Family-friendly holiday rentals in Himarë

Beautiful old villa, full of character, perched on the hillside, with a spectacular view of Albania. The building and especially all the exterior area is top quality. The pool area is beautifully constructed and the garden well maintained. The whole villa is perfumed with the honeysuckle and jasmine that covers the boundary wall. Inside there’s a really spacious living area with an extra large kitchen which has all the things you might need. The bedrooms are a good size and there are four spotless bathrooms, two en-suite. The drive to the villa isn’t the easiest but worth it. Some might find the mattresses to little too firm

We had a great time at Konstantinos's, and more specifically at Olga's. The owner of the place is very nice (thank you for the cakes on arrival!), very responsive, always available and very discreet. The apartment matches the photos. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The jacuzzi is great, especially at dusk with the sea view! This is probably the best Airbnb you can find on the island. A big thank you for hosting us. We recommend it!!

The apartment was a 5min walk to the beach, it had a beautiful view and was super peaceful. We loved our stay and will definitely go back!!

The villa is located in the north of the island in a quiet location, right next to another villa. The villa is separated into two floors that connect from the outside. A beautiful outdoor place to enjoy the BBQ and summer evenings. The indoor space is a little small to accommodate 10 people at a time during meals. The heated pool and spa are very nice. And the well appointed pool area. Very nice stay spent in Villa Mare e Monti, I recommend it.

We enjoyed staying at Richard's place, Villa Eleanna. We had a wonderful time with the pool and the infrared sauna. All amenities were nearby and the landscape wonderful. WE would love to come back sometime.

We have been staying at Villa Maro for many years. The location and outside areas are superb. The inside is homely and clean. Giannis is a lovely man who responds very promptly and efficiently to any queries. Thank you for another great stay.

Would definitely rebook here when possible. This is a great location overall and the host was super accommodating and responsive. The villa was very nice, spacious and perfectly situated in the road to Ksamil. Front row seats to the beautiful Ionian sea and Corfu island. 5 stars!

This was our second visit to this wonderful villa... and I don't really want say how great it is because then it will always be fully booked! A perfect place to relax if you want a quiet time soaking up the sun and idling away the day. It's very peaceful with a gorgeous panoramic view from all three bedrooms and the pool. There are endless little terraces, balconies and corners to laze with a drink, a book, a pack of cards. And if you're happy to tackle the 367 steps, you can get down to a pretty little pebbled cove that feels like your own private beach. There are restaurants, supermarkets, ATMs and other beaches within walking distance. One word of warning: because there are stone steps to get to the villa and to go from room to room inside it, this wouldn't be a good place for toddlers or anyone with serious mobility issues.

Lovely apartment, just far enough away from the hustle and bussle of the centre but near enough for restaurants and Cafes. Main beach also close enough, 300-400 yds away. Whole family were lovely and friendly, spoke everyday to the children who loved speaking English to us, which was excellent..Beautiful garden and patio area to sit out for meals and to relax with a drink late at night....Can't recommend it enough....

Excellent place to stay. Food stores and restaurants in walkable distance. Parking in front of the building. Apartment spacious, very clean and has everything you need.

Very beautiful property and location. Well stocked with food upon check in. Abundant privacy with each bedroom on a different level with its own bathroom. Fotis was very accommodating when we locked ourselves out of the house.

Out of 6 homes in 8 days, this one is by far our favorite! The hosts are very welcoming, and so are their pets. Clear instructions, very responsive hosts, recommendations for several activities. The accommodation is very clean and the terrace is perfect for a quiet aperitif or breakfast. Their animals (1 dog and 1 cat) are adorable and very cuddly. Accommodation located at a height, so very quiet and safe street. I would 100% recommend this listing!

We have so many happy memories of our time at the cottage. For those with a sense of adventure, it’s a magical place to stay, hidden down a track about a 10min drive from the island’s handful of restaurants. Our 10 and 13year old especially loved bombing around in the beaten up old jeep, while we all appreciated the comfy beds, quirky styling and of course tree platform for star gazing. Calliope and Georgios are warm and friendly hosts, their relaxed way and local tips making our stay that extra bit special. Highly recommend.

This home is incredible!!! Packed with so much fascinating history, but with all the modern necessities. We felt very welcomed by Andreas and his family. Overall it was an amazing, unique experience that I can’t recommend highly enough.

Fantastic apartment in a great location amongst bars and restaurants. Host was super helpful and responsive to any queries about Sarande. Highly recommend staying here. Views and sunsets are sublime.

Villa Melanthi is magical, it’s even better than in the pictures. The view is breathtaking. Villa itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The pool is amazing and was in constant use, table tennis was fun too. Outside space is wonderful. The hosts Haitho and Spiros are wonderful and could not be any more helpful, we can’t praise them enough. They really helped make the stay a truly special one including a lovely welcome basket upon arrival. We are a family of 8 (6 adults and two children 13 & 11) the villa was a perfect size for us. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday ☀️😍

We had an amazing 10 days at Avlaki Beach. The house is stunning - the photos really don't do it justice; heaps of room and very well equipped. It was immaculate and the lovely lady who came in half way through the stay worked really hard and did a fantastic job. The house is in a beautiful location, the pool is large and clean and the gardens are just beautiful. We enjoyed eating outside and lounging by the pool and on the balconies. The rooms and beds are comfortable and there was plenty of hot water from strong showers. There is a huge amount to do outwith the villa, so it would suit anyone who is looking for either a relaxing or busy holiday. Evi was really responsive and very helpful and we took advantage of many of the recommendations in the guest book. The taverna next door served great quality food in a beautiful setting and we also ate at The White House, at Eucalyptus in San Stephano and up n the mountains at a couple of lovely tavernas, as well as BBQs at the house

A fabulous place with stunning views of Albania. Anthony was a great host and very helpful. The property was exactly as described and suited our group of 2 adults and 4 children perfectly. The pool was fantastic and access to the local beaches and bays was easy, both by car and on foot (though a little bit up and down). We would love to return and spend more time here at some point in the future.

Great place with an AMAZING view. Karolos gave us a very warm welcome with a big welcome basket that included local honey, marmalade, wine, cheese etc. He was also very responsive on a messenger throughout our stay which was very helpful. The place itself is very big. Has two separate parts. One which is a lower one, by the pool and it is a studio and the upper one which by itself is a full size house, has three bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Our favorite place to spend time was the huge terrace where we ate all our meals. It has a nice ceramic grill (Green Egg) which we tried for the first time, worked great, so we used it a lot. You can also use big open air grill by the pool downstairs. During our stay we were also able to pick fresh oranges from nearby trees (on the road leading to the house). I think these were some of the best oranges I ever ate . To sum up our family had an amazing time at Karolos house during our Easter holidays . And that view that I'll never forget... It's magnificent!

We had a fantastic stay there we’re 8 out of (2 of which were children) The location was perfect a 5 minute walk to the beach, where there were restaurants and 5 mins walk to the main road where there was a supermarket and plenty of restaurants, bars and some shops. Both Spiros & Rodolfos were very responsive when messaging and it was nice that there was someone there to check us in.
