Holiday rentals with breakfast in Hudson County

Martha and her husband were perfect hosts! The house is beautiful and was a perfect location to visit family for us.. She always had food in the fridge and coffee made to start our day! Being natives to Staten Island, they were very helpful in finding good places to eat and activities to do! We will definitely be back again!

I recently stayed at this place with group of friends, and it was great. The host is amazing, she was very helpful and responsive at all the times. The place felt just like home and exactly like pictures. Thanks Temilola for hosting us ! Would definitely stay here again.

It is quite a drive from NYC because of traffic, but the house is big and the neighborhood was pretty quiet and felt safe! The house is beautiful and clean and very accommodating!

Renee was a great host. Check in was easy, the garage and doors were easy to use, Renee was responsive to all of our questions and the house comfortably slept our family of 2 adults, 3 kids and a baby. There are a ton of amenities like a wine fridge and smart TV that meant we could have a chilled glass of red while the kids found their favorite shows. The house is beautiful and sits on a scenic hillside in South Orange. It’s easy to walk up the hill and see panoramas of NYC. We loved walking to get bagels with our kids or grabbing pizza from one of the many great spots nearby. The streets are also great for running with wide running lanes and challenging hills. We had such a great time spending most of July here.

Defina was amazing! We had issues with the place with some of the electricity and she helped us immediately as well as was quick in responding. She was even kind enough to give us a return on a credit for the issue. The breakfast was awesome and more than expected. More than enough for the entire family. Only reason there were some stars were not filled was because the neighborhood was quite dangerous. Don’t walk around the area, straight in and out from the uber to the house.

Hosts were very responsive both before we got there and once we got there. The house is spacious, rhe kitchen and bathroom are brand new and the furniture is comfortable. Great huge TV. We went into the city each day and it took about 30 min. Great deal for NYC adjacent and the amount of space we got.

Ben’s house was truly a storybook stay! Our family came into town for the Holidays to visit our daughter who lives a few towns over. The house is very charming and well equipped with everything you would need for any length stay. The location is really awesome! Plenty of excellent restaurants and shops that are walkable. The highlight of our stay was the train station right next door, it made going in and out of New York City very easy and pleasant. Overall Ben was a great host, he went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated and we will be sure to look his house up again when we come back to the area.

Quite peaceful, felt like it was my own place would definitely come back for another stay.

Very nice cozy place, nice neighborhood near branch brook park (the one with all the cherry blossoms in April). Inside of home is very nice and clean. Bathroom was great and tv in room was appreciated. Thanks!

We have been thinking, if we should pay a little more for this accomodation and now we are so happy that we did ! The room is very cozy and bed is comfy and big. You have TV in the room available. Area is calm and very nice. There are several bus stops nearby (max 10min by walk). But the best of it was the host Marlene. She is so kind and helpful and very caring. When she had time, she made us some breakfest in the morning. There were always some things to eat in the fridge. Also, when my girlfriend was sick, she helped us with everything in her free time. We really recommend, you should go with this airbnb! :) Do not think about anything else.

Sierra is a super responsive host and answered to all my request very promptly. The flat is perfectly located and my entire stay went great. I hope to return very soon!

The scenery was breathtaking. Definitely enjoyed our stay. We plan on doing it again in the near future.

If I could give Grace and her place 100 stars I would! Grace made me feel right at home! She was so welcoming and kind. Her place was so peaceful, clean, and comfortable. She went above and beyond. I can’t say enough great things about this place and host! If you get the chance to stay here, consider yourself lucky!

Affordable and nice place!

David is welcoming and helpful; this is a great place to stay if you are needing to be in the vicinity (for me, visiting elder and getting some work done during parts of days). The room is cozy and clean, comfortable bed and good desk -- along with bits of friendly conversation, it suited me well. I'll be checking availability next time I'm back in the area.

I had such a lovely stay! Tom and Marie went above and beyond—starting my day by dusting off my car (a small touch that meant a lot), and cooking me a delicious homemade breakfast early enough for me to make it to my car show. I also got to meet Oreo, their sweet stray, who made the stay even more special. There’s a lot of generosity and love in this place. Highly recommend!

I was lucky enough to get a room here last minute and even more lucky to get the Amazon room. Super cosy. Main light brightens the room tremendously with pure bright white light. Also lamp with dimmer by the bed with usb ports was convenient and a nice touch. Love the blackout shades, got some really good sleep. The bed was very was heavenly and very big. The smart TV was exception quality also very big and seemed more so than the pics. Great space to move around in, lovely welcoming gifts. The continental breakfast was better than most hotels. I wanted to toast my cinnamon raisin bagel, I used the air fryer and forgot I had a toaster in the room😆 My only complaint is that it wasn’t available for more days after, really enjoyed my night there. Also the hosts were very responsive and quick to message me back everything I asked, so accommodating. Close distance to trains.

Ms King’s home was such a delight. The views a gorgeous, the wildlife very plentiful, and the home is pristine. I wish I had more time to enjoy time with the house, nature, and the host, Bien, who was so friendly. You can tell she loves the property, the animals, and servicing her guests to the best. When I’m back in town, I’ll be checking to see if there’s availability at Ms King’s home. The only place I want to stay at in Rockland Lake.

My husband and I came up from Yonkers, NY for Memorial Day weekend. We booked Eleanor's place and could not be more pleased with our decision. The guest suite was exactly as pictured. A nice quiet respite from the day's activities. Eleanor was such a wonderful and friendly host. She made us feel right at "home" from the minute we walked through the door. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the amazingly delicious breakfast Eleanor served us each morning. Eleanor's place was beyond wonderful and if I'm ever in the area there's nowhere else I'd rather stay.

Danielle is a great host and the place is clean and beautiful. We had many good recommendations from her and our communication was excellent. The location is very good, walkable to many good restaurants and bars. Highly recommend!
