The Lookout Apartment . This place is a little slice of Heaven it has sweeping views of outer Kachemak Bay and Kenai Mnts. and 3 major Volcanoes across Cook Inlet. It can accommodate up to 4 -6 singles or 2 couples and is close to Down town and the Harbor, 5 minute drive to town or 15 minute drive "honestly" to the Homer Spit and Harbor. Great last minute spot that I booked. The view of the lake is beautiful and watching the planes take off and land. Only thing I didn’t account for was how loud these little planes are especially when they’re taking off at 6:30am. If you want to sleep in just keep that in mind. I would stay here again though.

Helena’s place was great we felt right at home and had everything we needed in the unit. Very clean and well appointed, with thoughtful amenities like a spotting scope and bear spray. Nice and quiet as there wasn’t much traffic on the lake this time of year. Good value and location. Will stay again.

This place was a great place to stay! Right across from salty dogs and near lots of shops! I don’t know if it was mentioned but you have to park down the road to avoid your car being towed. Also, it may be a good idea to mention footage of the apartment. We thought we could lay down a small blow up mattress as well and there wasn’t room. Small place but perfect for a couple.

This is our second stay at this place and was as good as the first. Well cleaned and peaceful and just the right amount of space for us. Hosts were very nice to leave bottled water in the fridge for drinking and coffee and a few snacks to munch on. Easy place to get in and out of and great views.

Staying at Old and Bold was fantastic! June and her husband Felix were wonderful hosts and are now my new friends. The home was immaculate and the view spectacular. It felt like staying with family. June and her three dogs were wonderful! My dog Maddie loved playing with them and June checked on her when I was away. The only thing I would say, is that the listing made it look like I was renting the whole home, but it was only the bottom floor. It ended up being better that way and my stay was incredible. I will be back!

This place was perfect! Super close to town but with amazing views from the hot tub on the upstairs deck. Spacious inside with a well appointed kitchen. AND a mama moose and her little calf came wandering through the yard on our first night! I highly recommend this spot—we’ll be back!

Juxia and Stephen were fantastic hosts! They were very welcoming and tended to anything I needed. So happy to have chosen this place.
