and our Golden Doodle loved the big fenced in back yard. Sarah and Brady are unbelievably responsive to needs too! One evening we wanted to enjoy the fire pit, but they were out of fire starters. I contacted Sarah at 7:36p, she responded at 7:37p and by 7:51 Brandy had already dropped a box of fire starters on the front porch! What?!?!?! Amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this place, we will be back!

This is our second stay in this home. Quaint, clean, and in the heart of New Buffalo. We loved that our dog could join us! Plenty of towels, linens, cleaning supplies, and amenities that made our stay comfortable. I highly recommend!

I rented Leah's home for my son's. They love to fish and Leah's home was the perfect place. They enjoyed the pontoon boat and sitting around the bonfire. The house was clean and kitchen equipped with everything needed for their weekend of grilling. Leah was a perfect host. Thank you, Michelle

I am still going to give a 5 star review regardless of a couple issues we had. First of all the house, amenities, and outside area are excellent and as described. The location feels very private and it is what we were looking for. We had 3 total issues during our stay, and 2/3 minimum were outside of the owner's control. During our drive in the Benton Harbor area had 60-70mph straight line winds that blew the outside furniture into the driveway. This storm also caused water to bypass a window and get the floor a bit dirty. Owners drove out early next morning and replaced outdoor furniture and I wiped up the water in the house. In the morning we realized the hot water was out. Owners immediately drove back out and investigated. They happened to have a property that was vacant at the time, and gave us access to it to drive there and shower. Overall communication and response was excellent. Owners made us whole, and I would recommend.

We had a girl’s getaway weekend at this lake house . We needed a place to simply relax and unwind, and Polly’s place provided just that. It is in a very peaceful location. We all enjoyed having our coffee/tea in the sunroom in the morning while listening to the birds. A couple of questions came up during our stay, and Polly and Jack were responsive and helpful. Polly even came over to be our photographer when we had an idea for some pictures on the staircase. She was a great sport. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the home was spotless. The fire-pit area and access to firewood was great . If there was any suggestion I could share, it would be to devise an easier way to utilize the paddle boat. We didn’t attempt it, because we don’t believe we could have got it in and out of the lake easily. Other than that, we had a great weekend. I would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Perfect stay for two families. Lots of room and convenient to all the spots in New Buffalo!m. Will definitely be back!

Katie & Micah's place is STUNNING! The location can't be beat - walkable to the beach and right in the heart of the Indiana Dunes National Park. We were traveling with a baby in tow, and their place was so well equipped for us! We took advantage of the outdoor activities when our little one was awake, and played games and hit the rooftop sauna while our daughter slept. This Miller Beach home is one of the best Airbnb's we've ever visited. If you're staying in the area, don't hesitate - just book it! :)

This place was great - nice and cozy. It had all the essentials and was relatively clean. I will say that we tried to grill out but the grill had no gas :( and then when we started cooking in the kitchen little ants were coming in from the window. FYI the games provided are a little old and outdated. The beds were comfy and the living room was a nice place to hangout!

Loved my stay! The farm was gorgeous and so peaceful and rejuvenating. Wish I could’ve stayed longer and would definitely stay again. Dan and Suzanne were friendly and helpful and the apartment was comfortable, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. 5 stars!

We had an awesome stay at Hannah’s. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and we loved all the recommendations she shared with us. We would stay again!

Becky's place was very nice and the backyard was beautiful! We even saw fireflies!

We had an awesome long weekend at Morton's Retreat. We loved visiting Three Oaks and Sawyer, and going on a few short hikes nearby. We especially loved grabbing drinks at the Historian. The Airbnb is on a busy road, but there is a bike path that runs by it and it's a short walk to Luisa's Swedish bakery, which was excellent. The place was clean and even a bit larger than we expected. Great for a relaxing long weekend.

A wonderful and quiet space.

We had an amazing time! Me and my boyfriend stayed for one night, the patio and dock were super cozy and we really enjoyed sitting out there at night just listening to music and having some drinks. Super nice area, the beach isn't too far and they have some fun bars and restaurants in the area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

This was my first time booking with Airbnb and all I can say is that it could not have been a better experience! Aaron was so nice and beyond helpful. The apartment was the perfect size for my husband and I. It is in a good location, we were able to get to anything we needed or wanted with just a short walk. Not only that but the building itself was so cool, the lobby is beautiful and the amenities were spectacular. We ventured to the rooftop many times because of how nice and peaceful it was. We attended a concert at the Aragon Ballroom and it’s the first time we’ve not stressed about how to make the trip there and back. It was maybe a 3-5 minute walk at most! Overall it was beyond what I was expecting. If available, anytime we will be in the area this will be our first choice!!

I came for the Beyoncé concert and the place was pristine. It was kind of a perfect storm of things.

Excellent place to stay. Had to check in very late, and it was no issue. Had everything I needed for a quick stop over, and was leagues better than any hotel or motel in a 50 miles radius for the price. Would definitely stay here again .

Had a great time with some friends at Candy’s property! She had helpful notes and cozy decorations all over the cabin, and we took full advantage of all the amenities she had to offer. We frequently saw ducks, swans, and other wildlife passing by and it was the perfect place to unwind and relax. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking to enjoy a weekend on the lake or take a breather from their busy lives! 🎣

The location was great and close to things we wanted to do while in the area. The cabin was very clean and cozy. The porch and views were beautiful and relaxing. We even saw a couple of wild turkeys while heading out to dinner. The hosts were very responsive and kind. We would definitely go back if in the area again.

I can’t recommend Elise as a host highly enough. Her cottage is in a perfect spot and was great for our fishing trip. Plenty of space to park our trailer. We had some boat problems and her husband even came over to help fix it. This is our second time staying at Elise’s cottage and we will definitely be back!

Our family loves coming to this cabin. It is a wonderful place to stay with the great amenities such as the pond stocked with fish, the fire pit, grill, and walkable trails. It is such a nice place to stay and relax in the outdoors with the comfort of a cozy clean cabin to enjoy.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home tucked away in a peaceful rural setting. The house was full of charm and character, and the surrounding mature woods made it feel like a true escape. It's conveniently located near Three Oaks and New Buffalo, both of which offered plenty of great activities, dining, and local charm. Our dogs loved the space just as much as we did—especially the nearby dog beach! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and pet-friendly getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean and cozy, exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub was relaxing and the bed was super comfy. We had a hard time getting the gas fireplace working, but Jeremiah and Tracey responded quickly and we got it going easily with further instruction.

Quite and peaceful! The perfect place to get away for a relaxing weekend!
