Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Hveragerði

Vi havde en skøn uge i det hyggelige hus på landet nede af grusvejen. Værterne var meget hjælpsomme og fandt også tid til en rundvisning, hvor vi fik lov at se dyrene på gården. Både får, geder, køer og heste. Alt i huset var pænt og rent, og sengene var meget komfortable. Køkkenet havde alt hvad man havde brug for til nem madlavning, og værterne havde givet gode instruktioner til seværdigheder, restauranter og indkøb i området. Dejligt ophold!

I cannot say enough good things about this house. Not only was the home beautiful clean and very warm, but Vera was such a wonderful and communicative host. We traveled with our two-year-old son and she had a crib highchair and literally everything you could think of set up for a toddler so if you have kids, this is absolutely the place to go. There's even a little treehouse with a slide in the back and at night we could sit in the wonderful hot tub and see the northern lights. I would happily stay here again!!

Todella hieno ja rauhallinen paikka, tilan hevoset upeita ja muut maatilan eläimet sekä koirat ihastuttavia. Mahdollisuus ratsastusvaellukseen oli syy miksi valitsimme tämän paikan, mutta voisin hyvin majoittua täällä myös muutenkin. Mökki oli hieno, kodikas ja hyvin varusteltu ja meidät otettiin hyvin lämpimästi vastaan. Mökin keittiöstä oli ihana katsella laiduntavia hevosia. Harmittaa että yövyimme vain yhden yön, olisimme viihtyneet pidempäänkin. Voin suositella lämpimästi tätä paikkaa.

We had an amazing time at Emma and Oskar’s place. The location was serene and breathtaking. Beautiful views of the water and wildlife. The home was extremely cozy, tasteful, and had everything we could ask for. The deck had gorgeous views, a wonderful hot tub, the water was always hot, the beds were comfortable and the entire place had a cozy feel. Hosts gave very clear check in instructions which made it a breeze. The home is close to everything you need. We had an amazing time and highly recommend to anyone traveling to Iceland.

We were absolutely amazed when we walk in to the house. Hjordis’s house is even nicer than in to the photos! House was very stylish, clean and cozy and with all little details which were waiting there for us we were really amazed. There were also provided everything you should need during your stay here. Also instructions was very clear so we didn’t have a problem with anything. It was also great location for our shorter Icelandic trip and we catch everything we wanted to see from there.

A peaceful and private cabin surrounded by mountains and a lake. The house is beautiful and spacious. A well stocked kitchen made it easy to cook dinners and breakfast. Plenty of space for 5 adults and 1 child to spread out and relax. Thankful for such a kind, patient, responsive host!

What a beautiful, secluded location. We LOVED the natural hot springs hot tub on the property. There is nothing you need to do to use it, just take the cover off and enjoy. The place was comfortable, cozy, and clean. Great blackout curtains. Had a little trouble using Google Maps to find it, but instructions proactively given by the host helped for sure. Close to Geysir and Gullfoss. Maybe stock up on groceries before you come, although there is a small grocery store in Flúðir. We highly recommend this place!

me and friends had a great stay! The place was clean, cozy, and just as described. The location was quiet but still close to everything I needed. Check-in was super smooth, and communication with the host was quick and easy. Thanks so much for the lovely stay!

We couldn’t have dreamt of a better location for a trip to Iceland. Anna was superb in the least up and gave som many helpful suggestions. She was an impeccable host. So kind. Friendly and helpful. Thank you both for an idyllic stay.

Linda was an absolutely amazing host, she was very responsive and always so polite. The house is gorgeous, it had everything you could need and was spotless! I would definitely stay here again but for longer next time!

This was a great place for us to stay. It’s close to grocery stores and restaurants. It’s also close to the city so it is convenient but it’s very nice that you are not right in the city. I would highly recommend staying here.

All I can say is — the rumors are true! This place is one of the best AirBnBs I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve been doing this a while. Sigridur and Omar are wonderful hosts— they made me feel right at home, very friendly and helpful with recommendations for where to eat and shop, and generally very sweet and welcoming people. The apartment actually seemed a bit bigger and more adorable in person. I was verycomfortable

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jon’s Penthouse. It was easy walking distance to all the main sights in Reykjavik, plus there were many restaurants and groceries close by. Since there was an elevator to the fourth floor, it was easy to manage with luggage. Even though it is in the city, we never heard any noise. The apartment is very tidy and has all the amenities needed for a nice stay. We did not totally understand how to use the hot spot, but did not need it since we had eSIMs. Each evening we watched a variety of movies on Netflix, which were much appreciated. Although it was pleasant when we arrived at the end of May, by the beginning of June a huge storm arrived and it was so windy, I could barely stand when walking. However, Jon’s place is a warm and quiet oasis in a storm.

We enjoyed staying at Ragnar's place. It was exactly as pictured and was great for getting around to all the sites. Ragnar is very kind and helped us when we had something go wrong. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed and the bathroom was very big and clean.

We had a great visit, and we loved this Airbnb! It was conveniently located, and it had plenty of space for our family of five! We would most definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Gunnar’s apartment for a week during our visit to Reykjavík. The location was good and pretty central to restaurants and attractions we wanted to visit. We did rent a car which made travel much easier and the parking was abundant and not too expensive. The apartment itself was clean overall although some areas had some dust. No complaints here, it wasn’t a big deal. Gunnar did advertise that the apartment house(d) two cats but as someone with cat allergies I had no problem with any fur or cat dander. FYI, across Iceland the hot water is heated geothermically which gives off a sulfur smell, so don’t be alarmed. Thanks Gunnar, for allowing us to stay at your apartment during the week! Ken + Jenn

Amazing stay! The condo was so spacious, quiet, and clean - it had everything we needed! The shower was huge compared to hotels and other Airbnbs we stayed at in Iceland. Only an 8 minute drive to Sky Lagoon and a 10 minute drive into the city center. Would recommend this place to anyone!

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

This stay was such a highlight of our trip! We really enjoyed the location in a beautiful peaceful neighborhood, right next to the bike/ walking path that you can take into downtown. Helgi and Titti are the best hosts! We felt welcomed as if we were one of their neighbors. Such a joy to hang out in the garden and drink coffees and pet their dog :) they have lots of good local reccommendations. Can’t imagine a better place to stay either as a couple or a solo traveller- can’t wait to be back one day, a very special place.

WOW! what an amazing place to stay!!!! I have endless things to say about our experience here. the views and surroundings were immaculate. so peaceful and such a wonderful way to wake up in the mornings. everything was so clean and the rooms / beds were so comfortable. the bonus was the little spa area, the facilities were so clean and amazing. plenty of room to change, bathroom, showers, sauna. and the outdoor waterfall hot tubs were perfect temperature while it was cold outside. I would 100% stay here again!

Kjartan was very accomodating to us and we enjoyed our stay in this appartment. The kitchen and other rooms had all the facilities we could have needed - this extended to more niche things such as a can opener which you don't always find in a flat! We were greeted nicely and the stay was uncomplicated. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet, as well as having everything in walkable distance. It is also close to a bus stop. The flat is surprisingly warm on the inside.

I cannot recommend this condo enough. This was a great place right outside of Reykjavík that allowed us to quickly go into town and provided a great jumping off point for our tours. The condo was welcoming and very clean - it is exactly how the photos and description describe it. The amenities were great, and the laundry was wonderful after long days. Also, Hannes was a phenomenal host. He allowed us to check in early because of an early morning flight, and was extremely responsive to any question I had. I cannot wait to return and rebook this condo. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you Hannes for your hospitality!
