we enjoyed our weekend stay. The listing was as described. Clean, quiet, and peaceful. We took advantage of and used the kayaks one day. The walk to carry them to and from the lake was a bit of a trek but manageable. A kayak cart would be helpful. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! Having the lake just a small trot away was wonderful, and everyone felt really comfortable. We loved having two living rooms for the early birds and the night owls. And we were greeted every day by the super friendly dogs in the neighborhood! Would definitely return.

Renee & Pat were the best Airbnb hosts I’ve ever had. They were helpful, responsive, & attentive. We were welcomed with cinnamon rolls, wine, & even Easter eggs left all over the house for the kids to find. Such a sweet gesture. The kids were so happy for their fun activity after our long travel. The house itself and the property were larger than I expected. There was plenty of room and bathrooms for us all. So much to do in the backyard and you could even walk to the park and lake behind the property. Definitely would love to stay here again or any other place they might host. ☺️

We had an awesome time at Jason’s place. The lake access is not far away and after a short walk the kids enjoyed catching huge perch around the boat house. We loved the fire pit area and spent a lot of time visiting around a warm fire. The giant bunk bed room was a kid favorite. It had eight full size beds in the bunk room and another three beds in three other rooms. There is a little walking trail not far away. We also drove 10 min to riverside park to fly fish for a few hours in the morning. If you are looking for a place on lake Whitney that sleeps 16, has plenty of outside space and water access this is a great one.
