Cozy Cottage on South Shore. 30 min from Halifax!

A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. The place was very organized and welcoming. It had everything we could need, it was in a very clean condition, and very well equipped. There was a guide with things to do and places for food. One thing to keep in mind is that there is an open roof so id recommend bringing eye masks. It was fun watching the wild life out the window.

Jennie's place was fantastic! it was well stocked, very clean, beautiful and really felt like a retreat. we don't often return to the same rental but would definitely come back again! recommend for a family get away or a group of friends.

It was a very nice stay, not as private as we would have wished, but that was OK. the trailer was clean and had everything we needed, from utensils to a propane BBQ and a Propane stove inside. The shower had great pressure and lots of hot water. It was also within a short drive of the Shore Club which made for a fantastic Saturday night. (Lucky Cabs was a great cab company for us too) The hot tub was very relaxing. Overall great weekend.

Absolutely perfect is how I would describe Kristine's place. Nestled in an ocean cove, the boathouse is clean, bright and extremely cozy. The woodstove was nice for the cool nights. Amazing views and access to the water. I didn't use the kayaks but I walked the beautiful trail at Graves Island Park which is a one minute drive from the boathouse. Grocery shopping is a few minutes drive to Chester. Easy driving distance to Lunenburg, Bridgewater and South Shore beaches. I let Kristine know ahead of time that I was towing a utility trailer and she made arrangements for me to park it at a nearby property. Thank you Kristine! Great host, great stay, great area. I did not want to leave but I will be back!

This Airbnb was absolutely beautiful! The location was amazing, 10 minutes or less to Lunenburg, 15 minutes to Mahone bay, 20 minutes to Bridge Water, 25 minutes or less to Chester. The accommodation itself was clean, provided beautiful views of the salt water, the hot tub was in a great spot to allow to see everything! Wish the sun was out more so we could have soaked every second on the beautiful deck, with comfortable furniture, however it rained for one of our evenings. Wild flowers all around the property provided comfort and beauty! We felt comfortable and relaxed our whole stay! Highly recommend.

Ian's place was exactly as described. Everything was wonderful. Was peaceful and relaxing and they communicated when we had one small.ossur and came out and fixed the problem with a hour. The house was in easy driving from a lot of tourist places which was great. Thanks so much for sharing your place with us.
