Our beautiful shepherd's hut is located on a working arable farm. Sylishly decorated and comfortable, with a small kitchenette; en-suite bathroom complete with modern shower and a woodburner for those cooler evenings. Set in 3/4 acre of grassed space with a wooded backdrop and views of the Ridgeway, the tranquil setting will allow you to relax, especially while luxuriating in the wood fired hot tub. Parking is at the farm, but access to hut is on foot only (300m). We are NOT Bourton on the Water

Most, if not all the Cotswolds most sough after pubs restaurants, and tourist attractions are very close by. Inc Bibury, Burford, Broadway, Bourton on the Water, Lechlade and Cirencester. We are perfectly located if you are attending a wedding at Cripps, Stone or Oxleaze Barn.

We had a lovely peaceful stay! Nothing was too much for Helen. She was so welcoming and on hand if we needed her. The hut had ran out of fire lighters, so she gave us some from her own supply. Great location as well. Just a note for if you’re booking - the isn’t any plates, cups, cutlery etc… so if you’re having a BBQ or takeaway, you will need to bring this with you which we didn’t realise. Thank you so much Helen!

Another fab stay at your beautiful cottage Susan. Thank you for the wine. We managed to take advantage of the outside space and enjoyed an evening drink in the sun there. Love all the planting, must admit I couldn’t resist removing a side shoot from the tomatoes ( am a keen gardener myself so just can’t help myself!!) Perfect location for local travel. We visited Kelmscott Manor, somewhere I always wanted to visit when I lived locally but never got round to. All in all a little gem of a cottage.

Great stay. 5 stars. Check in very easy and Nicola was very responsive. The hut / carriage is a lot more spacious than we thought going off the photos. Tea, coffee & milk provided. Farm shop next door is ideal for cooked breakfast / local produce. We picked up food from the local Aldis and cooked on the gas BBQ. Comfy camp chairs and Bistro set on site along with fire pit which was nice late on in the evening. Highlight of the booking was the horses on their field which come over occasionally for a pet. Highly rate this place. Would book again.

Jon was an incredible host, whose hospitality surely made an impression on us. As we walked in, we were welcomed by some groceries and a bouquet of fresh flowers on the table, beautifully decorated. Jon was also energetic and very helpful at giving advice on the local areas. We had a truly wonderful time there.

The cottage is small but has everything that is needed and was very clean. The bed is the standard 1,40m wide and comfortable. Communication with John worked very well, he helped us immediately with a problem we could not solve on our own. The parking spot immediately in front of the entrance was great, too, as was the closeness to the parts of the Cotswolds we like most and to Gloucester and Oxford. We can recommend John‘s cottage and would like to come back.

me and my husband had to rent Chris's place for a month, and it was a lovely stay. Everything is accessible especially the Co-op, the parking was not as bad I thought and surprisingly convenient even if it's on street. We were also able to check the Saturday Market just outside the airbnb. Overall it was a lovely.
