It's the photohgrapher's dream location. Eyjafjallajökull and Seljalandsfoss can be seen from the apartment. 4x4 is necessary during winter as the path leading to the house can get very snowy.

Urriðafoss Apartments is located in amazing nature, at the front of the waterfall Urriðafoss, that is located in the River Þjórsá in Southwest Iceland. The house was built 2018 and has a big windows so our guests can enjoy the view. The house is surrounded by beautiful wildlife at the summer time and the northern lights at the winter time. Urriðafoss Apartments is fully equipped with wifi, TV, combo washing machine and dryer, coffee machine, fridge, all necessary kitchen tools and hot tub.

Then Hvílusteinn is perfect as a getaway from the city into the wilderness & as a base camp for South Iceland, within 100 km you have most of Iceland's popular gems! Airport about 170km away. It's nice to just enjoy the local nature and the northern lights in this remote and secluded area of the countryside with a private outdoor shower and shared indoor shower and a sauna. Ásahraun is a small farm in an unspoiled nature, with friendly dog and other animals. In my lovely place, which is quiet and friendly, I have 3 sleeping barrels with wc and a sink. Sleeping in a barrel is a unique experience, cozy and quiet. I have a lovely shower house, hot tub and kitchen that you share with other guests. The location is a perfect base to visit all the unique locations in the south, and Reykjavik is a little less than an hour away.

This getaway is very unique and secluded. It has spectacular panorama mountain view over two of Iceland's most famous volcanos and fantastic northern lights sightings. Vallnatún Cottage is located on the South coast of Iceland, nearby many of the main attractions, like waterfalls, volcanoes, black sand beaches and glaciers. The place is nearby the main road but at the same time a remote place, with a great view of the coastline on one side and the mountains on the other side.
