This place exceeded our expectations from the listing! Kyle & staff were very friendly & helpful when it came to questions we had during the checkin/checkout process. Firewood was stocked on the facility, so we were easily able to set up the fire pit for communal use. We stayed in the south yurt, which had a gas heating stove (not wooded). It kept us really toasty during the cold weather this past weekend (at night it was 30-40 °F). I’m glad we got the yurt with heating. The sauna was also a wonderful touch to the facility for the cold weather. Showers & bathrooms were very clean. We didn’t cook that much during our stay, but the communal kitchen had many appliances & utensils, for those who planned to cook. Would 100% recommend this location for a nice getaway.

The yurt itself is very small and rustic, but with a sturdy bed, warm linens, and a nice view out the window. The walk to the common spaces is short and easy, leading through some beautiful gardens to get to the sauna/bathhouse/kitchen/firepit/parking area. The bathhouse and kitchen were clean, heated, spacious, and comfortable. Kyle had small, electric lanterns stored in the kitchen for our nighttime use, which was a lovely touch. We loved making a fire and counting the stars, and appreciated the friendliness and respectfulness of the other guests in the space. There are lots of great places nearby to eat and drink, and we loved being so close to so many trailheads and the entrance to Minnewaska State Park for hiking. We hope to come back soon!

My daughter and I loved Bonna’s place ! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We were completely surrounded by nature. The location was perfect, my daughter was riding at the Huntington Horse Farm, it was a quick drive from the yurt. Bonna was very quick to answer all of my questions. and was super flexible with check in and departure. We were lucky to meet her on our last night, it was wonderful to talk about how her space came to be what it is today. The yurt was a perfect little get away for us. We cannot wait to go back next time we are in the area. I loved exploring this part of Vermont, Bonna’s property is a magical place.

My husband and I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the vibe provided! We had a great weekend away and loved how we felt close enough to all the happenings in town but far enough out that it was a quiet, nice, safe neighborhood. I took advantage of all that Sheri had to offer and would definitely be back again!

I stayed at Angela’s yurt for Memorial Day weekend. It was exactly as described. My boyfriend and I had a very peaceful long weekend. The space was cozy and adorable and we especially loved the wood burning stove. Was a great stay, would definitely return and highly recommend.

After a little trouble finding it (there was a winter road closure and it was dark) we found the yurt cozy and warm, the fire having been started for us. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Very peaceful setting on farm; we slept like babies. The bed was very comfortable with fresh linens and plenty of warm quilts. The next day the rooster even waited until 9 am to crow! One of the sheep was quite friendly approaching us to bleat hello. Beautiful views on awakening. Not a complaint but just be aware that you might have to approach the site from a different direction and it’s a few miles of unpaved road. Also wear sturdy shoes/boots for the best footing to and from the main house where the bathroom is. Overall great experience!

I'm not sure where to start! This luxurious yurt was cozy, welcoming, rustic and warm beyond what could be captured in the descriptions or pictures! Serene and peaceful, it was the perfect escape from the city. I could not have imagined a place like this existing. Cathy was an incredible host, extremely responsive, and has done a phenomenal job creating and maintaining this gem of a destination. The yurt is fully equipped with everything you could every need and want, and is located on a private farm with gorgeous surroundings. No question we will back to take advantage of this space again. Thank you Cathy for sharing this space with us!

Stunning Yurt on a hillside, with a beautiful view from the deck. We stayed dry and cozy despite 2 days of straight rain. Mt. Pisgah trail head was just a 1 minute walk away with some beautiful trails leading to the summit! Love the rustic feel of the yurts location, can’t wait to see the expansion finished and go back! Next time the weather will cooperate so we can have a fire outside.

The yurt is comfortable, clean and includes everything you need to be comfortable.. right down to the coffee beans and French press! We enjoyed the fireplace and beautiful surroundings..and would love to stay here again. My wife gives bonus points to the bathhouse and hot shower.

Expect a calm, intimate space for rest and relaxation surrounded by nature. The owners practice a truly holistic lifestyle which very much reflects in the impressive area they’ve built and the overall experience, lending to its authenticity. This airbnb is for people who enjoy nature, hiking, dogs (there are two on the premise) and generally disconnecting. If you’re not looking for this, it may not be the place for you. If you do find it appealing — this place will definitely deliver. The owners were also great and responsive to any requests and recommendations.

Nanci has an incredible place filled with a sense of care and belonging. To say that about the accommodations isn’t enough. You are left surrounded by the beauty of horses in all shapes, all happy to be.

We had such an incredible stay at this yurt in the woods! Jana and Denise were very helpful and responsive throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated them delivering some items we ordered from the farm, they made for amazing meals. We’d love to be back!

“Enchanting” is a perfect description for this property. The entire weekend felt like a haven and Yuri was outstanding being responsive and helpful! I’ve never thought of returning to an Airbnb but I would rent again, for sure! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful home!

We adored this space - natural, calm, and friendly vibe. The yurt was very spacious and bright with many lighting options. On a chilly fall evening we found that the wood stove had been stocked and lit already - much appreciated!

We stay here often, and always find something new to appreciate. It's been a chilly spring, but thankfully, the wood stove kept us all cozy. Being up in the trees, we could hear so many unique birds! We usually cook, but found the local restaurants in Guilford to be quite good. I say it every time, but it's always the getaway my family needs with the right amount of nature to escape, without sacrificing too many creature comforts. It's our happy place!

Our stay in this little slice of peace was incredibly comfortable, cozy and private. Hosts were very responsive and came to help us when we asked within 10 mins. We didn’t want to leave! Will be back!

Rachel’s yurt on Star Lake was peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. We fell asleep to the calls of loons and the chorus of peeper frogs, and woke up to the stillness of the lake just outside our door. The yurt is cozy and well-kept, perfect for unplugging and soaking in the serenity. A truly relaxing getaway.

My wife and I stayed at Eric's yurt over Memorial Day weekend and we were so impressed by the experience. Eric is an impeccable host, kind and easy to communicate with. The yurt itself is a fascinating, well-built structure, which Eric has impressively appointed with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed hanging out in the backyard, using the fire pit, watching the birds and listening to the peeper frogs in the pond and adjacent marshland. The historically hippie town of Woodstock is nearby with all its food, drink and arts & crafts options. Lots of places in the vicinity to go hiking and spend time in the natural world of the Catskills: we enjoyed visiting Kaaterskill Falls and the Sloan Gorge Preserve. I highly recommend a stay in Eric's yurt.

Great weekend getaway for us and our dog. Wonderful spot for fires and walks on the property. The Yurt was very nice and wondering to sleep in during a thunderstorm. Nice low key low maintenance place to get away! Will come again.

Had a great stay in Kristina's yurt. A no-frills space with all the basics you need on a very pretty property tucked in the mountains. The weather was cool and rainy all weekend so we made good use of the wood burning stove — very cozy. If it was different weather, we would've made more use of the nearby river for swimming and trails for hiking. A perk is the yurt isn't far from Bristol if you want to drop down there for a delicious breakfast at the cafe Vermont Minifactory. Would definitely stay here again!

We LOVE to stay at this yurt! It’s very peaceful and relaxing. One of us loves the star gazing and the other loves the trails so there is something for both of us! I highly recommend a stay here when you are in the area!
