Family-friendly holiday rentals in Höfn

This cabin was absolutely stunning! It provided a peaceful and cozy space that was surrounded by breathtaking views. We loved relaxing in the hot tub while overlooking the fjord. Giacomo and his wife Francesca were both very friendly and we loved talking to them to learn more about them and Iceland. Would highly recommend staying here.

Greeted by Elsa & her two farm kitties. Woke up to fresh bread and coffee. Such a lovely stay.

Lugar de ensueño. El dueño nos fue a recibir personalmente, pero llegamos tarde y no pudimos conocerlo. Eso fue un lindo gesto de su parte, en ningún lugar que nos hospedamos anteriormente hicieron eso. Gracias! Apartamento precioso, camas cómodas, entorno silencioso y hermoso. Fácil de encontrar y con todo lo necesario para cocinar. En fin una maravilla de lugar, recomendado al 200%.

Wonderful location Comfortable house Host was great and we were surprised by his visit with chocolates. He was very informative.

We had a magical stay in the cottage overlooking the fjord. The cottage was extremely clean and had everything we needed - the hot tub was a much-appreciated luxury. Definitely a highlight on our honeymoon!!! We hope to return one day and sign the guest book again - such a sweet idea.

The waterfront location is gorgeous ! Our hostess- Syrri was incredibly informative and very helpful! I purposely booked this location for the waterside, gym, hot tub, sauna and pool. All of those amenities were included in our Airbnb rental fee!!!! This was day four of the “Iceland ring tour” and we all needed a little space and some downtime! The Airbnb rental is also across the street from the grocery store and the liquor store! BROVO! We had difficulties with our Van Rental breaking down. We had a 12 midnight check-in and Syrri allowed us to stay until 2 PM, which was so gracious🙏. We would recommend this locations to people who travel with extended families and friends! Pretty nice stay for 5 people. We had a great time with the TV and the nice sofa bed.

What a beautiful, peaceful location! The space was perfect for our family of 3. I liked that we had a little fridge, a pot for coffee/tea in the room. The shared area is perfectly stocked with everything you would need to make a great meal, the shower/laundry area was clean and the hosts are wonderful (including the doggies that roam the property). The fresh baked bread prepared by Elsa in the morning with a cup of coffee hits the spot. Don't hesitate to stay here, wished we could have stayed a few more days.

Wij verbleven hier 2 nachten. Het is een mooie rustige locatie aan het water. Erg gezellig ingericht. Helaas geen weer om buiten te zitten, want er was een leuke plek voor gemaakt.

Nous avions les appartements 1 et 2. Les appartements communiquent donc idéal pour une famille jusqu’à 6 personnes. Je n’ai pas trouvé la machine à laver indiqué sur l’annonce, dommage.

Bergþóra's place is at a very picturesque location, well located to do a day trip around the East Fjords. We got quite late checking in, but were able to check in quite smoothly. Bergþóra was very helpful - she helped us out with some kitchen requirements as well. The place is okay for a small family (we were 3, with a toddler), but the common area could be a bit small for a larger group. We stayed here for two nights and had a lovely stay. Thank you Bergþóra!

Very cozy, far enough away from Egilsstadir to feel peaceful and quiet, but very close to be convenient. House had everything we needed!
