Waterfront holiday rentals in Hydra

Excellent welcome from yanis very clean and well located accommodation for visiting the methanapeninsula, I would recommend it. We were only able to dine once but other tavernas are very good at the port of Vathi

Ksenia’s place is great value for the price. It is in a good area, a 15ish minutes walk from the port and beachfront. We came in December so much of the island, including the restaurant downstairs was closed for off season so it was very quiet. It was a little bit cold in the apartment, we weren’t sure if we weren’t working the heaters correctly or if that’s how hot they got- but we were only there for one night so it wasn’t a huge issue. Also, the host was very quick and kind with responses, and everybody that worked there was very helpful.

An exceptionally lovely space and spot - highlight was the private rocks to swim off in the gorgeous sea. Walking distance to the beach, nice restaurants, a bakery - and the walk into town is fairly easy, but a taxi back costs just €5.

A beautiful, peaceful and comfortable place for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. A taverna 2 steps away to eat and 4kms from the port for the island of Hydra! Perfect! We made a stop in Ermioni, charming village and harbor.

Ελένη is very nice and helpful. Her apartment is very comfortable, in a beautiful, quiet area. It has all the necessary amenities. The terrace has a sea view and the beach is 3 minutes away. We spent two wonderful weeks there. Thank you, Ελένη .

Math and Alexandra have a very charming place! There were two of us, and the space was a good size for us. Math, Alex and her mother Maria are all very attentive and personable, which made the stay very sweet. It is centrally located, and very easy to get to Poros town, beaches and tavernas via a short walk. They furnished a walking path map of the island which we greatly enjoyed. Be aware that the accommodations are pretty basic, and that wifi really isn't available in the space, but this gives you chance to unplug and enjoy the island!

Our stay was very relaxing, and they happily accommodated both our pets. The space was exactly as described and pictured—clean and comfortable. You can hear the waves from the balcony while staying away from any noise from the center. The hosts proactively checked in to ensure we could check in properly and were enjoying our stay. We didn't encounter any issues, so minimal communication was needed. We met a wonderful woman who lives on the first floor, and she made us tiropitakia that were absolutely delicious! There was fresh fruit waiting for us upon check-in—a nice touch—and we enjoyed all the pears. Would absolutely stay here again.

The apartment was really nice with a beautiful view of the port. It is in walking distance from the restaurants and shops and very closed to the main port. All rooms were very clean. George was really kind and helpful about everything. We had a lovely stay. Thank you George.

We had an amazing stay on our honeymoon. The views from the bedroom and on the balcony are amazing and it's heavenly to be able to wake up and swim right outside the house. The location is great, far enough away from the main port to be peaceful but close enough to be able to walk in to visit. There are lots of friendly cats in the neighborhood for those that like to befriend cats and it's close to the Leonard Cohen memorial bench for those that want to peacefully stare out to see. We had some lovely dinners at Pirofani Taverna in a beautiful square

What can I say? Our daughter married her soulmate on Deskalio island surrounded by family and friends. This beautiful house provided us with a peaceful sanctuary from which we could celebrate with privacy and comfort, all 90 guests. The views from the terrace are breathtaking and uninterrupted. The 3 bedrooms allowed both daughters to enjoy a homely family residence at their leisure and precious family time together. We loved how we could walk a few steps to Passage Waterski Club and enjoy multiple water sports with the highly engaging and caring waterski coach Karolos. He is perfectly suited to his job and derives great pleasure encouraging all of us to try, have fun and make some progress. This family home is a beautiful place to visit and to enjoy the magnificent Neorio Bay Area of Póros island. We most certainly WILL return!

Maria is the very definition of the term "super host." In fact, Airbnb should create another category for someone like her who puts in such tremendous amounts of passion, care, and effort into hosting. We've stayed at other "super host" properties, but Maria goes so far above and beyond what others do that she is in a league of her own. She keeps the place spotless and has more than everything you might need, no matter how long your stay. You'll never feel like you have to do without anything or only have the bare minimum because she provides you with all of the touches of home. The apartment is in a fantastic location in Perdika, close enough to Aegina Town if you want to go, but also far removed from the touristy stores and restaurants if you want a relaxing island retreat. Maria herself is so kind and thoughtful and really takes the time to get to know you. She picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry, gave us a tour of Perdika, and even hosted us for wine and home cooking.

We had a great stay! The house is in an exceptional place, breathtakingly beautiful. The road to get there, bumpy earth away from 15’, is not for every driver, but you get it easy fast. Beautiful views along the way, and also on site. The choice between 2 beautiful natural beaches with transparent water. We were there in early Sept. and shared 1 beach (with trees for some shade) only with 2 likeable 80-year-old ladies and their dog Rosa, who came to swim there every morning. The other beach is really "private" and blissful! The house is a bit messy, with no electricity grid -not for discerning visitors. You can use everything that is available freely. Lots of beds to place freely where you want. I slept outside and enjoyed a spectacular sunrise every morning. Tip: I brought a light solar energy guirlande that provided a lot of atmosphere and pleasant lighting for nice evenings outside on the terrace. Nice contact with the owners. A paradise! Merci!!!

Maria and her husband greeted us when we arrived and was very helpful with their best local restaurants recommendations. They were around and always easy to contact if we needed any help. The hotel was located just in the end of the more busy street were it was a bit more calm and a nice little beach just outside. Would gladly come back again!

We were very kindly welcomed by Andra and Alexander. We got good tips for restaurants and what to see and do. We were right at the harbor with all the coziness and also supermarket is close by. The apartment was great! We felt right at home. The apartment is decorated with care and looks great. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Amazing place, direct acces to a beautiful beach. Really quiet. Beach equiped to rest. Nice welcoming, Angeliki was really nice. We would like to come back !
