Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hersonissos

Wir waren acht Frauen, die eine Woche in der Villa Rodea verbracht haben. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, der Ausblick ist wundervoll und wir hatten eine unkomplizierte Betreuung durch das Komos-Team. Wir kommen wieder.

We have just had the most gorgeous family holiday at Villa Belle Helene . It is the perfect villa equipped to the highest standards both inside and out and exceeded all our expectations. Inside is spacious and all the rooms have excellent air conditioning which was very welcome in the heat. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor areas, especially the pool and jacuzzi which were perfect to cool down in the heat and to enjoy. The sheltered area outside the lounge is perfect for eating and BBQs and the raised outdoor seating area with TV provides the opportunity to unwind in an evening. It is 10 mins walk up to Old Hersonnissus which has a lovely square with Tavernas and bars. Hiring a car is worthwhile to explore the island further but not essential as its easy to book taxis. Eleni and her family are absolutely lovely, they could not be more helpful and made us so welcome. We would absolutely recommend this villa and would love to stay again if we go back to Crete.

La villa était superbe, décorée avec beaucoup de goût ! Le linge de lit et serviettes étaient impeccable de très bonne qualité : Guy Laroche. La cuisine était assez bien équipée : nous avons eu pendant quelques jours un chef cuisinier sous la recommandation de Stefani et c’était juste incroyablement bon et belle découverte. Le petit village à côté est très mignon et non loin de la villa : ce qui était pratique. La villa est idéalement bien située. Nous pensions que la villa était dans un endroit un peu « seule » mais ce n’était pas totalement le cas; ce qui nous a fait un peu peur au début et finalement c’était très calme, agréable. Chez Antonis et Stefani nous nous sentons vraiment comme à la maison : c’était très propre à notre arrivée. Stefani nous a accueilli chaleureusement, elle a été une hôte très réactive et répondant de façon très efficace dès que nous avions une question ou un petit problème. Elle est souriante c’est fort agréable. Nous recommandons leur villa.

Tasos est un hôte extrêmement accueillant. À notre arrivée tardive, nous avons trouvé un frigo et un congélateur généreusement garni. Des fruits, des confitures, des biscottes et des boissons fraîches et chaudes nous attendaient. Et Tasos a été absolument adorable pour nous faciliter le séjour. Nous lui en sommes très reconnaissants. Son appartement est très agréable , le jacuzzi et la vue magnifique en font une perle rare. Nous recommandons vivement cette location, encore plus appréciée grâce aux nombreux détails auxquels Tasos a pensé.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Tout s'est très bien passé. Le logement était conforme à nos attentes : confortable, bien équipé. Un grand merci à Angelina et Céline pour leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse, aussi bien avant notre arrivée que pendant le séjour. Le seul petit bémol, que nous connaissions à l'avance, est l'emplacement un peu isolé qui nécessite d'être véhiculé. Heureusement un service de navette est proposé, ce qui est un vrai plus. Une adresse que nous gardons précieusement et que nous recommandons !

Very high class Villa, if you are looking for quality accommodation then look no further. My family consisted of 7 adults and an 18 month old, stayed for 8 days. Everyone loved it. There is a great traditional taverna only 10 minutes walk away, a big supermarket 15 mins by car and great beach again just 15 mins by car. We were there in May, spend most of the time around the pool and firing up the fantastic BBQ!

Anestis was extremely helpful and pleasant and the place is amazing! Great view and sound of the water which was very relaxing. Close to a great beach town which was walkable.

nous avons passé une belle semaine dans le logement de Maria. La terrasse couverte est la plus belle pièce de la maison avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. La plage est à moins de 5 min à pied, par contre attention, pour les personnes qui ont des difficultés à marcher, la pente est plutôt raide à remonter. Maria est très réactive et répond très vite aux messages. agia pelagia reste une petite station balnéaire très bien situé pour visiter le Nord de l'île. Belle découverte

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans l’appartement de Christina. L’appartement est très bien équipé et on se sent comme à la maison. Christina est très réactive et nous a proposé des adresses de restaurants dans les environs. Encore merci pour tout.

This was our 4th stay at Giannis' place and as always it was perfect. The property is exactly as pictured and described, so comfortable, with amazing outdoor space and everything you need (great WiFi, smart TV, great shower, plenty of towels and bed linen, etc). The outdoor space is the major selling point, with lots of different relaxing areas, plenty of shade, and a fabulous pool. And stunning views to boot! Agios Myron is a lovely little town: if you go please make sure to visit the local bar, restaurant, bakery and shop, all run by lovely people. Looking forward to returning again next year!

We just loved everything about this airbnb!!!!! The house was AMAZING, incredible views, incredible features, we went to the pool, did barbecue, breakast with ocean view, everything and more we expected! Konstations is THE BEST host we ever got!! Not only he was hiper reactive, attentious ( he made sure to got us on the airport so we arrive well, his mom cooked us food because they would imagine we would arrive late and hungry), incredibly generous and nice!! We have many tips and support during the full trip ! Everything and more that we expected! Thank you again

Insgesamt sehr gut, uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen vor allem für Familien mit Kindern allen Alters. Wir waren mit vier Kindern zwischen 1-15 Jahren im Februar eine Woche dort. Das ist super, bis auf das Bad gut heizbar, aber warmes Wasser ausreichend da auch für mehrere Duschen nacheinander. Super Kommunikation mit Manolis, sehr hilfreich und prompt, fühlten uns sehr als Gäste willkommen. Sein Bruder erwartete uns an der Hauptstraße und zeigte uns den Weg durch die wunderschönen Olivenhaine. Auto ist sinnvoll, theoretisch wäre es auch mit Bus und 10 Minuten Laufen erreichbar, sehr schöner Strand 15-20 min, paar Minuten mit Auto. Ausstattung der Hauses perfekt, die Fotos untertreiben eher. Zahlreiche Mücken haben uns eine unangenehme Überraschung bereitet, aber das ist wahrscheinlich für Februar auf Kreta normal. Das Wetter war sehr variabel: innerhalb einer Woche im Meer gebadet und Schneeschauer. Wir fanden es super.

Wir haben mit 5 Erwachsenen phantastische erholsame 2 Wochen in Alexandros Villa verbracht. Die Villa ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich für einen komfortablen Urlaub wünscht. Wir haben uns von Beginn an wohlgefühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die herausragende Lage der Villa. Der Blick gerade vom oberen Balkon auf die Berge ist atemberaubend. Mit einer Sitzmöglichkeit würde der Balkon noch einladender sein, um den einen oder anderen Sonnenuntergang genießen zu können. Alexandros ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber. Er hat uns persönlich vom Flughafen abgeholt, half uns beim Transport der Gepäckstücke und begleitete uns zur Villa. Er gab uns wertvolle Tips zum Erkunden der Insel und war jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Das gab uns ein gutes Gefühl. Wir Können die Villa von Alexandros uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

I enjoyed my stay at Christos's apartment. His son, Sotiris, was super-fast at answering my questions and offering helpful tips. The apartment was well-equipped, about a 15 minute walk to the center (museums and port), 5 minute walk to a great supermarket and inbetween two great places for coffee and baked goods.

Eva and her husband are the loveliest people, you are greeted with open arms by Eva and have a good chat. The accommodation is 5 star with everything you need. Eva and her husband where very helpful in many cases such as the walk to Lidl was great but the shopping we done was too much for us to walk back so Eva’s husband offered to pick us up! Our overall stay was amazing both too far from shops and rentals. This place is perfect for a quiet place to head off to and for the beautiful scenery. If you want to get around and visit places there is public transport but I would recommend renting a car or an ATV as this is what we did for our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone for one of the most beautiful get aways! Thank you Eva and your husband for everything and Gloria and I hope to see you again!

Nous sommes extrêmement ravis de notre séjour chez Georges et sa famille. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par des hôtes d’une grande gentillesse. Leur bienveillance a vraiment fait la différence, et nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous tout au long de notre séjour. Le logement a grandement contribué à la qualité de nos vacances. Il est idéalement situé, ce qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de toutes les activités à proximité. De plus, les tarifs sont très attractifs, offrant un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Die Unterkunft in Kokkini Hani war insgesamt sehr schön. Alles war sauber und gepflegt, es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht – von Küchenutensilien bis hin zu Strandhandtüchern. Die Lage ist ein echtes Highlight: Direkt am Strand, man hört das Meer schon beim Aufwachen. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: Die Raumaufteilung ist sehr offen gestaltet, wodurch es keine wirkliche Privatsphäre in den einzelnen Zimmern gibt. Wer Wert auf getrennte Schlafräume legt, sollte das bedenken. Trotzdem eine tolle Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage – perfekt für einen entspannten Strandurlaub!

Ein echter Geheimtipp für alle, die Ruhe, Natur und Privatsphäre suchen. Die Unterkunft liegt idyllisch gelegen, umgeben von vielen Olivenbäumen und Bergen– perfekt zum Abschalten. Besonders gefallen haben uns der wunderschöne Pool, der gepflegte Tennisplatz und die erfrischende Außendusche – ein echtes Highlight nach einem heißen Tag in der Sonne. Alles war sehr sauber und liebevoll gestaltet. Magdalena war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns alle aufkommenden Fragen schnell beantwortet. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Eine Taverne, eine Tankstelle und eine kleine Bäckerei sind innerhalb von 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Da es allerdings keinen Bürgersteig gibt, ist ein Auto auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! Zum nächsten Strand, nach Heraklion und zum Flughafen sind es mit dem Auto ca. 15 Minuten.

Great stay! Just be aware of the additional “climate tax” that is requested upon arrival. This wasn’t very clear before booking via Airbnb. But I did receive a notification afterwards. Nothing against the hotel though. Everything was great 😎

The stay was good, private and secluded. All listed amenities were present. Pool and BBQ were crucial to us, also worth to mention: there is an A/C unit in each room. Wifi was perfectly stable. You can hear the road noises, but it is manageable, it didn't affect our experience.

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und wurden von George super freundlich empfangen und mit Reise- Restaurant Tipps durch den Urlaub begleitet, die Kommunikation fand sehr simpel, zuverlässig und zügig über w.a. statt, was wir als sehr angenehm empfanden. Wir haben hervorragende Restauranttipps von George erhalten! Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, eine schöne bepflanzte Außenanlage, super Aussicht auf das Meer, den Pool konnten wir wetterbedingt leider nicht nutzen, sah aber sehr einladend aus. Durch die steile Hanglage kommt man zu Fuß nur bedingt voran, weshalb unser Mietwagen goldwert war...lohnt sich eh, Kreta hat so viel zu bieten. Gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge mit dem Auto zur Inselerkundung.

Wir haben uns von Anfang an bei Giorgos und Evi wohlgefühlt. Trotz der Verspätung unseres Fluges waren die beiden zu später Stunde vor Ort und haben uns in Ruhe alles erklärt. Das Tiny-Haus war sehr sauber, funktional und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben es genossen, auf der stimmungsvollen Terrasse den Tag ausklingen zu lassen oder uns zwischendurch im Pool zu erfrischen. Unsere Vermieter waren jederzeit für uns da und haben uns sogar einmal einheimische Süßpeisen mitgebracht. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstes jedem empfehlen, der in der Nähe von Heraklion auf der Suche nach einem Quartier ist.
