Choisser Burnett House - Vintage Charm & Comfort

The historic Choisser Burnett House is located at 1201 Organ Street in Eldorado, Illinois.  A revival style home built in the 1880's, it was home to several prominent families who were responsible for business development in the area. Twenty minutes minutes south is the  Shawnee National Forest whose terrain spans woodlands, hills and lakes and it's wildlife includes bald eagles. There is a sister house across the street, The Paddock at 1208 which sleeps 6 and is also on Airbnb.com.

Plan a trip to Garden of the Gods, Jackson Falls, Tunnel Hill Trail or Shawnee National Forest finishing the evening roasting hotdogs around the fire. *No parties or events allowed during your stay.
