Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Hörgársveit

We were going to drive up to the cabin from Reykjavik and were told by many people that it would be a thought drive because of an incoming storm so I messaged the hosts and they were incredibly responsive and helpful making sure we were able to get up to the cabin and enjoy our stay on schedule even contacting the road services for us to make sure we would be ok to drive up

Had an Amazing time away with the help of a great stay and location.

You will feel like in your family home. The host is very helpfull and welcoming. 👍

Beautiful location. Near a ski resort and close to the heart of downtown. Home was very cozy for our family of five and everyone had their own beds. Very peaceful area. A short 5 minute drive to downtown and grocery. Host was very responsive and friendly. Would stay here again.

Une des meilleures guesthouse de notre voyage. Accueil chaleureux avec visite de la maison par les hôtes. La guesthouse est grande et agréable avec des chambres thématiques décorées avec soin. Les lits sont très grands et très confortables. La cuisine est bien équipée et donne sur une terrasse avec jacuzzi. Il y a deux frigos pour les voyageurs avec des caisses de rangement en fonction des chambres. On se sent comme à la maison dans cette guesthouse 🙂

Beautiful location and very conveniently situated close to Akureyri. Kitchen is well appointed, bathrooms are spacious and clean, good and comfortable mattress on the bed too! Gummi was very helpful when I had problems with my rental car, recommending a repair shop and contacting them for me. I appreciated his pro-active communication when there were weather and road warnings. I stayed here for a week to see Northern Iceland and couldn't have asked for a better experience or location.

Ci siamo trovati in un piccolo mondo a parte, dalle ciabatte a disposizione all'ingresso, alla cucina superatrezzata e conviviale, la cura degli arredi un pò stile vintage, l'attenzione ai dettagli ci hanno accolto con una devozione rara da trovare. Gummi, il nostro host è stato veramente gentile e molto disponibile, bellissima esperienza nell'Islanda del nord, lo consiglio!

We stayed at Guðmundur's place for one night. The location of this place is absolutely gorgeous as it faces the beautiful fjords right across. The hosts are very kind and friendly, and made us feel right at home. The place is cozy. We booked a room with a private bath which was just sufficient for us. There's a shared kitchen upstairs, and also a shared bath was available in addition to our private, which helped immensely. The kitchen is quite well stocked; the hosts have made it very cooking friendly. There's an outside patio with a hot pool setup available. There are also so many toys and games available to use, which my kid absolutely loved and was thoroughly engaged with. Overall we had a lovely stay and we'd recommend this to anyone visiting the Akureyri location.

buen lugar para quedarse si estás haciendo la ruta por el norte de Islandia. Las habitaciones no eran muy grandes pero eran muy cómodas, especialmente el colchón y las sábanas. El desayuno no estaba incluido (que es algo que habíamos entendido por el anuncio) pero tienes una cocina disponible. había un jacuzzi en el exterior para uso de los clientes. Muy recomendBle

In Saras Haus haben wir am ersten Tag erst etwas Ordnung schaffen und putzen müssen um uns wohl zu fühlen. Vielleicht sehen andere Leute das entspannter, aber wir hatten etwas höhere Ansprüche, was Sauberkeit betrifft. Es war auch wenig Platz um eigene Dinge und Anziehsachen zu verstauen. Danach haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit genossen. Es war gemütlich und erholsam, der Blick fantastisch und der Hot Tub ein super Extra!! Wir waren fast jeden Tag darin, auch bei Sturm und Hagel… In der Küche ist alles vorhanden und es gibt sogar Spielzeug und Bücher für Kinder, was uns richtig gut gefallen hat. Sara hat uns schnell geantwortet und auch einen Discount auf eine Walsafari ermöglicht. Vielen Dank für alles, Sara!

This was a great place to stay, it was in a great location for our adventure in Akureyri. The place was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our trip. The host was great with communication and helpful.Highly recommend!

After we had been looking forward to staying in Heiðas cabin for so long, we just fell in love with it even more from the very moment we arrived. What a gem <3 Aparts from being perfectly clean and well-equipped, the cabin simply just spread such charme and warmth that it was the best possible place we could have returned to after long days of exploration and adventure. Heiða, you are a wonderful host and we would love to come back. Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful house <3

Lieu paisible et reposant, nous avons passé seulement une seule nuit mais nous aurions aimé dormir une nuit de plus tellement c’était agréable et paisible. On a également apprécié le jacuzzi avec l’eau chaude, On recommande fortement.

Eine sehr schöne und gemütliche Hütte in einem kleinen Wald, nahe dem Haus der Besitzer. Der Wald ist wunderschön und die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Man kann von dort viele Ausflüge unternehmen. Am letzten Abend haben wir im Meer bei Dalvik, etwa 20 Minuten von der Unterkunft entfernt, mehrere Buckelwale vom Hafen aus beobachten können! Wenn man auf der Terasse sitzt hat man einen schönen Blick aufs Wasser und den Gesang der Vögel um einen herum. Danke für die schöne Unterkunft!
