We offer a room with private bathroom and kitchen, TV, desk, Wi-Fi in our private house on the outskirts of the city. Ideal for short breaks, but not suitable for shepherd hours and parties. Our house is rural and quiet, but still close to the center. The MAIN TRAIN STATION and the city are about 10 minutes away(on foot about 20 minutes) A2 / A43 about 10 minutes, Public transport in the vicinity Surroundings. Close by are shops of the day. Cozy Forest Stay in a Steigerhaus – Dog Friendly

A bright, lovingly furnished attic apartment (2nd floor) in an old Steigerhaus (former foreman’s house from the mining era) – once part of a mining site, now surrounded by woods and meadows. A cozy home away from home for up to two people. The apartment is accessible via a comfortably wide spiral staircase. If you don’t like dogs, this isn’t the right place for you – they’re part of our family. That’s why dogs are, of course, very welcome in our holiday apartment.

The living room is open on the 2nd floor. Attic (without elevator). The accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen, a large living-dining area, a sofa, two bedrooms with one bed each and two single beds (extra beds). There is a bathroom with shower and bathtub as well as a sink and toilet. The apartment is about 300 meters from the cultural center (VHS) Herne and about 500 meters from Herner city center. A supermarket and a bakery are right behind the house.

Small attic apartment, great for staying overnight. Simple basic equipment is available. Fresh towels, soap, and fresh bed linens are provided. No dishwasher No washing machine No Wi-Fi. The bus station is about 500 meters from the house. In 12 minutes by bus to Essen city center. 20 minutes to Essen central train station. Netto and Aldi are right at your doorstep. Laundromat, DM, Rewe, Edeka, hairdresser, post office/DHL are 2 km away.
