Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Indian River County

My husband and I brought my parents and uncle, who are 80, 87, 89 to the area to attend their granddaughters high school graduation. My sister and family visited us every afternoon and cooked dinner for our parents and uncle. The house was perfect, we all stayed outside in the screened in porch from the time we got up until bedtime. My 80 year old mom and 89 year old uncle (they are siblings) loved taking a dip in the pool. The pool steps and hand rails made this possible for them. The neighborhood was quite and peaceful. The relaxed setting sparked lots of forgotten memories. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. Close to grocery stores. It has been a perfect week for our family and would recommend to anyone. coming to the area. I am hopeful we will have another opportunity at some time.

This is the most gorgeous place!! Nestled in the cutest little area full of twisting trees and tropical foliage. It’s true you’ll feel like you are in Costa Rica!!! So much space to chill. Everything is in terrific shape and much attention to details and care. The bikes are like new and we enjoyed riding to the Jungle Trail - a must do. Well stocked kitchen and new appliances. There is a clawfoot tub in the upstairs bdrm that is set in front of French doors to a private patio which we opened while showering! Entire home and grounds super clean and well cared for. The location: it is closer to Sebastian/Wabasso and on the west side of A1A/Jimmy Buffet Hwy which makes for a sweet and quiet visit but you’ll need to cross this not too busy road with no crosswalk. The beach on this section is set high so there are 19 well built and easy steps down to the sand - very common. We loved it but something to be aware of. Vero Disney is super close. We cannot wait to come back!

You can't go wrong staying in this comfortable, well equipped home. The home is exactly as described and pictured on the AirBnB site. From the moment we walked in, we knew we chose the right place. Clean, well-stocked, comfortable beds, comfortable furniture, great pool, beautiful landscaping, and a large fenced yard at the end of a quiet dead end street. Our dog was so happy to be able to run and play in the yard. She chased squirrels, and bunnies that were on the other side of the fence. We had a problem with the TVs/WiFi when we first arrived, but Eddie immediately left his dinner to drive the 15 minutes to the house to address the issue (a breaker switch had flipped off). Eddie provides you with all the info you need to maximize your stay. Not a deal breaker, but since the area is so dark at night, we would have liked to be able to turn on the outside lights out front and in the back yard. Thank you, Eddie, for hosting us. We had a great time! You take great care of this house.

Gisella's home was lovely. Clean, nicely furnished, comfortable beds, nicely stocked kitchen appliances, cookware, dishes. Looked just like the photos. Very nice screened in pool-heated, although in the 90°+ summer weather of Florida, heat not needed, but I imagine in the winter that would be a big bonus. We had no problems in the home and it was in a nice quiet neighborhood, and in easy driving distance to many local delicious restaurants and shops. Gisella responded promptly to any messages I sent.

Lovely home my family and I enjoyed the space and lots of rooms with space. My pets were very comfortable as well.

Tina was a wonderful host. There were some issues at first but Tina went above and beyond to make sure things were clean and our need were met. She was very respectful and responsive. This Airbnb was the perfect choice for our work trip. The location was extremely convenient, just a short distance from the job site, which saved us a lot of commuting time. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a productive stay. The host was responsive and made check-in/out easy. Would definitely stay here again for future work trips!

This house was absolutely stunning!! Beyond my expectations! Clean, had everything we needed and more. Stayed here with my family of 7. Plenty of room. The 3 bedrooms are on the opposite side of the master which was great. The living room had a huge comfy sectional (pic shows a small leather couch). Great host, super friendly and helpful! We will absolutely stay here again!! Oh yeah and the kids LOVED the pool! 😎🏝️

Great location, walkable to the beach and the amenities at the home made for a very comfortable stay. We really appreciated the amount of resources for guest use such as yoga mats, bikes, beach wagon, beach towels, and toys. Would definitely stay here again.

We came over from Orlando to celebrate my son’s 15th birthday with his best friends. They were amazed at the house, all the incredible art, and they loved the bedrooms. The balconies were super cool with hammock swings and wind chimes. Greg was extremely kind and helpful for everything I requested. We were fortunate to see a mama turtle lay her eggs, and a pod of manatees. I’ll definitely book again.

This place is just as described. Great for our small family. Lots of extras like bikes and beach chairs/towels. Bathroom well stocked too.

had a wonderful time at the Carmen fishing cottage.Pam is a great host beautiful view from the cottage of the river in the morning,no one bothered us while we were there and staff was very helpful when asked. looking forward to our next visit which we already booked

This listing is a hidden gem! If a quiet, peaceful beach vacation is what you’re looking for - you’ve found it here. The house was perfectly laid out for our family of 5. It was easy to find and was extremely clean when we entered. All amenities listed were included - and then some. Most days we were the only people on the beach! The amount of wildlife that we had in our own backyard was just mind blowing. You really are just steps away from the beach. There were dozens of sea turtles constantly bobbing out of the water. We saw dolphin about every day and our kids had two young manatees swim right up to them! The shelling here was also great! The sunrise view was BREATHTAKING! We recommend catching it every morning! Something we would recommend: brings lots of bug spray. As there is natural vegetation in the lot next to the house, no-see-ums are thriving there. The hosts were wonderful and responsive. This was one of our favorite vacations yet.
