The owner and the management team were easy to communicate with. Easy to reach and cared about our experience. The private pier was so nice. So easy to travel back and forth from the house. Pet friendly was a plus!

Jan's place was great for the price! Very nice couple that are very accommodating! We went shore bird watching and to the Keham board walk, so this was perfect base for exploration. Next trip going to see NASA and more bird watching

We loved the place, just big enough for the two of us & our small dog! Beautiful waterfront view on our private Patio, and spacious upstairs bedroom with view of bay from private balcony! Adorable cottage feel, quant, clean, with lots of character & 4 min to Noah’s Ark, restaurant across sm street from beautiful bay on dog friendly patios. Like a giant treehouse with great affordable food & drinks, We ate there three times, in three days!❤️❤️❤️ And can’t wait to go back there & the cottage. 😊❤️❤️

Home was beautiful. Great space private and quiet overlooking the water with small beach area

The perfect fishing camp! We launched our boat at Topwater. The boat lift at the house was super convenient with easy access to the bay. When we weren’t fishing we tried our luck catching crabs. Eddie was nice enough to let us use his crab traps. We caught a few! Eddie was a great host and very responsive. The house was clean and we enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our fishing trip. I’m sure we’ll be back!

I stay at a lot of AirBnBs. Miss Carol is the best host ever. The place is amazing due to beautiful view, near great restaurants, and so peaceful. You can’t beat the Galveston Bay view. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Our stay was perfect, we were right next to Sylvan Beach Park, the back windows looked out over the bay, it was beautiful. Our amenities were as described. We are going back again in a few weeks we liked it that much!

The house was beautiful, very big and spacious. We really enjoyed the house but we did find the cleanliness of the house good! We kept finding hair everywhere and dust. Also, I feel like it was false advertisement because we booked for spring break and we solely booked because of the pool and fishing which Molly didn’t tell us until after we book that the pool wouldn’t be available until May. There was a few muddy catfish in the lake we waited all day long and of the whole time waiting we caught maybe four catfish in 3 1/2 days but there are plenty snapping turtles in the lake. The grass was not cut. We did see a snake while fishing, so be extra careful, checking in was horrible. We had to go in through the back door because is was unlocked, we never got check in instructions from Molly. We didn’t receive a key because we had no code for the lockbox on the front door if we wanted to leave and come back, other than that the house is beautiful we love the bidet and shower head.

We hired the place for the weekend, and it’s an amazing location with fantastic activities. Everyone was entertained the whole time. Hosts very responsive and recommended jet ski rental at the property one day which was icing on the cake. Thanks!

Beautiful home and the location is amazing. The sunrise and sunsets are breathtaking. You also get an awesome view of the Boardwalk. The host was very helpful and quick to respond. I would love to stay again sometime. If you plan to bring kids or luggage please be mindful it is two flights of stairs and no elevator so carrying luggage and a baby can be tiresome at first but the views and location make it worth it.

Great place to stay! The views are AMAZING and so is the home. The host is friendly and responsive and makes you feel at home. The neighbors are super friendly and the neighborhood is nice, clean, and peaceful. This is a great place to stay!

Jam’s place is well cared for and accurately depicted in the photos. If or when in the area, we’d booked again. Pluses: The place is spacious in the common areas, with 5 larger TVs total in the home; two in the kitchen/living room area, and one in each if the 3 bedrooms, and all with streaming services available. Updated fridge snd stove/oven and ceiling fans in every room. Pleased place was generously stocked with paper goods, towels, washcloths, bed linens, extra mattresses, plus an updated washer and dryer set. My husband and daughter fished off the private pier and my daughter caught her first large crab. Good to know: Car parking was easiest using the covered lower patio/gated car port area. The lockbox on the front gate is ONLY to access the keys for the garage, which is also well stocked with a grill and includes a half bath (so convenient when/if hanging out down stairs). P.S. The garage keys only work on the smaller back door off the covered patio.

This home is very charming. Sitting on a corner, all the views look over water. We didn’t have a chance to enjoy the pier across the street but it looked nice. Bedroom has big windows on 2 sides and both look into the bay. We had the curtains open and got to watch a storm come one night. Above that is the rooftop hot tub with a great view. We enjoyed that with a glass of wine! There’s a restaurant right next door where we walked over and brought our fish we caught one day for them to cook. The house had everything we needed ! We would definitely book this again.

Wow! Ken’s BnB was exactly what was pictured and described. From the time we met Janet with the keys at check-in and walkthrough, to the time we checked-out…everything was flawless and comfy! A/C worked well, appliances worked well, showers had hot water, beds were comfy, and nothing broke down. Fishing pier was the main attraction for us as we were there for our annual fishing trip. We caught everything that the Texas Gulf had to offer in regards to in shore fishing - reds, blacks, specks, and even hooked on a flounder before the line broke. Croakers were in abundance as well. Pier had night lights and covers. We got rained on a lot but the covers helped for the most part. Rain came side ways. Ken was responsive to all of our questions. Janet was very clear with instructions upon arrival. Like I said, we got rained on a lot and delayed our departure a little. They were ok with us leaving 10-15 minutes after checkout time. We loved the place and hope to book again! Thank you!
