This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

De Klaver garage is een privé verblijf in rustige straat in het centrum, met gratis parkeerplek voor de deur. Aan het noordhollandskanaal, op steenworp afstand van het oude centrum en winkelstraten, vele gezellige restaurants en bars, het stadspark om de hoek en treinstation en supermarkt zijn in de buurt. Chalet in pants, on the edge of quiet park. both sides of the chalet is a terrace, so you can enjoy the sun all day. Chalet has been renewed, renovated and 50 m2 in size. Close by is hensbroekermeer where you can swim in the summer. There is a tennis court on the holiday park that can be used for free. Netflix, WiFi and linen are included in the price. There is a nespresso coffee machine. The only way to reach the chalet is by car because public transport is limited

The culinary and shopping events are also at a high level. You will be in the cultural heritage of Schermer, Beemster or Bergen/Schoorl in 5 minutes. As if that were not all, many people come to the ideal location in relation to the beach, forest and dunes.

It’s a stone throw away from the vibrant Cheesemarket and the bay window will provide you of an amazing view towards the medieval canals and the ‘Waag’ building, a national historic monument that’s located on Waagplein. Where you will also find the best local bars and restaurants. It’s close to several boutiques, restaurants and cafes can be found in the immediate vicinity.

Art & Tatra (Art of Lida and Cees cars)

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with larger children. There is no train station in Waarland and in the evening there are no buses. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you have to take care of breakfast yourself.
