The inside of the house is bright, because of the big windows and light colors inside. The house is located a 20 minutes drive from both Akureyri and Dalvík - two larger cities. Hi. We have a vacation cottage for rent at a farm near Akureyri. Distance to Akureyri is 20min driving. The cottage is located on our farmland and we live in the farmhouse about 800m away up the hill. We do not farm livestock but there might be the occasional sheep grazing the fields. Guests are welcome to pick mushroom on the land and august is prime blueberry season and you can pick blueberries right outside the cottage.
