Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Historic District, Wilmington

Although there are a couple small areas that can be improved, I still give it a 5-star review! The location is excellent: the place is located in historic area in Downtown Wilmington, waking distance ( within 10 minutes) to a lots good restaurants, bars, and the riverwalk! We enjoyed the downtown vibe by just walking within few minutes, and also enjoyed the quiet time during the night! Perfect location! The place is newly and very well renovated, very clean and comfortable! So comfortable, we did not even went to go out sometimes! Even though it’s street parking, parking has never been an issue during our 2 weeks staying! We could be able to park right in front of the place every time! The host - Sabeer Christian provided outstanding customer service! Very very appreciative the help we received! We are very satisfied during our staying here, will definitely come back again!

Jeff was great with communication and the place itself was lovely. Appreciated the central AC and spacious rooms :)

Cozy and intimate place to stay if you want to get away for minute. Very quiet and plenty of parking space. Great job in keeping the place nice and clean. I would definitely recommend a great place to stay.

I was one of 3 females staying there. One bedroom had a king; second: queen bed. Comfortable. Cute kitchen, back deck. Quiet street. Walking distance to two really great restaurants & the Bellamy mansion. $12 Uber to River front (or 7 minute drive.). Parked our car in the driveway. Seth was very responsive & helpful. We felt he was trustworthy. We loved our accommodation & continually commented on how lucky we were to have found it.

Enjoyed my three day getaway. Our stay was very peaceful! The cottage was cute and cozy. The Hosts were great as well! They made sure we had everything we needed. I would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay very much and would return again in a heartbeat. Great location, quiet neighborhood, very clean home with a lot of amenities. Matt and Jenny were great hosts and we appreciate them sharing their beautiful historic home with us!

This air bnb was great for our stay. The house itself was awesome and the beds were really comfortable. The neighborhood was fine driving distance to all things, but did not feel the safest walking home at night. All in all it was a good place to stay and the house itself had everything you could need when staying away from home. Kyler was quick to respond when our lock code wasn't working, and we had the problem solved in less than 5 minutes, so that was much appreciated.

We just returned from a week stay at Helen's "Green Cottage" and it was everything we expected and more. The property was very clean and stocked well with paper products, coffee, etc. The filtered water in the kitchen sink was a bonus. Location was perfect - a very short (5 minute) walk to historic downtown Wilmington with plenty of restaurants, entertainment, bars, riverfront, etc. We definitely plan to stay here again on our next visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bob's place! It was just as advertised, clean and welcoming. The balcony over the river is where we put in the most hours, just watching the changes in the river, the various boats, and people-watching on the river walk. Everything we did was within minutes of the condo...great restaurants and shopping. Bob provided plenty of info and recommendations for eating and sightseeing. We were there on Memorial Day and could easily see the USS North Carolina lit up in red, white and blue. Even though it was cloudy/rainy most of the time, the awning on the balcony kept us dry and comfortable. A couple of time we had questions for Bob and he was immediately responsive and helpful. It was just the relaxing getaway we were hoping for! We would recommend this spot anytime for 2 guests!

This is a beautiful apartment in the perfect spot for a quick stay in Wilmington. It’s close to everything! We loved caprice bistro which was just a stones throw away. We love Wilmington!

Megan’s place was bright, spacious and posh. Everything was sparkling clean, newly upgraded and very well appointed. The king size memory foam mattress slept like a dream, and the apartment definitely feels like nice hotel suite. Best of all the breezes from the river off the balcony made hot and humid days so much more pleasant. I also really appreciated the fact the building has an elevator for bringing luggage up. Megan was a caring and attentive hostess. Highly recommend.

This quaint downtown condo was in a perfect spot for our 3-day Wilmington visit. Generally, communication was good. We pretty much left the car parked and roamed the downtown/historic/waterfront areas. A parking pass was provided in the room. Keep in mind that if you arrive on a Saturday, as we did, you may have to really vie for a spot. Also, there is a steep double staircase to climb with your luggage. We were in Room 11 – there is a guest common area “The Atrium” right next to the bedroom so could be noisy. For light sleepers, note that the fridge hums/clicks a lot. Be sure to bring your own soap/gel for the shower. The place was as advertised on the website and the apartment was clean, however, the sofa and ottoman could use a closer steam cleaning. On the weekend, you may get party noise/music from nearby venues into the early hours. We enjoyed our stay.

We so enjoyed our stay! The property was just as pictured and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Morgan was responsive and proactive, as well!

The condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The parking was very convenient. Everything for us was within walking distance so it was nice to just park the car and forget about it. Being right on the Riverwalk was great. If you want to see Wilmington NC I highly recommend this condo and host.

Great location! There's a roof top bar one floor above which was really fun! Can be noisy on the weekends, but we expected that so it was perfect! Really great place to stay if you're looking for a really convenient location to all the bars/restaurants in Wilmington. We were able to bar crawl and walk right back home. We had a great time! It was awesome.

Absolutely loved this stay! The location was unbeatable right in front of the water with the most beautiful view. It was a cute little spot that had everything I needed for a perfect one-night stay. Super cozy, clean, and convenient. Would definitely come back!

Clean and spotless. This cozy Airbnb is literally on top of Cape Fear River. Panoramic views and perfectly located. The Riverwalk below takes you anywhere you wan to go. We parked and walked everywhere. Coming to town mainly for a concert and it is a 20 minute walk to Live Oak Pavilion. Lots of coffee shops nearby and we loved the Prost Biergarten best!
