Holiday rentals with a patio in Hilo Bay

The stay with Robynne was amazing! It's rare to find such a great host and such an incredibly cosy and super clean Airbnb. We would have loved to stay longer. We couldn't have imagined a better stay. It felt like home. We also got to meet the two huskies and they were super cute. All in all: 10 out of 10!! Mahalo Robynne and thank you for your hospitality!

This unit is in a great location for restaurants, shopping and morning runs. The condo was equipped with everything we needed including chairs, towels and a cooler for beach day. The beds were super comfortable too. There is also a great view of Mauna Kea when the clouds aren't completely engulfing the summit. I would definitely recommend Jenny's property to friends & family.

This cozy cute apartment with a fun balcony sitting area is in a great location. Christopher sent us some great restaurant and activity recommendations. It is close to down town and numerous parks and beaches. My husband enjoyed running in the estuary park next to the condo. The little pond with ducks running through the place was so cute. The apartment is on the third floor and little ways from the parking lot. We had a great stay and fun first time visiting Hilo.

I love the Airbnb, have everything you need for you to feel your in home. The parking lot is so dark at night there is not light but after that everything is perfect.

Sally's place did not disappoint--we so enjoyed being tucked away on the Big Island. There were plenty of nearby hikes and outdoor activities. It was also incredibly easy to just stay put and relax. We used the spot to get around to various locations on the island. We also had no issues driving back at night. Super great touches we appreciated, like having water shoes, snorkeling gear, and a cooler (all things we ended up using!). Appreciated the flexibility using the shared laundry machines. Sally also proactively offered a later check out on our last day since there was no on checking in. We hadn't planned on lingering, but ended up spending a little more time with our coffee next to the pond that morning!

We were very happy with our studio! Very clean , surrounded by beautiful plants and tons of different flowers. We had our dog with us and she had fun too. Being able to do our laundry was a great benefit and blessing. Jacob was very friendly nice and knowledgeable. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

Michelle and Joe are wonderful, kind hosts. The place is great - it’s big, clean, and well stocked. The lanai is amazing, as is the pool! It’s easy to walk to the coast, and in driving distance to Hilo and many waterfalls and hikes in the area. Michelle and Joe kindly gave us a tour around the property, showed us the gorgeous fruits as well as all the work they’ve done to improve the property. We even got to try different coconuts from their trees! We had a great time at Michelle and Joe’s place and will definitely book again when we return to the area. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Really quaint little place, exactly as described. Richard was a great host and provided everything we needed. It is slightly off the main road and down a gravel lane but the instructions were very clear and precise. We would come back.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This place felt like home in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. It was so perfect for our needs. 2 hours to South Point area/Green Sand beach. Less than an hour to Volcano National Park. Half hour to Pahoa beaches and geothermal ponds. Super clean, well stocked with amenities, very responsive hosts. I would absolutely stay here again.

We absolutely loved The Sugar Shack! It was more than what we expected - the house had everything we needed, and the flow was seamless. Even though we arrived pretty late, the instructions on how to get to the house were very clear, and we found it without any issues. It felt like we had lived there for years, which made it so perfect for us. The location was fantastic - about an hour away from Hilo, nestled in the beautiful SeaView subdivision. We had the opportunity to check out an event at the SeaView park, which was a lot of fun. Plus, we were close to Volcanoes National Park and some stunning black sand beaches. We highly recommend The Sugar Shack - it was the perfect spot for our stay!

Our stay at Laura & Garven’s suite was very comfortable and spacious. The views and landscaping were absolutely stunning! The donkeys (2) and the horse were so happy to greet us when we went down to the stables and field. The fresh apple bananas 🍌 and tropical fruits Laura provided were delicious. There is a scenic drive of 4 miles that starts only a mile from this place which has a botanical gardens and path to a rugged beach 🏖️ A hole in the wall restaurant at the end of the 4 mile mark is worth checking out too! The grilled corn beef sandwich and goat tacos 🌮 are scrumptious! I highly recommend staying here for a slice of tranquility topped off with Cool Island breezes that smell very fragrant as you take in the ocean scenery. We loved our slice of paradise here. I wish I had more time to stay to enjoy the beauty of this place. The house was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Kids enjoyed a fruit garden and had a comfortable sleep. We got to meet the host, and they were very friendly. I would definitely stay again on the next trip.

Raul was so accommodating, He helped my family and I out and went out his way to make sure all was well. The scene was amazing every morning sitting outside with my coffee was priceless. I wanted to move in. I would definitely book again! Thanks Raul, The Jalieba’s

Jade's instructions were easy to follow. We were able to drop off our luggage's before the check-in time and return after which was neat. The home was clean & cozy. Would definitely stay here again!

Genes place was very clean,and comfortable. lots of space and nice kitchen area. ceiling fan is a life saver as it can get warm but everything worked great and the the view from the balcony is nice over looking the pool with all the greenery. Mahalo to Gene and O'hana!

Simple and spacious apartment, in a condominium surrounded by nature, with a great location. There is no air conditioning, no TV, but we don't miss it. It's a great lodging option for exploring the other side of the Big Island.

This place was fabulous. Everything I had hoped it would be and more. The cove right at the condo was amazing. We walked out at night and got see the turtles. My favorite place so far. The host was awesome too. Hope we get to come back here someday.

Maggie was very responsive and helpful. She had great recommendations and was flexible when I needed to add a night to my trip. The room has a great location and the balcony was amazing. It was very clean the bed was comfy and the fan combined with the AC kept it very cool. The pool was really big and had fresh water which makes a big difference. Overall a great experience A+ Mahalo Maggie!

A very nice, cozy apart. Very good location, 5 mins drive to the beach and shopping center around. 45 mins drive to the volcano NP and we saw the episode 23 eruption. Krista and Ala always responds very quicknd helpfu.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Qin's place in Hilo. It was a lovely spot for our night there. Although there wasn't any air conditioning, the fans made it manageable and we felt comfortable overall. The location was incredibly convenient for exploring the area, with easy access to shopping and dining. Qin’s co-host, Mandy, was absolutely fantastic, ensuring that our check-in and check-out experience went smoothly. Every aspect of the space felt unique and special, and we genuinely look forward to returning when we come back to Hilo.

I wish we could've stayed longer! What a wonderful place to relax! Sitting on the patio or in the pool, and listening to the waves on the shoreline, was amazing! Sonja and Alex were so friendly and helpful - it felt like staying with family. They thought of everything to make the accommodations perfect! We will definitely be back!
