Report and block a host or guest’s messages

Help keep our community safe by reporting suspicious or inappropriate messages. Depending on the reason you are reporting the message, you may also have the option to block the host or guest from continuing to message you as part of the reporting process.

Report a message with an option to block

Report a message on desktop

  1. Click Messages and select the conversation you want to report
  2. In the message, click the three dots
  3. Click  Report this message
  4. Select the reason you’re reporting the message and click OK
  5. Give further details (if required) and then click Submit


What happens when you block a host or guest

If you block someone, they won’t be able to send you messages, book your listing or accept a reservation request from you.

Hosts or guests can’t be blocked for an upcoming or active reservation

It’s not possible to block your host or guest for an upcoming or active reservation, unless the reservation is cancelled. You can always contact us to step in and help.

Other places where you can report inappropriate activity

You can also report suspicious host or guest Profiles or Listings.
