Townhome holiday rentals in Hotwells

My wife and I have just returned from our 2nd visit to Hilary’s Bradford on Avon cottage. It was wonderful last year and it was wonderful again this year. We loved everything about our stay. Hilary is a very responsive and kind host. She, once again, provided clear instructions for our stay along with sets of keys for everyone. When we came home one night to a minor electrical problem, she got back to us immediately and set us up with an excellent repairman. The cottage is very well appointed and located. It was an excellent base for walks around town and also for accessing the train station to go to Bath, Bristol, Salisbury, etc. The furniture, especially the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms felt newly renovated with a good supply of quality towels. Hilary thoughtfully provided both medium weight and light weight blankets to accommodate the change in temperatures during the month were we there. We felt blessed and renewed to be there and look forward to returning.

This is fantastic find. Sug and cosy, it is very well situated for easy access to the attractions of Wells and beyond. It is so thoughtful of Fiona to provide nice touches like fresh milk, especially as I arrived after the shops had closed. It's a lovely mews cottage; like being embraced by an old friend.

This is a lovely place to stay. Penny personally let us in and talked through the property and how to get into town. It is home from home, with a well stocked kitchen, super shower, comfortable beds and lovely area to lounge with an outside seating area too! Penny kindly leaves a welcome pack, with snacks, cereal, milk, fruit juice and biscuits. Any queries we had, were answered very promptly and I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

Great accommodation in a very good location. Easy to walk to all the historic sites, restaurants and parks. The accommodation was well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is within the city centre, hence the great location, so can be noisy at night but earplugs helped to counter the noise.

The pictures don't do this place justice, every detail had been thought out - the decor was so stylish. It's beautiful! Check in was easy, communication was good. Extra thoughtful touches, like 4 beds had been set up, milk in the fridge etc, things like this really made the stay extra special. The beds were super comfy! Perfect location. Great place and host, will definitely be returning.

Sophie is the perfect host. She is incredibly helpful and responsive, and provided us plenty of information about local bus routes. We really loved our stay in their beautiful home, which is surprisingly quiet - a peaceful nook away from the bustling locale. Tastefully decorated, open and airy yet also cosy and comfortable. Clean, tidy and clutter free. The sofa bed provided is firm yet comfortable - we slept well every night! The provided clothes rail was a great addition, giving us a place to hang clothes. We were also provided a shelf in the bathroom, a kitchen cupboard, a drawer in the freezer and space in the fridge. So incredibly accommodating to say this is their home! I don't even know where to start with Kedi the cat. She is the friendliest and most polite cat that I have ever had the pleasure of spending time with. She is the perfect mix of independent and companionable. We shall miss her company so much! We would happily return. The perfect home away from home.

Fantastic place , really nice , plenty of space in the kitchen , very comfortable , good sized rooms , well equipped , really enjoyed our stay here , it’s a welcoming house, very well done decor , nice touches , very homely feeling to the house, everything you need , easy walking to distance to town. Truly lovely town house to inhabit for the night. Gorgeous views to the canal, city, allotments and railway line (we're trainspotters ha). Defintely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alan and Revi's place and would definitely recommend it to others. We especially liked having breakfast on the terrace - it's a real suntrap in the mornings! The location is great and within easy walking distance of lots of shops, cafes and places to eat. We also really appreciated Alan and Revi accommodating our request for a slightly later check out time on our last day - thank you!

I stayed with a friend as part of a larger group meeting for a long weekend in Bristol. The location of the accommodation is perfect. Just a five minute walk, if that, from the M Shed and only a little further to waterside pubs and restaurants. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the area seemed quiet and safe. Access to the allocated parking space is a bit convoluted, but the space is near the property and behind a locked gate. Some reviews say that the parking is a bit tight, but I was able to park a large estate car with easy access to the doors on both sides while a large van was parked in an adjacent space. It just relies on everyone keeping to the marked bays. All told, a very comfortable and convenient location which I would definitely consider for a future visit.

An elegant town house in the centre of Bath, it was perfect for our group of 8 friends celebrating 60th birthdays. A lovely weekend in a lovely house -would highly recommend.

A great place in Bristol! Clifton, no doubt is the place to be in Bristol. But Robert's place made it the best. The location is very close to cafes, restaurants and supermarkets.. All within walking distance. A short stroll from Brunel Bridge, a nice walk uphill. The property is so spacious and very well designed and build. Highly recommended if you are planning to stay in Bristol.

We were five ladies on a celebratory two day trip to Bath and we chose Anastasia’s lovely accommodation because it was central to city amenities and it also meant we could have a bedroom each! We were not disappointed as the house was welcoming, cosy, extremely well equipped with great showers/bath; the beds super comfy with high quality linen. You would need to be aware it’s a town house on three floors, plus the kitchen, ‘bijou’ breakfast area and a bathroom is below ground level, so lots of stairs. But not a problem if you’re careful and fit enough to tackle them! Our host was very responsive, especially when we had a slight problem re entering the property, just after we arrived. Anastasia’s instructions were clear and this was soon resolved. We’d love to return. Thank you, Anastasia!

Was perfect for our requirements, an annual reunion of friends in our 50s. Town walkable but quieter than being in the city centre. A lovely house, lots of room and nice outdoor space a bonus too. We liked the local area too. An ideal sunny weekend too.

We had a fantastic stay at Rosamond's place. It was exactly as described, with everything we could possibly need provided. The large playroom had loads of toys our little ones were very excited to play with. The garden was super fun with the slide, swing, trampoline and football goal. Lovely to sit out in the sunshine. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we could need. It was lovely sitting round the big table together. The sitting room was very comfortable with a beautiful view over the garden and park behind. Nearby we enjoyed the local play café, trendy coffee shops and local pubs. It was a pleasant walk to the bus stop and an easy journey into the city centre. Rosamond was a great host, checking what we might need for our young children before our stay, easy to communicate with and very welcoming. We would highly recommend a stay at Rosamond's, it surpassed our expectations and we had a really fun and relaxing stay.

A really terrific stay. Incredibly kind and welcoming hosts and the house itself is stunning. We had a very special few days and hope we’ll get another chance to stay again.

I would like to say that the house was very very clean and the linen was spotless. Bridget has attention to detail; the kitchen is stocked with essentials such as sugar, tea and the fridge also had a bottle of milk and water (very useful if one arrives late) not forgetting the little packets of biscoff; the bathroom stocked with shampoo, soap etc just like a hotel. She combines a hotel feel with a home feel very well. My son made an online order and items arrived after we had left and she went out of her way to resend it. Quick response to any issue, for example the boiler stopped working and it was fixed within a couple of hours. Very nice. We would come back

We loved our stay at this wonderful house in Frome with our dog. The brand new kitchen and dining room renovation is just beautiful. We felt very lucky how new it all was! The house is a mixture of original features and modern touches, we absolutely loved it. Very dog friendly and Ryan is a lovely responsive host. Comfy beds, and lovely shower and large bath we used both! Great location just a few seconds walk into town. We loved Frome. It was also such a pretty town and we especially loved Cheap St. with all the independent shops and a little stream. We also had a fantastic meal at the Little Walcot. 5 stars from us and our pup. We will be back!

We had a great stay here for my best friend's hen party. The rooms are all lovely, beds very comfortable, everyone commented on how nice the house is. Great location within walking distance of lots of bars and restaurants in town. Jo was always very responsive to my messages and helped answer lots of questions I had, thank you for a great stay.
