Lake house holiday rentals in Hungary

We can only say here that the place is absolutely amazing. Located directly on Lake Balaton, now nice and quiet in April and the house or the equipment is very good. A dream if you can sit in the hot tub or on the sofa in not so warm weather and look out on the Lake Balaton through the large panoramic windows. All in all, this was a fantastic stay for us Hungarian fans here in April.

We had a super nice, pleasant holiday in this beautiful villa. The house is very well equipped, has a nice terrace and a beautiful garden with many trees, which give the necessary cooling during the hot summer days. (the airconditioners in the bedrooms are also a great added value) The quiet beach is around the corner (approx. 200m) and with the wagon you can easily take all your beach equipment with you. On foot or by bike you will be in the center at the bakery, small supermarket or restaurant. Highly recommended to discover the Balaton and this beautiful region.

Great Lake Balaton accommodation with a nice view and private beach. The yard was pleasantly shaded, and you could sunbathe on the dock and on the beach. The place is well-equipped and they were able to provide us with a crib and a high chair.

We had a wonderful time in Gerard and Minka's apartment with 2 adults, 3 children and a small dog! Everything was as described, clean and very idyllic. We felt really comfortable from the start. The house is in a quiet location right next to a beautiful grove, so peace and relaxation are ensured. The great swimming lake is a few minutes' walk away and we spent a lot of time there as it has many locations and great play opportunities. In 15 minutes you can reach Kiskunhalas by car, where there are many shopping opportunities and you can buy almost everything. Nearby are also many picturesque villages and great cities such as Szeged, where you can do a lot with children. (Zoo, slide park, etc.) The contact with the two was great! They were very helpful, friendly, quick to respond and gave us extra tips for activities! (Bagac Cultural Festival.) Thank you for everything!

This was our third time at this beautiful house and we had a fantastic stay as always. Our highlights were: the garden and private lake access for us, the fenced garden for our dog and the high-speed WiFi for my teenage kids.

Ildikó was very kind, although unfortunately we couldn't meet in person, but she answered all the questions by phone and even gave advice on how our trip could be even more pleasant. The house is in a great location with a view of the Lake of Orfű and its own dock, where the morning coffee rained even more. The house had everything we could need. Our pup had a blast too! We were here in the fall, and it can probably be an even more great experience in the summer.

A beautiful spot where you can swim in the lake! it was very very clean and modern inside and the hospitality was incredible as they helped us with some transportation during our stay!

We had a super great stay and enjoyed it very much. Silveszter and his girlfriend are super nice,his parents are also super cute. We felt very welcome and will be happy to come back again. All are always easily accessible for tips regarding restaurant, etc. The location directly on the lake is super nice and quiet. The lake is almost for yourself. Despite the central fact that you can reach everything you need within walking distance, the beach and shops bars, etc. The garden is well maintained and equipped with llo loungers to relax. Grandma, child ,dog and we are all completely satisfied Thank you for the lovely stay

Although it was not the accommodation shown in the photos, we were very satisfied. I would say that our accommodation was even more spacious. There were also many opportunities for children to enjoy themselves directly in the garden. Thank you very much and we wish you all the best!

Tamas was a very friendly and helpful host. The apartment was really well equipped and gave us everything we needed. Our dogs really enjoyed the access to the garden. A very pleasant stay

We had a great time at the place, the kids were able to play in the big garden, and the Venice Coast is a few minutes walk away. The upstairs and downstairs in the house can work completely separate, we had two families downstairs and we had a separate small suite with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom in the same way. The host, Edina, was very kind and helpful in everything. I highly recommend this place to others. Thank you!

We had a great time during our vacation. The accommodation is close to the beach and the promenade is not far away. Thank you also to the host, Sebastian, who was extremely friendly and helpful, responding promptly to all our requests. We'll definitely be back!

We loved that country-feeling, that Gabriella and Josh have made! House was tastly decorated and comfy. Caves to visit and walking-roads nearby. Communication was easy. We recomend to bigger families (as ours), enought good places to be together and separetly.

We had a great stay on the Hungarian Puszta, it was an ideal place to start exploring the surrounding area with our big dog. It is a very quiet, rural place and we had the luck to spend our time there while the fruit trees were in bloom! Lots of wildlife and beautiful Hungarian nature surrounds you here. Jens and Dana are absolutely amazing hosts and were always ready to help us with any questions or recommendations of the area. We are super grateful for all of their kindness and help! Our only stumbling block was the stairs. They are quite a challenge to get up and down from and as someone who is afraid of heights, this was not completely ideal. However, we did have the option to sleep on the ground floor (pull-out sofa bed), and this was a real savior for us.

We had a great vacation at Lászlón's place. Everything was at home in the house, nothing was missing. The host provided really great facilities in the little things that delighted us, the needs for the grill, coffee, tea. The dishwasher and washing machine made all the service more enjoyable. The place is close to everything we wanted from a Balaton vacation. This is a quiet, private place. Thank you for your house for our vacation. Veronika

Nandor was a great host and the place was perfect. Really easy to get to and such a peaceful spot.

We spent a week at Roland’s place. Location is perfect, Lake Balaton is just down the street, very short and easy walk. The house is a twin, the garden is shared with the other half, which also managed by Roland. It is very clean and spacious, six of us plus a baby could comfortably fit in. The two full bathrooms were great. Kitchen has all amenities needed, and it was very clean. Great stay, planning to return. Roland is an attentive host and a nice person.

We have perfect holidays at Rudolf's Residence. The house is brand-new with all modern conveniences including fireplace and perfect sauna. The house is equipped with all necessary kitchen aids, technics and also it is very comfortable to cook there :). There are 2 bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and two beautiful bathrooms with all necessary things. The housekeeper recommended us best places to visit. We are happy! Looking forward to comeback soon! Thanks a lot!

The firt impression was the best. We arrived afternoon, got the key at the reception. The apartman is net to a golf course at the hungarian - austrian border. The apartmants are brand new, amazing looks and no neighbours. The lake(s) was/were amazing. At the busiest day there were like 10 plp. Deffiniately want to go back. However the apartment could have been cleaner thought.

The place is in a beautiful place with its own beach. The house was very well equipped and had everything you need. The landlord is very kind and communicative. A huge thank you for being dog-friendly, our dog enjoyed being there as much as we did! :)
