Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hurley

I've stayed at Calley's places many times. You can beat the ski-in/ski-out location. She has made some nice upgrades to the units over the years and always does a great job with the communication. Her property manager is a great guy and is very responsive if issues arise. You can't go wrong staying here.

Great place to stay at. Nothing beats being able to just walk out of you back door and be on the ski hill. Has everything anyone would need plus more.

A great location. In walking distance to a ski lift. The place was clean and it was awesome being able to have a fire in the fire place. Peter checked in with us in person to see if we needed anything. Also, he was very responsive to a couple questions I had prior to arriving. We will be back.

This is a perfect place if you are skiing at the Snowriver Mountain hills. The place is a little dated and the walls are a little thin, but we didn't want to spend our days in the condo so it didn't bother us. Peter is very polite and responsive.

This is a very nice and spacious place in a convenient building whether you are skiing at Black River (which is ski in - ski out) or Jackson Creek Summit which is only 10 minutes away and has easy parking. Calley is super responsive and easy to work with.

We came to the Upper Peninsula for fall colors. The location (at the base of a ski hill) was right on the route for one of the best color drives in the area and close to the Copper Peak ski jump that offers rides to the top to see the surrounding countryside. The charging station for our Tesla was super close at the main lodge. Eric's place was super clean, quiet and comfortable. We liked having the pinball machine for some extra fun.

Tim’s place was very relaxing for the early weekend getaway! Would def stay with host again!

Calley is a really great host. This place is clean and comfortable with two full bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s super convenient to Black River. True ski in / ski out. Easy drive to Jackson Creek and other local areas. These are some of the best accommodations in the area with a great host. Highly recommend! We will be back.

This log cabin is great and the hosts are very quick to respond with answers and needs. Cabin was exactly as described, and comes fully stocked with games, cook ware, outdoor activities, swings, and so much more. Definitely will book again!

I will definitely be back! This location is great! We were able to experience the fall colors. Right on the water with great experience for sunset/sunrise. The cabin was extremely clean. Mick and Lollie provided excellent recommendations for local attractions, places to eat, activities, and pictures to show the space. It was a great experience!!

Better than advertised! Pics do not do it justice! Owner is VERY communicative and prompt, exceptionally clean and well cared for!

Jim was extremely responsive to our messages and resolved problems quickly. The lodge itself is beautiful with a great lakefront. We had a wonderful time!

We absolutely loved staying at Jason Black River Retreat! It had everything we needed, was very clean, the property and trails well maintained. We will be back!

Tim and Roxanne were the nicest hosts we’ve ever dealt with and their place is truly spectacular. It was a privilege to stay there. It is beautiful, peaceful and such an idyllic setting! They also keep their place in tip top shape and have everything you could ever need available for you. Hammocks, boats, bikes… whatever you need. We’ve stayed at a ton of rentals up north as well as internationally, and none come close to staying with Tim and Roxanne at their place. Plus, the lake is pristine and private to the twenty some property owners that have a home on it. Great fishing, clear water and even some sandy spots. Oh, and Al Capone’s brother owned a house on this lake, so there’s a lot of cool history too. So glad we found this place…. Thanks Tim and Roxanne!

The stay was perfect for a quiet getaway that we were looking for. The sunrise views were gorgeous. The cabin was very clean. We look forward to coming back again and hopefully for a longer stay. Scott was a great host and very flexible and we appreciated the hospitality.

This was my family's 2nd time staying. The home is very comfortable and enough space for my family and our dog. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great fishing lake. Peaceful and relaxing neighborhood. Close to local shopping. We will not hesitate to stay again!

This place was as described and had plenty of amenities and essentials. It had a stocked kitchen for cooking on-site and it was a comfortable place for our group. Located in a friendly area and close to everything that Iron County, WI has to offer. I would recommend for a northern getaway.

A group of us came to Collin’s place for a fishing trip. This place is awesome! The dock was perfect for our pontoon rental. Really enjoyed the kayaks and row boat that were provided as well. The space was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had everything you could want for a trip up north. Collin was very responsive and helpful with a few questions on where to find things. The kitchen is fully stocked, which was appreciated by our group cooking multiple meals per day. The location is great too. Only 10 minutes to the nearest Grocery store, and about 20 minutes to some of the “larger” towns in the area . Highly recommend little Bohemia lodge for their Friday/Wednesday fish fry. The food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere is very unique. We would love to stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here for a week and we had a wonderful time at this beautiful quaint little two bedroom cottage. The name of "The View" is spot on as we had a spectacular view of the lake just steps from the front door. We enjoyed our morning coffee looking out at the lake. There are no resorts on the lake, just homeowners, so the lake is very quiet and peaceful. The fishing was great as we caught Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, and a lot of Crappie. Kasia was super responsive at check-in and we never needed to contact her for anything else. I also, loved the fish cleaning station near the campfire pit with running water via the hose attached to the cottage. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay there again.

Fiesta on the Lake is a special place. We have been here several times and every time has been wonderful. Tracey and Lynne are great and we just always love out stays. We will be back for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was just as she described it and it was a homey stay for us while we enjoyed a weekend of skiing. We really liked having a fire in the evenings and there was space for us to dry our clothes from the day. The only bummer was having people stay above us. The floors were very creeky, but ear plugs helped with that while sleeping. Overall, we were happy with our choice to stay here and would definitely do it again.

What a beautiful place. Everything anyone would need was laid out for us, and even included snacks and a wonderful gift bag for my family. Will be using it again. Highly recommended. Kyaks are available to go out on the lake. Good fishing from the dock. A fire pit was set up for us. Just wonderful.

I’ve stayed here once in the fall and once in winter, both great. The house is solid, clean and quiet. Looking forward to visiting in spring and summer.
