“Most welcoming couple. Everything was as described on the web. Kitchen has everything you need and was clean and tidy. House was cosy and warm. The steps to the front door are not a problem as there is level access to the rear. It was actually nice to forego a TV for a few days 😊. Will definitely return.”
First floor one bedroom flatlet with a dining area/kitchenette and private bathroom. Set in semi rural area yet close to Huddersfield centre. The space has private, independent access and open aspects to the front and rear. Private parking space included. There is a side garden to sit in on summer evenings/BBQ. Would suit family and friends visiting students at Huddersfield University. Also people working away from home in the area.
“Carol has thought of everything to make a stay extra special....short of a butler or maid serving us breakfast in bed l can't think of anything that wasn't thought of and catered for. Being also a science teacher she has come up with a winning formula!!!”
Built in 1880, this bright yet cosy stone cottage house is located in Huddersfield, with great transport links to the M62, on several bus routes and 2 miles from the town centre, 10 minutes walk from the village of Lindley.
“I really enjoyed staying in this cosy homely place. The hosts were more than helpful and gave quick detailed responses. Think this is great value for money and I’m a perfect area for being close to all listed amenities and the hospital and beautiful village of lindley. Loved the little touches like the house slippers and masks (during covid 19) just wish I’d had more time there & to enjoy the lovely garden area, I would definitely stay again and recommend. Many thanks once again. Xx”
